Wang Chao woke up with no time to rest in bed. Gao Rui observed him for a moment before saying, "Your physical strength is truly impressive. From the looks of it, you are almost fully recovered. You have various genes in your body. How do you feel? Try moving around a bit and control yourself!"
Upon hearing this, Wang Chao was aware of his physical condition. He attempted to move and discovered that both his strength and abilities had significantly improved. Gao Rui's mention of it made Wang Chao realize that he had surpassed the extraordinary level and had reached the king level. Confused, he looked at his hands, repeatedly clenching and unclenching them.
Gao Rui noticed Wang Chao's confusion and understood that despite his various experiences, Wang Chao was still unclear about what had happened to his body. Wang Chao nodded, feeling that something unusual was indeed happening within him. He attempted to use this strange ability and surprisingly found that he seemed not to need to breathe at all. Unsure of what was happening, Gao Rui suddenly seemed to recall something and asked, "Have you eaten anything toxic or..."
Wang Chao couldn't recall anything specific but suddenly remembered that he had eaten a snake gallbladder from a large snake. He replied, "I think I ate a large snake's gallbladder. Is there a problem with that?"
"That's it!" Gao Rui exclaimed. "The toxicity of the Y Virus is very strong and genetic in nature, yet you seem completely unaffected. This suggests that you must have consumed something that gave you strong antibodies. It's truly a coincidence." Wang Chao felt amazed by how unpredictable life could be; if he hadn't chosen to kill the monster back then, he might not have woken up now.
After pondering for a while without understanding the purpose of these genes, Wang Chao decided he couldn't dwell on it any longer; he needed to address the various issues left behind. With this thought in mind, he stopped contemplating the uses of these genes since it would be impossible to figure them out without practical experience. When faced with life-and-death situations, any technique would come into play.
Finding his clothes and Spatial Ring with Gao Rui's help, Wang Chao dressed himself and stepped outside. Not long after, he encountered Tang Feng and Da Qiang. Seeing Wang Chao awake filled both of them with excitement; in such moments, being alive was already a blessing. Wang Chao felt deeply moved and embraced them both. Zhuang Peng remained as indifferent as ever but couldn't help but smile upon seeing Wang Chao.
However, after looking around, Wang Chao realized he hadn't seen any women. Shen Zhitao should be flying the plane, but neither Wu Wan'er nor Yang Mengying were anywhere to be found. This puzzled him. Deciding to find Shen Zhitao for clarification, he made his way to the cockpit where Shen Zhitao was focused on piloting the aircraft. Wang Chao quietly approached her and suddenly covered her eyes.
Shen Zhitao was momentarily startled but quickly recognized the hands covering her eyes as Wang Chao's. She turned around immediately and embraced him tightly. After a minute, she remembered she was still flying the plane and hurriedly switched it to autopilot mode before kissing Wang Chao passionately. After their tender moment, Wang Chao casually asked, "Where are Yang Mengying and Wu Wan'er?"
Shen Zhitao knew that Yang Mengying was one of the most important people in Wang Chao's life and realized that aside from him, no one else could resolve this situation. She had been flying for a day without seeing any sign of Yang Mengying; every second counted as Yang Mengying could be in danger at any moment. With this in mind, Shen Zhitao decided not to hide anything from Wang Chao and recounted everything that had happened that day.
Upon hearing her words, Wang Chao was first shocked and then fell into deep thought when he learned that Yang Mengying had been thrown out of the window by Wu Wan'er. He simply couldn't comprehend this situation and asked urgently, "Where is Wu Wan'er now?"
"Wu Wan'er is currently in her room, effectively under my soft confinement. Little Wolf has been watching her!" As he spoke, Shen Zhitao manipulated the equipment and found the camera in Wu Wan'er's room. At that moment, Wu Wan'er was sitting on her bed, staring blankly out the window, lost in thought. Wang Chao nodded and said, "Wu Wan'er doesn't seem like the kind of person to do this. Come with me; let's go take a look!"
Following Wang Chao, they arrived at Wu Wan'er's room. When Wu Wan'er saw Wang Chao standing before her unharmed, she felt a surge of joy and wanted to rush forward to embrace him. However, she quickly remembered that Wang Chao must already know about what she had done that day, and her movement froze in mid-air. With a slightly dim expression, she said, "You're okay."
Wang Chao nodded, understanding what Wu Wan'er was struggling with. He said, "I believe it wasn't your intention, but can you tell me what happened that day?"
Wu Wan'er nodded. The three of them sat down, and she recounted everything that had happened that day without missing a single detail. Upon hearing this, Wang Chao fell into deep thought. At that moment, he noticed Wu Wan'er staring intently at him and softly asked, "Is that so, Brother Wang? Can you believe me?"
Without any hesitation, Wang Chao replied, "Of course I believe you. From today onward, I'm going to protect Wan'er. I believe she didn't do this; I think this matter must be closely related to Zhang Fusheng. The priority now is to find Yang Mengying!" After saying this, when Wang Chao looked at Wu Wan'er again, he saw tears streaming down her face.
Wang Chao smiled and reached out his hand. This time, Wu Wan'er no longer hesitated; she rushed forward and embraced him tightly. Wang Chao gently patted her back and leaned closer to whisper in her ear, "Don't blame Shen Zhitao and the others; they are just looking out for me. All of Wu Wan'er's grievances erupted in an instant. She wished to hold onto Wang Chao forever and never let go.
