Wang Chao stared into the eyes of the little grass. The eyes were quite ordinary, with black pupils devoid of any other color. Wang Chao wondered whether, at higher levels, eyes would no longer be distinguished by color, or if the little grass possessed some kind of genetically controlled ability. At that moment, he felt his own power was still too insignificant. He finally understood why human technology was becoming increasingly advanced while humanity itself seemed to grow smaller. 0

As the saying goes, ignorance is bliss. When his strength was still at the Silver level, he couldn't appreciate the little grass's prowess. However, upon reaching the Diamond Upper Level, he realized that the little grass was far more formidable than he had imagined. The little grass released Wang Chao's arm and said, "In four years, your strength has improved quite a bit. You truly are the most promising seed." 0

Listening to this "seed" remark from the little grass made Wang Chao feel as though there was some grand conspiracy at play; this little grass was simply too mysterious. After being bitten by a Zombie for the first time and waking up in an unfamiliar place, he had received a Spatial Ring from the little grass before returning to his original location. This incident had remained unspoken between him and anyone else. 0

Previously, when Wang Chao's strength was weak and death could come at any moment, he hadn't delved deeply into this matter. Yet over the past four years, he had never forgotten it. Now, unexpectedly encountering the little grass again raised questions about what it meant. The little grass had always been elusive; its sudden appearance here was significant. And what about Aikun'er? Was she also heading in this direction? Had she encountered the little grass as well? 0

"What do you know about this Zombie crisis? Also, what is a seed? Can you explain it clearly?" Wang Chao felt an inkling of something and anxiously questioned the little grass. He continued, "And have you seen a girl around your age?" 0

The little grass maintained its slow demeanor, showing no expression on its face. Then Wang Chao watched as it touched its hair and sat down, saying, "Even if you ask me about this matter, I won't tell you anything. As for that girl, I have seen her. She said she wanted to see Zombies, so I brought her here." 0

The little grass spoke slowly and gently: "There used to be a Gliding Club in this valley. When the Zombie crisis broke out, about a hundred people here all turned into Zombies. I left her among them; it's strange—she seemed like she had never seen a Zombie before. Moreover, her strength seems to have been enhanced with Crystal; her combat ability is quite poor." 0

Wang Chao looked at the little grass as it spoke softly without any hint of emotion on its face, seemingly unaware that its actions could harm Aikun'er. 0

"Why did you do that? You know her strength is clearly fake; why would you act like this?" Wang Chao exclaimed. "Where exactly is that club? Tell me quickly! Otherwise..." He trailed off, unsure of what to say next; in terms of power, he knew he could not compete with this girl—the disparity was simply too great. 0

The little grass tilted its head at Wang Chao with no sign of confusion but asked in a puzzled tone, "You seem very angry; why is that? Did I do something wrong? I don't think I did anything wrong. But if you want to know where Aikun'er is, I can tell you—she's right over there on that hillside." As it spoke, the little grass pointed towards the hillside across from them. 0

Without hesitation, Wang Chao dashed towards the hillside. At that moment, he activated his Breathing Technique and dared not slow down for even a moment; every second counted for Aikun'er’s safety. In just a few minutes, Wang Chao rushed down the mountain and reached the foot of the opposite hill without pausing. 0

Finally, Wang Chao spotted what was referred to as the Gliding Club—a large villa situated on a protruding flat area halfway up the mountain; it was indeed well-located. He also saw shadowy figures of Zombies nearby and noticed a girl lying on a slanted rooftop—it was none other than Aikun'er. Fortunately, she appeared unharmed. 0

Wang Chao let out a sigh of relief as two Bone Knives materialized in his hands. The hundred Zombies before him were not mutated; otherwise, they could have torn Aikun'er to shreds in mere moments. In almost no time at all, all the Zombies were eliminated by Wang Chao, and at that moment, Aikun'er was already crying on the roof of a nearby house. Wang Chao shook his head helplessly. 0

Aikun'er ran directly down from the slanted rooftop, making a gesture as if to embrace him. Seeing this, Wang Chao had no choice but to stand below the roof and open his arms wide. Aikun'er jumped down from the rooftop and landed right in Wang Chao's embrace, who held her tightly. "Zombies are so scary! They’re so disgusting, boohoo!" Aikun'er exclaimed. 0

Wang Chao patted Aikun'er on the back and asked, "Do you still want to see Zombies?" 0

Aikun'er shook her head vigorously, resting it against Wang Chao's chest. 0

"Then do you dare to run away alone again?" Wang Chao continued to question. 0

"I don't dare anymore!" Aikun'er sniffled. 0

Wang Chao nodded in approval and said, "Good, that's more like it. We'll go to the Safe Zone together soon!" 0

"Wang Chao Gege, who is she?" Aikun'er pointed behind Wang Chao and asked, "She looks really powerful and a bit strange!" Turning around, Wang Chao noticed that Xiaocao had already stood behind him without him realizing it. At this thought, a chill ran down his spine. 0

Wang Chao felt apprehensive about Xiaocao's strength, but what truly frightened him was her way of thinking that defied common logic. Aikun'er's thoughts were difficult to decipher, but as a curious little girl, they were still somewhat understandable. However, Xiaocao did not think like a human at all; that feeling was unsettling and hard to articulate. 0

"Why is she crying? Such an incomprehensible creature!" Xiaocao muttered to herself. "She came here to see the Zombies of her own accord; I didn't force her. It's really strange!" 0

Both Wang Chao and Aikun'er heard Xiaocao's murmurs and simultaneously thought: the truly strange creature is you. Shaking his head, Wang Chao asked the still-conflicted Xiaocao, "I'm taking Aikun'er back to the Zhonghu Safety Zone. What about your plans?" 0
