Wang Chao raised an eyebrow, then grasped the ring with his left hand, turning the ancient white ring back and forth. Despite his movements, he showed no intention of taking it off. Aivina watched this with a cold smile at the corner of her mouth. Just as she was about to speak, the girl interjected, "Wang Chao, you took my brother Zhang Fusheng's ring; that's not yours!"
Wang Chao smiled at the girl and replied, "This ring can only be handed over to Zhang Fusheng. No one else can have it, not even if you are her family. I'm truly sorry!" As he spoke, Wang Chao tightened the ring further on his finger and then fell silent, staring at Aivina.
"It seems you also want to mobilize that secret unit," Aivina said.
"Oh? Unit?" Wang Chao had never heard that term before. At that moment, Yuan Min slapped his forehead and stepped forward to explain to Wang Chao, "This ring can mobilize a mysterious unit. "Their strength is far beyond just Platinum Mid-Tier; they might have reached Platinum Tier," Aivina said as she stood up and murmured a few words in front of the elder before continuing, "Although this unit hasn't appeared for a long time—so long that even the Seven Great Families have begun to forget about them—if we have this unit, unifying the south is entirely possible!"
As she spoke, both the elder and the girl began to walk toward one side of the room.
Wang Chao finally understood the true purpose of this ancient Zhang Family ring and what Zhang Lao had left for Zhang Fusheng. Aivina had already drawn her dagger from its sheath and said with a smile, "However, not many have seen my true face; you are the first outsider to know this."

Aivina smiled again and picked up a mask from under the table. Wang Chao looked over and saw that it was an unusual mask.

As she spoke, Aivina shouted, "Black Clothes Society members, come in and eliminate the enemy!" At that moment, an old man and a young girl began to move toward the corner of the door just as it opened, and several members of the Black Clothes Society rushed in.
"Make your move!" Wang Chao shouted in response.
In an instant, Wang Chao charged at Aivina. At this moment, he activated his Breathing Technique; he needed to restrain Aivina so Yuan Min could take action. As he ran, his Bone Knife materialized.
"Well well, you even have mutated skills!" Aivina exclaimed. "I definitely can't let you go now!"
The dagger clashed with the Bone Knife; neither could gain an advantage. Then Wang Chao kicked out hard, striking Aivina in the stomach. Aivina countered with her left hand, pushing Wang Chao's leg away and thrusting her dagger directly at his leg. Wang Chao rolled to evade Aivina's stab and counterattacked. In their exchanges, both were evenly matched; neither could overpower the other.
At that moment, members of the Black Clothes Society joined the fray. Wang Chao found himself surrounded and with so many people pouring in, the spacious area became cramped. It was increasingly difficult for him to maneuver. He turned around and swung his Bone Knife in a wide arc; several members rushing from behind were instantly cut down by Wang Chao. Just then, a sudden scream pierced through the chaos, followed by Yuan Min's voice.
"If you move again, her life is forfeit!" Yuan Min shouted.
A few people turned to look, only to see Yuan Min had already taken the girl hostage, a Sleeve Blade pressed against her neck. Earlier, when Yuan Min had informed Wang Chao about the mysterious army, Wang Chao had whispered a few words in Yuan Min's ear, indicating that she would take action soon and needed to seize the girl at the first opportunity.
"Everyone, stop!" Aivina shouted.
