In the Activity Room of the Comprehensive Building at Yuying Middle School, Yang Xiaoyou sat in a chair, feeling a delightful sensation against the back of his head. He struggled to endure this feeling while his right hand pushed against a delicate white hand that was pulling at him. 0

At that moment, Liu Lianyue stood behind Yang Xiaoyou, her left arm tightly wrapped around his neck, pressing her ample chest against the back of his head. With her right hand, she grasped Yang Xiaoyou's writing hand and pressed it down onto a form on the table, seemingly wanting him to write something. 0

"Xiao You, there's no need to hesitate. Just sign it," Liu Lianyue said enticingly as she held onto Yang Xiaoyou's hand. 0

Originally, Yang Xiaoyou had accompanied Liu Lianyue to visit her newly applied-for Activity Room. He had casually agreed to her request to join the Traditional Literature Club and had readily filled out the membership application. 0

However, after signing one form, Liu Lianyue pulled out another for him to fill out two copies. Trusting her intentions, Yang Xiaoyou prepared to sign again without suspicion. 0

Yet, a sense of unease stirred within him regarding the Memory Fragments, prompting him to check the details on the front of the form before proceeding. 0

Just then, Liu Lianyue launched her advance, leading to the current situation. 0

"I just want to take a look; I'm not refusing to sign," Yang Xiaoyou protested as he felt overwhelmed by the soft sensation behind him, but he remained resolute. 0

"What's there to see? It's just a membership application," Liu Lianyue replied. Her demeanor was markedly different from how she usually presented herself to Yang Xiaoyou; she seemed overly forward. 0

"Excuse me," came a clear and magnetic female voice as the door to the Activity Room swung open. Liang Wuxuan's alluring figure appeared in the doorway, clearly unaccustomed to knocking. 0

"Uh..." Liu Lianyue froze momentarily at the unexpected guest's arrival while Yang Xiaoyou seized the opportunity to escape from her soft embrace. 0

However, in his haste, he stumbled as he stood up and fell backward with Liu Lianyue onto the floor in a tangle. The form he had yet to fully examine scattered across the ground, landing right in front of Liang Wuxuan. 0

"Wait a moment." As Liang Wuxuan bent down to pick up the form, Liu Lianyue's expression changed dramatically. With a sudden burst of strength, she pushed Yang Xiaoyou away and sprang up, swiftly crossing over to stand before Liang Wuxuan with surprising agility. 0

Yet she had been slightly hindered by Yang Xiaoyou's weight and needed time to push him off before reaching the door. By the time Liu Lianyue arrived at Liang Wuxuan's side, Liang Wuxuan had already glanced at the form. 0

Stopping in front of Liang Wuxuan and seeing her half-smiling expression, Liu Lianyue's face flushed with embarrassment. 0

"Ah, I won't be going out. You all continue, excuse me." With that, Liang Wuxuan gently covered her lips with a piece of paper, her eyes squinting into crescent shapes as she retreated from the Activity Room, closing the door behind her. 0

After Liang Wuxuan left, Yang Xiaoyou sat up with a dazed expression, her dreams of being the soft-hearted girl had completely shattered. 0

"Ah, Xiao You, how did you fall?" At that moment, Liu Lianyue forced a smile and approached Yang Xiaoyou, extending her hand to help her up. 0

"Stop pretending; we've met before," Yang Xiaoyou replied with a look of grievance. It seemed that her budding first love was completely crushed by this jerk—no, it was directly aborted. 0

"Tsk, brat, you're making things difficult for me," Liu Lianyue said as she seemed to let go of her facade. She stepped on the overturned stool and shot an annoyed glance at Yang Xiaoyou, her expression changing rapidly in a way that perfectly illustrated what it meant to have expressive features. 0

"Where's Huang Wei?" Yang Xiaoyou muttered. Although she caught a glimpse of something delightful beneath Liu Lianyue's skirt due to her standing on the stool, she had no interest in appreciating it. 0

"He’s fine; just needed a little break," Liu Lianyue said as she kicked the stool upright and sat down with a roll of her eyes. 0

At that moment, Yang Xiaoyou finally recognized this fellow; she was the one who had been in the passenger seat during that wrong turn in Shanghai, wearing a duckbill cap and sporting red hair. 0

Due to the hair dye and disguise, along with their completely opposite personalities, Yang Xiaoyou had never made the connection before. 0

From Liu Lianyue's brief display earlier, Yang Xiaoyou estimated that this fellow had considerable fighting ability. She must have trained rigorously at some martial arts school and had likely participated in real combat given the fierce energy in her moves. 0

Compared to herself now, it would be hard to gauge without having fought against her directly. 0

Although he noticed that the radicals in that car were quite young, he never expected this leader-like fellow to be a high school student. 0

Now he understood why memories of those guerrillas were so hard to erase; most of them were like this—picking up weapons to rebel and putting them down to live. It was truly difficult to pin them down. 0

