Darkness, perhaps the most feared existence for all life, is as eternal as the light that everyone yearns for.
Since awakening on that bicycle, Lin Yuan had never experienced such complete darkness—nothing to see, nothing to feel. The Auditory Radar had become entirely useless, as there seemed to be some special substance in this Dark Nebula that countered its search capabilities.
Fortunately, at this moment, Lin Yuan did not need to manually control any buttons. Luckily, this was the Third Combat Form he had just assembled, allowing him to maintain control over the violent descent. At this safe speed, he estimated he could hold out for about ten hours; after that, he would exhaust his last bit of energy.

However, he still had a way to use his rapid descent to determine the strength of the Dark Nebula's gravity and the degree of gravitational pull. He could even sense the unique atmosphere he would soon encounter.

Time passed slowly. As the gravity of the Dark Nebula gradually increased, Lin Yuan's energy consumption accelerated.
"Sir, according to all available data analysis, we are currently about fifty thousand kilometers from the surface of the Dark Nebula. It may not be long before we make contact with the atmosphere above its surface."

With that, Lin Yuan shut down the Energy Engine. The entire Mechanical Body underwent a transformation as a pair of massive composite wings quickly assembled themselves, turning him into a large black bird in an instant.
With these composite wings and being within the atmosphere, there was much less to worry about. He could glide slowly while absorbing the free energy and scouting the surrounding environment—truly a win-win situation.
"Sir, I can't sense anything at all. What if I crash into a mountain?" Claire asked nervously, finally relaxing a bit at that moment.
