In that space once again...
“How long have I been unconscious out there?” Sima Chuan asked, panting, looking at Akapa.
“Not long, just a few hours, I suppose.”
“Is that so short? Then I should be fine, right?” Sima Chuan mumbled. However, Akapa caught that and reassured him, “It’s all good. You’ll wake up tomorrow morning. Now it’s time for the next training session; we have more important things to do later.”
“What’s the next task?”
“Defeat me.”
“What?” Sima Chuan looked at Akapa as if he had seen a ghost.
“Exactly, defeat me,” Akapa confirmed with certainty. “And during the process, you need to observe how I utilize my own power.”
Sima Chuan hesitated for a moment but eventually nodded firmly, a glint of determination flashing in his eyes as he charged at Akapa. However, it wasn’t long before Sima Chuan found himself crumpled on the ground, writhing in pain.
Akapa looked down at Sima Chuan and shook his head, lifting him up with a fierce expression. “Keep going.”
“Uh…” Sima Chuan stared at Akapa in disbelief; he had never seen him like this before.
“Hurry up! You’re not paying attention to my movements at all,” Akapa said as he tossed Sima Chuan far away.
“Ow ow…” Sima Chuan cried out in pain.
Just as Sima Chuan painfully stood up, he saw Akapa flash toward him, incredulously observing the footwork Akapa was using—Carefree Step Technique.
“Remember, when fighting an enemy, don’t get distracted; otherwise, you’ll end up as a corpse,” Akapa finished speaking just as Sima Chuan was sent flying again.
Afterward, Akapa demonstrated the Carefree Sword Technique to Sima Chuan one by one. Sima Chuan began to take it seriously; from his initial panic to being able to defend himself step by step. Every time Sima Chuan was on the verge of collapse from pain, Akapa would force him to continue, regardless of how exhausted he was.

“Aitak, can you tell us what we need?” Selma asked with keen interest as she looked at Aitak, waiting for his response.
“Nai,” Aitak directly mentioned Nai's name.
“Is this matter about Nai true or false?” Selma asked again.
“Did you just see the state of the Star Maiden Palace?” Aitak countered.
“I did see it, and I'm very curious about who could have 'done' such a thing to the Star Maiden Palace.”
“Shadow Legion.”
“Shadow Legion? What is that?” Selma inquired.
“Markett the Sage, why don't you explain?” Aitak smiled slightly at Markett.
Markett nodded and said, “The Shadow Legion is a Mechanical Legion secretly formed by Nai. Their defining characteristic is their black color. They possess extremely high intelligence and exceptional combat abilities, especially in team battles. Their bodies are made from a new type of Alloy with rapid healing capabilities.”
“Why would Nai form such a powerful Mechanical Legion?” Selma asked, although she had heard some information from Sade, she still wanted to know more.
“Nai aims to establish an empire, a true technological empire, which has been in the works for a long time. He is collaborating with capable individuals like Paswo and Booth.”
“Are you sure about this?” Selma looked at Markett; such matters couldn't be taken lightly. What if it wasn't true?
“I can assure you that Nai's influence exists in various main cities and regions, and some city lords and Regional Leaders have been replaced by Nai's Shadow Legion,” Markett stated, shocking everyone present.
“Markett the Sage, you need to take responsibility for these statements,” Aitak said with concern, hoping that Markett's words were not true. Markett replied firmly, “I swear on my reputation that everything I say is true.”
“If this is indeed true, then we need to discuss this thoroughly; otherwise, we could be in serious trouble,” Selma said after a moment of silence.
“Yes, we need to prepare for both scenarios; otherwise, if something goes wrong later, it will be problematic,” Aitak sighed.
“Should we have them present?” Selma hesitated as she glanced at Kathy and the others.
“No problem at all.”
"Alright, let's discuss how to deal with the upcoming period."
"No," Markett rejected Selma's suggestion. "I believe Nai will take action soon, so we should prepare for the worst."
"Oh? Why do you think that?" Selma looked at Markett with suspicion. There were still many uncertainties, and he spoke so confidently; could there be an issue?
"Because I know Nai's ambitions."
"Is that all?" Selma scoffed.
"I trust Markett the Sage." Surprisingly, Aitak completely sided with Markett.
"You..." Selma was left speechless.
"Alright, let's talk about what we should do next." Aitak turned to Adela and said, "Adela, go find someone to repair your Star Maiden Palace."
"Okay, Father." Adela hurried out. However, it wasn't long before she rushed back in.
Aitak noticed Adela's frantic demeanor and felt a surge of anger. "Adela, what happened that has you so flustered?"
"It's bad, Father, the Star Empress."
"Calm down, Adela, my daughter. What exactly is going on?" Kathy gently patted Adela's back.
"Um." Adela nodded at her mother. "Just now, the leader of the Mechanical Guard Squad reported that there have been riots involving Mechanical Soldiers, Mechanical Guards, and unknown Mechanical Legions in various main cities and regions. Many places are descending into chaos, and the people's emotions are unstable. We've already dispatched our guard squad to handle it."
"It’s Nai; he acted so quickly." After hearing Adela's account, Markett spoke up.
"Could it really be true?" Selma frowned.
"Well, there's no need for further discussion; let's go out and see if it's indeed Nai's doing." Aitak began to walk outside, and Selma shook her head but followed him out.
"Star Master, Star Empress!" The Mechanical Guard Captain greeted Aitak and Selma respectfully as they emerged.
"What's the situation now? Hurry up and tell us," Aitak asked directly.
"Yes, the guard team has been dispatched, but there are still casualties. Our defenses in various locations and the weapons center have been under continuous attack. Many buildings have been destroyed, some reduced to ruins."
"We understand," the Mechanical Guard Captain began to say something else but was interrupted by Aitak: "Where is Nai now?"
"Reporting to Star Master, we haven't seen Lady Nayi, and it seems she has been staying inside Nai Hall. If this were any other time, Lady Nayi would definitely be the first to come out."
"Alright, I understand. You go protect the people in the infirmary."
"Yes."
After the Mechanical Guard Captain left, Aitak turned to Selma and asked, "What do you think? How should we handle this situation?"
"Are you sure Nai is behind this?" Selma countered, although she too found Nai's unusual behavior puzzling.
"Let's wait a bit and see what happens in the morning."
"Okay." Selma replied before walking away, though Aitak didn't notice the faint smirk that appeared at the corner of her mouth.
