“Black Card?” Wang Chao blurted out. It seemed that the third floor was indeed not accessible to ordinary people; it appeared that some sort of credential was required to go up. Yuan Min, standing beside him, was equally puzzled, as she had never been to the third floor either. Wang Chao asked, “How can one obtain this Black Card?”
The member of the Black Clothes Society replied, “Since you don’t have a Black Card, you might as well go back down.”
Yuan Min interjected, “I’m asking you how to apply for the Black Card!”
However, the Black Clothes Society member ignored both Wang Chao and Yuan Min, remaining silent on the steps. Anger flared in Yuan Min's heart, but Wang Chao remained calm, making it difficult for her to act out. Wang Chao nodded seriously and said to the Black Clothes Society Member, “This is interesting. However, I’ve heard that some people can go up without a Black Card. Have you seen anyone like that?”
The Black Clothes Society member was momentarily taken aback by Wang Chao’s words and instinctively responded, “Ever since the Black Market Underground Fighting Arena was established, I haven’t seen anyone who could go upstairs without a Black Card, unless you are our president!”
“I am not the president!” Wang Chao laughed and said, “You should be able to tell from my mask! But even if I’m not the president, I’ll show you why I can go up without a Black Card.” As he spoke, Wang Chao unleashed his killing intent completely; the cold aura made those around him shiver involuntarily. The Black Clothes Society member sensed the underlying meaning in Wang Chao’s words.
“Are you implying that you want to oppose us, the Black Clothes Society?” Although this member felt that Wang Chao’s strength far surpassed his own, he knew this was the territory of the Black Clothes Society. What could this person do against them? Did he really dare to offend the Black Clothes Society? He had no idea that the person before him was Wang Chao, who had even killed their Vice President.
Upon hearing this member's words, other members of the Black Clothes Society rushed down as well, hands resting on the hilts of their curved blades, ready to draw at any moment. The atmosphere became tense, contrasting sharply with the shouts from those around them. Wang Chao’s killing intent continued to surge outward, making it feel as though the very air around them was thickening.
Yuan Min discreetly gripped her Sleeve Blade, waiting for Wang Chao’s next move.
Wang Chao intended to stir things up in this black market; he needed to see the leader of the Black Clothes Society before their president attacked the Safe Zone. He wanted to discuss with the leader why there was such a pressing need to massacre the residents of the Safe Zone. Couldn’t they just sit down and negotiate? If they could reach an agreement, that would be great; if not, he would wait for Shen Zhitao to return.
Wang Chao clenched his fist, ready to transform into his Bone Knife and carve a bloody path upward. Just then, someone spoke from behind him: “These two are my friends. Here is my Black Card. You can put their expenses on my tab!” As she spoke, a Black Card was handed out from behind Wang Chao.
Wang Chao instantly retracted his killing intent upon hearing this voice. The speaker turned out to be a woman. When he looked back, he saw her dressed in a white dress with a white mask covering her face. A few teardrop designs were painted under her eyes, giving her a cute appearance. The member of the Black Clothes Society took the Black Card, and his expression changed significantly, becoming extremely solemn.
“Welcome! I didn’t realize they were your friends; my apologies!” The Black Clothes Society Member said as he bowed respectfully to both of them.
In a moment of distraction, the masked woman had already headed up to the third floor. Wang Chao and Yuan Min exchanged glances and followed her upstairs. As she walked, the woman said, "This is your first time here, right? It makes sense. To obtain a Black Card, you must be led by someone who already has one, and you need to pay five gold bricks. Then you can get your Black Card. Oh, and I'll give you your Black Card shortly!"
While she spoke, Wang Chao determined that the woman was quite young; judging by her height, she seemed to be around fifteen or sixteen years old. Who could this girl be? Moreover, her tone suggested she was familiar with him, speaking as if they were friends, which left Wang Chao utterly perplexed.

However, you must pay a stone brick every month; otherwise, your Black Card will be revoked after two weeks."
"And don’t even think about defaulting or playing tricks. If you're in Huaxia, the Black-Clad Society will surely hunt you down! By the way, your Black Card is permanent; you don’t have to pay for it. Just put it on my account!" The girl's sweet voice revealed something chilling. Yet Wang Chao gleaned some insights from her words.
This girl clearly held a significant position within the Black Clothes Society; her previous interactions with those from the society indicated as much. Moreover, she mentioned that her Black Card was free of charge and seemed to have an impressive understanding of the organization at such a young age. Could she possibly be the daughter of the Black Clothes Society Leader? The thought flashed through Wang Chao's mind but felt quite plausible.
However, why was this girl being so kind to him? She couldn’t be naive; after all, both he and Yuan Min were wearing masks, so she couldn't have seen their faces. It was strange—very strange.
As they continued talking, the girl led them onward as if taking them somewhere specific. Wang Chao looked around; all the private room doors were closed, and he couldn’t see what was inside. He had no choice but to follow her forward. After passing through a corridor, another staircase appeared before them. Wang Chao quietly asked Yuan Min, "Is there really a fourth floor in this fighting arena?"
Yuan Min shook his head gently and replied, "I’m not sure; I only knew about three floors."
This little girl was not simple at all. They arrived at the fourth floor where guards were stationed every few steps along the corridor. Was the leader of the Black Clothes Society here? The strict security suggested that someone important was inside that room at the end of the hallway. At that moment, the girl raised her hand; although it appeared empty, all the guards nodded respectfully upon seeing it.
Wang Chao's confusion deepened until the moment the girl pushed open a door; he suddenly realized something—she wasn’t empty-handed after all; she was wearing a ring!
