The two corpses were placed in the shop where the previous bodies had been stored. At this moment, the Coastal Soldiers had already gathered in the hall and on the first floor. In this Safe Zone, Wang Chao's words carried weight; no one dared to contradict him. He had not anticipated that his visit to this Safe Zone would yield unexpected gains. Initially, he had come to investigate what had happened here, but instead, he found himself in possession of a Safe Zone. 0

The distribution of food and the gathering of troops were proceeding in an orderly manner. After all the commotion, by noon, Wang Chao looked out the window and saw that everything outside remained calm. However, everyone knew that beneath this calm lay endless danger. Once they stepped outside, it would mean certain death. The army had assembled completely, and Wang Chao turned to face the soldiers. 0

"Report, Commander Wang," said one of the leaders. "The Coastal Soldiers have fully assembled." 0

Wang Chao nodded and asked, "Good. What is your name and position?" 0

"My name is Pang Shuisheng, and I hold the highest military rank aside from Lin Chuan," the man replied. 0

"Alright!" Wang Chao nodded again and said, "Pang Shuisheng, tally up the number of firearms and ammunition in the army and report back to me shortly. Zhu Feng, come here and cut circular holes in these glass windows that can accommodate gun barrels." As he spoke, Wang Chao stood up and waved his Panlong Blade, creating small circular holes in the windows behind him that allowed gun barrels to extend through without letting any Flying Fish enter. 0

"Do you see? This is how the holes should look," Wang Chao explained. "When I arrived, I noticed these windows are made of thick glass. By drilling holes separately, the glass won't shatter completely. The gaps should be slightly larger; otherwise, the troops won't be able to fire together. Everyone must be careful not to break all the glass—do the same on the first floor of the hall." 0

"Understood. Zhao Wenrui, take some brothers upstairs and make sure everyone is careful not to damage the glass," Zhu Feng said as he led his guards to start drilling holes in the glass. 0

"Commander Wang, everything is ready. We have a total of five thousand seven hundred twenty firearms and thirteen thousand two hundred magazines..." Pang Shuisheng hadn't finished speaking when Wang Chao nodded and said, "These bullets are enough to eliminate the monsters outside. Gather all the magazines; soon we will engage those monsters! After that, we will be free!" 0

The residents gathered in this building were unsure what scheme Commander Wang was concocting. However, from his words, they sensed his confidence. They had been stuck here for five days without a solution; could it be that Wang Chao figured out a plan to combat these monsters within just a morning? Discussions erupted among them—some believed in Wang Chao while others were skeptical—but this new commander had completely captured everyone's attention. 0

After several hours of commotion passed, Wang Chao observed that countless small circular holes had been drilled into the glass windows. Although they varied in size and were somewhat uneven compared to the nearly perfect circle made by his Panlong Blade, aesthetics were not what he sought. Nodding his head, he instructed, "Guard team prepare; extend your gun barrels outwards and be ready to fire at any moment. Distribute all magazines at everyone's feet." 0

Everyone then realized that these small holes were shooting ports. Pang Shuisheng placed seven or eight magazines at each person's feet while they moved tables into position at the front. The first row took prone positions with their rifles; the second row crouched; those in the third row also crouched on top of tables; while those in the fourth row stood up. This arrangement allowed four rows of soldiers to shoot simultaneously from one side of the windows. 0

"Pang Shuisheng, move all the bodies from the store to the entrance!" Wang Chao instructed Pang Shuisheng. 0

"Understood!" Pang Shuisheng nodded. Before long, the bodies were gathered at the entrance. Wang Chao nodded to everyone and said, "In a moment, I will throw out a body. This will surely attract those Flying Fish. As soon as there’s any movement, you all open fire. The area around the body within a few meters is your shooting zone!" 0

"Got it!" Everyone nodded in agreement. 0

As they spoke, Wang Chao quickly opened the door and casually tossed a body far away. At that moment, the Flying Fish began to leap out of the large pond in droves, a dark mass filling the air. The sound of gunfire erupted as everyone opened fire, causing the glass to tremble. Bullets rained down, and one by one, the Flying Fish were shot into pieces mid-air, only to be devoured by the remaining fish. 0

The shooting continued for an hour. The dismembered Flying Fish became food for their companions, which kept them lingering around. As the magazines ran dry, the remaining Flying Fish retreated back into the pond. However, everyone realized that this method had killed tens of thousands of Flying Fish. It seemed that completely eliminating them was within reach! 0

"Pang Shuisheng, keep supplying magazines!" At this moment, Pang Shuisheng continued to drop several magazines at everyone's feet along with the Coastal Soldiers. 0

Wang Chao then threw out another body, and everyone followed suit, continuing to fire. Although these Flying Fish were fast, they met a gruesome end. Wang Chao understood why the military struggled against these creatures: fear of friendly fire and being overwhelmed before they could shoot. Here, those concerns were eliminated, making it easy to take down the Flying Fish. 0

When Wang Chao finally threw out Lin Chuan's body—the last one—everyone waited for a long time but no more Flying Fish leaped from the pond. Unable to contain themselves, they shouted in joy. Five days—five whole days—they had hidden here without daring to go outside; today they could finally emerge from the building! 0

This was freedom! 0

Wang Chao was the first to step out of the building. The Flying Fish had indeed been completely wiped out. Moments later, everyone rushed out of the building in disbelief at what Wang Chao had accomplished! The military had also formed ranks in front of Wang Chao. Pang Shuisheng turned to him and asked, "Captain Wang, what should we do next?" 0

At this moment, Pang Shuisheng regarded Wang Chao as the commander of the Coastal Safety Zone; in fact, he couldn't think of anyone else to turn to for guidance. 0
