"Ahhh, I came here with sincerity, and yet you treat me like this. It's truly despicable!" Fia Haek Media exclaimed, her pent-up frustration finally erupting as she stood at the entrance of the office building's underground parking lot, fists clenched tightly in a fit of rage.
Her subordinates behind her exchanged glances, their expressions turning grave as they observed Yang Xiaoyou and the group emerging behind him. Some of them had already had a taste of confrontation during the previous acquisition incident, and both sides understood that the other was not to be trifled with.
Moreover, at this moment, Yang Xiaoyou's side held an absolute advantage in numbers.
"Sister Fia, HLI is a large enterprise; there's really no need to focus on a company like ours," Yang Xiaoyou replied calmly, looking at the silver-haired girl across from him, who was only slightly older than he was.
"What if I insist on having it?" Fia's expression gradually calmed down, replaced by a strange smile.
As it stood, Hive Security Company and Wasp combined could not compare to HLI Company. If both sides began to clash now, the fledgling structure they had just established would likely be dismantled immediately.
"Then feel free. I'm sure the British Government would be very interested to hear about arms deals supporting the Indian Warlord," Yang Xiaoyou said with a smile, nonchalantly. HLI's foundation lay in Britain; if the British Government developed any negative views about them, it would be quite troublesome for Fia's side.
Upon hearing this, Fia's expression shifted slightly before she quickly donned a nonsensical grin and said, "Oh come on, I was just joking! Since you’re not willing, I won’t force you. But have you considered collaborating with me?"
"Collaboration is certainly possible. In the future, you can have the Free Arms market in India, Australia, and South America; I want Africa, the Middle East, and other countries in Asia," Yang Xiaoyou replied in an exaggerated tone as if they were casually dividing up the Free Arms market without any sincerity.
However, after hearing Yang Xiaoyou's words, Fia Haek Media looked at him with a peculiar gaze, as if her ambitions and desires had been completely seen through by him.
"You seem to know me quite well; I didn't expect my charm to be this great," Fia posed with a hint of narcissism.
"Heh heh, wanting to balance power through arms sales to achieve regional peace is indeed an admirable idea. However, the difficulty of realizing it is beyond imagination," Yang Xiaoyou leaned forward and whispered into her ear in a tone only she could hear.
Then, turning around, he led his group toward the parking area, waving his hand as he walked and saying, "It's settled then. If both sides don't breach the agreement, we can still be friends. But if you fail to uphold your end, don't blame me later."
The Fia Haek Media team, who had been standing still, looked at his retreating figure with a strange expression, seemingly lost in thought after hearing those words.
"What an arrogant fellow, Fia. Should we ask the Dim Councilor to kick them out of France? These days, having a few capable subordinates doesn't mean you can do whatever you want," said the voluptuous One-Eyed Woman with a displeased look on her face.
"For now, let's halt any negative actions against them. Don't act on your own; this fellow is quite troublesome. The cost of confronting them might be more than we can bear," Fia said, lifting her head with a somewhat odd expression.
"Is that it? Those fellows are indeed a bit tough to handle," remarked an older man with a cigarette hanging from his mouth as he observed a cold-faced White Man among Yang Xiaoyou's group.
He had always thought that the people his Boss had recruited were the top elite team, but seeing the number of people behind them made him realize that if they were all on par with those fellows they had faced last time, it would be a terrifying existence beyond their imagination.
Unlike many seasoned veterans in their own ranks, the young faces behind the opponents indicated that they still had room for improvement. This was likely why the Boss felt uneasy and came personally.
"Who said it's over? I intend to win them over with sincerity," Fia Haek Media said with a playful expression on her face.
"Aser, our strengths are still quite disparate. The HLI Company has considerable influence in the upper echelons of England, France, and Germany," Nobunaga Hideyoshi said, his handsome face showing a hint of seriousness as he followed behind Yang Xiaoyou.
"I understand her threat clearly. Without absolute confidence, I won't act against her for now. Don't worry; my earlier words were just to let her know my retaliatory strength. Businesspeople are driven by profit; once she realizes that swallowing our losses outweighs any gains, she won't pursue this line of thought for now. However, we need to speed up our actions. If we don't intervene, she will undoubtedly unify the entire Free Arms World," Yang Xiaoyou said, raising his hand and speaking in a tone that was both serious and self-assured.
His words exuded an air of confidence as if everything was under control. Thanks to Yang Xiaoyou's consistently correct directives, there was an inexplicable glimmer in the eyes of those beside him; they hadn't expected their Boss's ambitions to be so grand.
Yet beneath the helmet, a stiff face twitched involuntarily; as a leader, one must display sufficient confidence in front of subordinates.
"Once the funds are in place, we can start contacting those gaming companies. Moving forward without established upper-level connections can sometimes put us at a disadvantage. This time I saved England's Second Chancellor of the Exchequer; I can use him as a link. But remember, politicians only see interests; don’t expect that my saving him will earn me any significant favors. Hideyoshi, you can go ahead and make arrangements."
After a brief exchange with Yang Xiaoyou, Nobunaga Hideyoshi nodded and left the group with several assistants, getting into a black sedan. Meanwhile, Yang Xiaoyou and Mo Wenfu led others to board two separate business vehicles.
Algeria was originally a French colony, but due to various internal and external issues, it is now completely fragmented under warlords. Once government troops leave the capital, Algiers, they are essentially powerless. The only reason they can maintain control over Algiers is thanks to its geographical location, which allows United Nations peacekeeping forces to be stationed there.
Ninety percent of Algeria's population lives in the coastal areas near the Mediterranean, which is also the most prosperous region. In contrast, the central and southern parts of the country suffer from severe desertification. In such conditions, acquiring a piece of land is relatively easy.
The nominal government in the capital, Algiers, still has the authority to manage those lands, provided that buyers can protect themselves. As for the barren sandy land, as long as one has a certain level of armed force, the surrounding warlords show no interest in interfering.
In the midst of such sandy Gobi-like terrain, there was an area surrounded by military barbed wire, containing several buildings resembling warehouses.
Although it was October and many regions in Africa had entered the rainy season, the high temperatures of this Gobi-like surface still caused the air to shimmer.
At that moment, a visibly modified and somewhat worn S-70 Black Hawk helicopter landed on a makeshift concrete pad within the fenced area, its whirring rotor blades stirring up a cloud of dust.
"Boss, if we had money, shouldn't we upgrade our equipment? I'm worried this thing might break down and crash," Noah complained as he jumped off the helicopter.
"This one cost us several hundred thousand thanks to connections; a new one would set us back over six million dollars. However, it is indeed time to update our gear. Let's leave that planning to Hideyoshi; you should trust your partner's abilities," Yang Xiaoyou replied, watching with satisfaction as a well-organized group emerged from the warehouse and lined up neatly on the helipad.
