Its long antennae lashed out like whips towards Wang Chao. When these whips struck him, they tore through his outer clothing, exposing his Golden Armor beneath.
Realizing that its antennae could not penetrate Wang Chao's armor, the Giant Grasshopper viciously thrust them toward him. Wang Chao understood how formidable this creature was; if he were hit by those antennae, even his Golden Armor might not withstand it. He hurriedly swung his Bone Knife to cut them away, but they were incredibly flexible and difficult to sever from a distance.
It was akin to how a person could break a wooden stick; with Wang Chao's strength, he could even snap a steel rod. Yet he found himself unable to break a single strand of thread. The Giant Grasshopper had relied on its strength to lunge forward but due to this sudden emptiness and inertia, it toppled backward.
At that moment, Wang Chao's Bone Knives reappeared and aimed directly at the Giant Grasshopper's abdomen. If he struck true, he would surely eviscerate it; at that point, the Giant Grasshopper would be doomed. As his two Bone Knives sought to pierce its belly, the Giant Grasshopper realized this and gathered its four legs together to block the attack.
The hind legs of the Giant Grasshopper were incredibly thick, comparable to those of an elephant. Its four legs combined were even more robust. At that moment, Wang Chao entered the state of the Breathing Technique. With a swift turn, he unleashed two Bone Knives, slicing forward and backward. Without his Spatial Ring to store it, Wang Chao leaped up and grabbed the diamond energy Crystal.
With a firm squeeze, the energy within the diamond Crystal erupted forth, wrapping around Wang Chao's arm in a swirling azure light before merging into his body. Instantly, he felt a powerful force fill him up. This immense power manifested visibly in Wang Chao's eyes, causing his previously disguised Golden Upper level to surge directly into Diamond Upper Level.
At that moment, Wang Chao was still clad in Golden Armor, with his eyes completely surrounded by azure lines that made him look incredibly imposing. He turned back to look at the remaining few Crystals and could hardly believe that so many Crystals had been completely absorbed by him, leaving only these few hundred Crystals behind that were practically useless!
