In the middle of the night, Sima Chuan climbed onto the roof.
It was more than a decade ago, after Akapa had frozen Crimson Face.
At that time, Markett the Sage approached Akapa, awakening his consciousness and beginning to share some information, though not in great detail.
Before long, Markett brought Qiong before Akapa and said, "Akapa, this is your partner, a lifelong companion. Your futures are now intertwined. I need you both to pilot the Noel Battleship to a planet called Earth. Long ago, our Sage visited there and left coordinates on an island somewhere. I have been there once; it is now called Fucheng. First, take the Battleship there and hide it. You can only use it when the time is right. Then you both need to find a place to seal yourselves away. Akapa, you can use your freezing power for this. Afterward, you will wait for someone to come and merge with you. I have already input the data of that person into your machine brain, Akapa; you will know when the time comes. Also, once on Earth and after merging with that person, you need to find Sade Sage—the one who often visits me. Qiong, you will be responsible for contacting him from now on. Alright, you can go now. I will open a wormhole space to send you near Earth; you will need to find the coordinates yourself, so remember to be quick."
"Okay." Akapa nodded and turned to leave, but Qiong stood there, looking at Markett.
"Qiong, if you have any questions, ask quickly!" Markett's anxious face revealed a hint of a smile.
"Sage, what about Noel?"
"Hehe, don't worry; I will handle it well. Now hurry!"
Seeing the confident look in Markett the Sage's eyes, Qiong nodded and ran into the Battleship with Akapa.
Inside, they were amazed by the advanced System and operations; the entire Battleship was actually a massive Mechanical Soldier. Qiong and Akapa were stunned, but time was of the essence, so Qiong quickly activated the System. Akapa operated the main System while Qiong handled the auxiliary System because they realized that only by working together could they fully operate it.
The Noel Battleship powered up completely, and before them appeared an image of a Battleship along with various data. Soon after, they saw the image of Noel Battleship transform into that of a Mechanical Soldier, with its data changing accordingly.
"Hello, Qiong and Akapa," the image began to speak. "I am Noel Battleship. As you can see, I am not just a Battleship; I am also a Mechanical Soldier. However, Markett the Sage refers to me as Mechanical Warrior."
"Mechanical Warrior?" Qiong and Akapa exclaimed in surprise.
"Yes, I will send some information to your machine brains so that you can understand what a Mechanical Warrior is and some messages left by Markett the Sage. Now we don’t have time; let’s enter the wormhole space and fulfill our mission."
After receiving the information from Noel Battleship, Qiong and Akapa looked at each other in astonishment mixed with excitement.
Indeed, it was excitement. For long ago, people began advocating for human-machine integration. This way, disabilities and certain diseases could be completely eliminated by replacing human disabilities with mechanical parts. So far, they had solved half of the Robot dilemma—half human and half machine. This not only made humans healthier but also allowed them to live longer.
Although the half-Robot dilemma had been resolved, there were still flaws. Now that Markett had completed the fully functional Robot, it was hard not to feel excited. Not only were the previous defects eliminated, but people could also transform into Mechanical Soldiers at will and revert back to their human forms. Robots were no longer just for human health; ordinary people could be equipped with them. Robots could fight and perform many tasks that humans and Mechanical Soldiers could not, making them truly versatile—there were very few things a Robot could not do. Moreover, their data surpassed anything else on the entire planet.
Akapa was still only a half-Robot, needing a person to merge with in order to become a complete Robot. However, they were known by another name—Mechanical Warriors.
What they did not know was that after they left, Markett entered his own room. By the window lay a newborn baby, fast asleep; he was Markett's grandson, named Noel.
Markett approached Noel and gently caressed his smooth face, speaking kindly: "Noel, I am sending you far away now. I hope you won't blame me! Remember to live well, and when the time comes, you must come back to see Grandpa. At that time, Grandpa will do nothing but take you out to play..."
Tears streamed down Markett's face, but he quickly wiped them away and patted Noel's head. "Alright, Noel, it's time for you to go see the scenery far away. There you'll find your favorite blue sky, white clouds, and starry nights." As Markett spoke, a black hole appeared before Noel. It was a wormhole space that Markett had already chosen as a destination. After completing these tasks, Markett began to focus on his own matters.
Moments later, the entire DR-5 planet was in shock—just a short while ago, Markett the Sage had vanished.
No one knew where Markett the Sage had gone; this Sage, who had contributed so much to the planet, suddenly disappeared as if he had never existed at all. Not only did he vanish, but his beloved grandson Noel also disappeared. The results of the technological laboratory at Markett's home—the creations and inventions—had all vanished without a trace.
When the Star Master of the planet ordered a search for Markett the Sage, they scoured the entire planet but found no sign of him.
"Chuan, have you thought of anything?" Qiong walked over and sat beside Sima Chuan.
"I have thought of the Battleship's coordinates."
"When are we going to look for it?"
"Tonight."
"Don't you need to bring them along?" Qiong recalled how Liu Chuan and others wanted to find the Battleship back then.
"No need; it would be too obvious."
"Then let's go!" Qiong leaped down and transformed into a Hoverboard in mid-air. Sima Chuan was caught by her before he even landed. The two sped off in one direction.
Before long, Sima Chuan and Qiong arrived at the coordinates. Sima Chuan jumped down and looked around.
The coordinates pointed to a stone pillar, which stood prominently on the island. Surrounding the pillar were iron rods, said to be used for climbing to the top of the pillar, where Sima Chuan was currently standing.
This stone pillar was known as One Pillar Mountain in Fucheng.
Sima Chuan walked to the center, holding the Mystic Sword, and plunged it down. The spot where the Mystic Sword struck began to shatter, revealing a circle. Connected to this circle was a directional marker.
Sima Chuan smiled and said, "I thought only I could find the Battleship. It turns out Akapa had placed you in the ice cave first before hiding the Battleship."
"Hehe, let's go." Qiong transformed once again into a Hoverboard, carrying Sima Chuan westward.
When they reached a cliff's edge, Sima Chuan instructed Qiong to stop. This cliff was where Sima Chuan had fallen after his defeat—Nearwater Cliff.
"Down we go." With that, Qiong began to descend. They landed on a large boulder in the river.
"It seems this boulder needs to be replaced," Sima Chuan said with a smile at Qiong.
"Akapa wouldn't have hidden the Battleship inside it, would he?" Qiong asked, surprised.
"Actually, these stones are all attached to the Battleship," Sima Chuan replied, turning his palm downward as a faint blue light began to emanate. The boulder started to crack from the center outward, and a Battleship slowly rose up. As the Battleship emerged, the stones began to reassemble into one large boulder. The Battleship that landed beside them began to transform into a massive Mechanical Warrior.