Moreover, Liu Lianyue was also the daughter of a duke. Although the title itself held little practical significance, there was no doubt that obtaining such a title indicated her family was among the elite. 0

The fact that such a fellow participated in the Common Unity Party left Yang Xiaoyou somewhat speechless. 0

Now he finally understood what the other person's "goodbye" meant back then; perhaps at that moment, he realized he was one of her classmates. 0

It was quite impressive that this fellow could recognize someone as inconspicuous as him. 0

"What was that form just now? It wouldn't be your party application, would it?" After confirming that Huang Wei was fine, Yang Xiaoyou asked with a hint of annoyance. 0

"Uh, I told you not to hesitate and fill it out quickly, you jerk." Liu Lianyue looked embarrassed, seemingly hit by Yang Xiaoyou's words. 0

"Then why did you let that fellow leave?" Yang Xiaoyou felt a surge of frustration; at the very least, they should have snatched that form back. 0

"A single form shouldn't cause any problems, and she promised not to go out. If we just snatch it away, it would be too obvious," Liu Lianyue replied uncertainly. 0

"Come on, you were already obvious enough! Do you think our President's brain is made of mush?" Yang Xiaoyou exclaimed. Although she hadn't interacted much with Liang Wuxuan, that fellow gave her a very cunning impression. From the performance in Kapa City, it was clear that their abilities were formidable. 0

She wasn't sure whether it was good or bad for her to know about this matter. The good aspect was that it could restrain the violent girl who had turned into a demon; the bad aspect was that she didn't know if she would get dragged into it herself. It seemed she needed to find an opportunity to connect with that President. 0

"Tch, then let's take advantage of her not being far away," Liu Lianyue murmured after hearing this. 0

Feeling the murderous intent radiating from her, Yang Xiaoyou's face turned pale. She hoped this fellow wouldn't always resort to extremes. 0

"Hey, don't do anything reckless. The Common Unity Party hasn't reached that point yet. According to our school's educational philosophy, students who join the Common Unity Party are all above board; it hasn't gotten that bad yet," Yang Xiaoyou quickly advised. 0

Liu Lianyue merely glanced at him expressionlessly before saying softly, "Ordinary students can, but I can't. Those who know my identity..." 0

She paused halfway through while staring at Yang Xiaoyou without saying anything more. 0

"You’re threatening me." Upon hearing this, Yang Xiaoyou felt a surge of panic. He had barely escaped in Shanghai last time, and now trouble had come to school; did he really think his life was too dull? 0

However, facing the current situation, he truly had no good way to deal with it. Silencing her? The commotion caused by silencing would likely be even greater—Duchess's Daughter! Not to mention an important member of the Common Unity Party! Moreover, if he really intended to silence her, he couldn't let the other informed person go either; the implications and consequences were far too significant and completely against his intentions. 0

The calm life he had been leading was about to be disrupted, yet the situation before him seemed to still hold some room for rescue. 0

"Uh, I won't cause any trouble, really, just like the President," Yang Xiaoyou said, drawing a cross over his chest. If he could cover it up, he truly had no intention of causing chaos. 0

"Liang Wuxuan would only suspect that I've joined the Common Unity Party. Even if the worst happens, there's a limit to it, but you can't afford that," Liu Lianyue remarked, seemingly having weighed the pros and cons during this time. She no longer intended to pursue Liang Wuxuan; instead, she looked at Yang Xiaoyou with a peculiar expression on her face. 0

"Well, actually I've admired the Common Unity Party for a long time. Their ideals are quite commendable. However, I believe in resolving issues peacefully and valuing harmony. So while I don't oppose joining the Common Unity Party, I refuse to participate in any violent actions." After a quick mental calculation, Yang Xiaoyou finally made the decision to minimize losses, wearing an expression that seemed almost prophetic. 0

Still, the same old story: although there was suppression within the party, ordinary members on the surface faced relatively few problems. The main suppression targeted those who would create chaos—the Radicals. 0

If he joined the Common Unity Party, he should be able to gain their trust as long as he resolutely avoided participating in Radical activities. That shouldn't pose much of a problem. 0

And if they tried to force him into violent actions, then it wouldn't be his fault. 0

"No problem! Sometimes just helping us brainstorm will do. We won't make you participate in dangerous activities," Liu Lianyue replied with a sly smile after hearing Yang Xiaoyou's words. "From now on, we’re comrades! If anyone bullies you, just let me know." 0

She stood up and casually draped her arm over Yang Xiaoyou's shoulder, giving him a friendly pat. 0

Feeling the smooth touch on his arm and the faint fragrance wafting into his nose, Yang Xiaoyou's heart flickered with something strange. Comrades? This odd relationship as comrades was somewhat intriguing; it didn't seem as bad as he had imagined. 0
