He set aside the Energy Blocks for now; his priority was still on upgrading the Mechanical Body and Laser Gun. After all, only by strengthening the Mechanical Body could there be any hope of sustaining everything.
This time, he procured thirty types of Parts, twelve of which were for the Laser Gun, while the rest were for the Mechanical Body. From Lin Yuan's perspective, this was quite satisfactory. What Lin Yuan needed was for the entire Knee Joint to stretch significantly into an upright position while still being able to quickly revert to a jumping state. This complexity made it challenging.
Originally, such modifications would require sufficient Modification Points; however, the Parts Lin Yuan purchased were quite good and should compensate for this shortcoming.
After a series of clinks and clatters during disassembly and installation, everything went surprisingly smoothly. This success was partly due to Lin Yuan's current skill level in disassembly and assembly and partly because those Parts were standardized. In less than fifteen minutes, the entire Mechanical Leg was reassembled and looked increasingly similar to human legs.
Of course, it was only an appearance.

His Mechanical Legs had always been designed for movement and jumping, so why not enhance them a bit more? Once this special weapon was installed, Lin Yuan thought about it and decided against making the same installation on his other Mechanical Leg. He felt that concentrating the Knee Strike attack on one leg was better; if both legs were used simultaneously, what would that turn into? Kneeling?
After some time, the assembly of the entire Mechanical Legs was finally complete.
