"How could they be together? How did they end up here? His most important matters should be back in their country, and that other fellow..." Yang Xiaoyou thought to himself as he glanced at the combination of an Asian man and a blonde white man, quickly lowering his head to avoid looking further. 0

Yet, despite his quick reaction, the Asian man turned his head sharply, his piercing gaze sweeping over Yang Xiaoyou. 0

"Oh? It's Brother Yang. What a coincidence! Are you here traveling in France? Seeing you safe puts my mind at ease," Luo Guohui said with a hint of surprise upon spotting Yang Xiaoyou, a smile appearing on his face as he approached. 0

Realizing he had been noticed, Yang Xiaoyou no longer felt the need to hide. He put on a somewhat shy smile and replied, "Brother Luo, it's good to see you." 0

If it were just Luo Guohui, Yang Xiaoyou wouldn't mind interacting with him. Despite their differing positions, he still held a great deal of respect for this man who had been both a mentor and a friend in his memories, while also serving as a rival. 0

However, the blonde white man beside him, who wore an inexplicable smile, stirred a deep-seated hostility within Yang Xiaoyou. 0

This was none other than Hank, the one he had encountered during the incident at Overcast Laboratory while searching for Antibodies! 0

Yang Xiaoyou never expected that the fellow who had betrayed his teammates and secretly taken both the virus and Antibodies would still be in their department. Moreover, the janitor responsible for tracking the virus had failed to apprehend him; Hank had successfully concealed everything. 0

This fellow had faced him directly before and knew that he had obtained several samples of the virus and Antibodies. From Hank's eyes, it was clear that he recognized Yang Xiaoyou as the one who had worn a standard police helmet back then. 0

"Hey, Luo, is this the guy who assisted you with your mission? He doesn't look like much," Hank said with narrowed eyes and a smirk as he looked at Yang Xiaoyou before turning back to Luo Guohui. 0

From Hank's tone, it was evident that he did not share the same exclusionary attitude towards Yang Xiaoyou as Luo Guohui's colleagues did in his memories. Due to Luo Guohui's personality and his formidable abilities, Yang Xiaoyou remembered him as quite solitary; most of his mission partners were merely there for the task at hand. 0

Seeing him with that fellow who had stolen the virus was indeed surprising for Yang Xiaoyou. 0

As thoughts raced through his mind, he realized that Hank's pretense of not recognizing him was likely related to their mutual hold over each other's secrets. 0

In comparison, having all of one's affairs exposed might cause some disturbances and troubles, but ultimately the danger does not extend to life itself. 0

However, if the betrayal involving the organization secretly collecting and selling viruses were to be revealed, it wouldn't be as simple as just being dismissed or sentenced. Of course, neither side has substantial evidence, and facing Hank from the Special Operations Department puts one at a disadvantage. 0

While one desires to eliminate the opponent, the opponent likely wishes to silence them as well. Perhaps they covet the few viruses that were reluctantly handed over, making it not entirely impossible for an opportunity to arise. 0

"Hey, is this uncle a friend of Brother Luo? He looks quite strange; have we met somewhere?" Yang Xiaoyou blinked and said. She was indeed concerned about what the other party knew, but she absolutely could not show it; she needed to maintain control of the situation. 0

"My colleague. Even if we have met, it was probably back in Kapa City," Luo Guohui replied. "Hank, you shouldn't underestimate this young man. Although he may not seem very experienced due to his age, his combat talent displayed back then was quite remarkable. His fighting skills are not something just anyone can achieve; he merely lacks practice." 0

"Combat skills, huh?" After rubbing his nose, Hank's smile faded slightly, and his expression became somewhat strange. He had personally experienced the other's combat prowess. While it might be decent, it was still far inferior compared to his own level. Even after three months of diligent training on Yang Xiaoyou's part, without the kind of treacherous environment from their last encounter, she posed no real threat to him. 0

As Yang Xiaoyou pondered whether they had met before, Hank felt an overwhelming urge to take action but suppressed it with difficulty upon recalling the terrifying strength of the humanoid monster beside him. "This fellow must be eliminated." 0

"Luo rarely praises others. Young man, work hard and strive to surpass him," Hank said casually as he patted Yang Xiaoyou on the shoulder with a hearty laugh before turning back to Luo Guohui. "Luo, it's getting late; we should head out." 0

Watching the two depart with a farewell, Yang Xiaoyou stood thoughtfully in place. 0

Given how openly they walked down the street without any attempt at concealment and even greeted her proactively, it seemed unlikely they were on some secret mission; if it wasn't public business, it could very well be a private matter. 0

"Hmm, there’s less than a month until the election results are announced. Coming here at this time..." After watching their figures disappear into the crowd, Yang Xiaoyou smiled playfully and then turned towards a modest yet clean and cozy inn. 0

It seemed she would need to stretch her limbs a bit; first things first—adjusting her body clock and getting into shape. 0

"Hank, do you have some kind of grudge against Brother Yang? Did he provoke you?" Luo Guohui asked casually as they walked away from Yang Xiaoyou. 0

Suddenly hearing such words, Hank revealed a lazy smile and said, "Where's that coming from? It's just a professional hazard." 0

"I hope so. I have other matters to attend to this time, so don't cause me any trouble," Luo Guohui replied, glancing at Hank. 0

Hank wasn't overly concerned about Luo Guohui's warning. To him, the greatest threat from Luo Guohui was his terrifying combat ability. Even if he found out that Hank had secretly killed an inconsequential Outsider, he wouldn't directly attack him over it. 0

If it were reported, Hank wasn't afraid of him; it was just that their mutual interests might lead to some complications. 0

The night in Paris, compared to its romantic and leisurely days, showcased a more passionate and vibrant atmosphere. 0

Adjacent to the thirteenth district of Paris, Montsouris Park was filled with couples. In the corners of the park's lawn, enticing low moans could be heard, enveloping the entire area in a pink haze. 0

Amidst this couple-filled ambiance, a young Asian man seemed to wander aimlessly through the park, digesting his meal. 0

However, as he passed by a secluded thicket, a silver light shot toward his neck. 0

A hint of a smile flashed across Yang Xiaoyou's face as the surrounding space suddenly slowed down completely. 0

Just came to update and now I have to slip away. 0
