Yuying Middle School, located at Aotou Ridge, is surrounded by a largely untouched natural environment, aimed at providing the school with a beautiful setting. At the other end of this modest ridge lies a narrow asphalt road.
However, at this moment, the entire road has been completely sealed off by the police, with warning tape strung across the area near the lower part of the mountain.
The team responsible for monitoring this blockade consists of a mix of fully armed special police and regular officers.
Due to reports from the front lines, everyone involved in the blockade stands ready for any potential threats, their demeanor tense and alert.
Meanwhile, a special operations unit from the military has also gathered in the area. However, upon discovering the presence of militants within, they have refrained from taking any rash actions.
After all, this is still a mountainous region; traversing through here would require considerable time and effort, and such terrain is more prone to ambushes.
"Hmm? Who's there?" The squad leader of the Special Operations Squad was initially focused on a map, gesturing with his subordinates to ensure they could execute their orders swiftly. Yet midway through his explanation, he caught a glimpse of something dark out of the corner of his eye.
His instincts honed through rigorous training compelled him to look over immediately as he shouted out.
However, when he scanned the edge of the blockade area, he found no one there; only leaves rustled quietly on the road, stirred by the autumn breeze.
"Boss, what's wrong? Is someone there?" As members of the Special Operations Squad noticed their leader's sudden alertness, they quickly readied their weapons and prepared for any eventuality.
Seeing the empty street left one soldier puzzled.
Hearing his teammate's question, the squad leader did not respond immediately. Instead, he scrutinized both sides again with a sharp gaze. After confirming there was nothing unusual, he sighed and said, "Maybe I was just overthinking it. Stay sharp; our opponents are likely seasoned mercenaries who have faced real battlefields. We might be at a disadvantage in terms of individual skill."
After finishing his thought, he glanced once more toward the residential area across the road. Something had definitely moved just moments ago.
Meanwhile, leveraging momentum to pivot onto a rooftop was Yang Xiaoyou. Her hands trembled slightly as she expertly retracted her Blade with perfect technique. She then dashed across the eaves at high speed without paying any mind to her precarious position beside her.
Whether she had been detected was irrelevant; her pursuers could not keep up with her. The residents in this area should have already evacuated completely.
As she passed by, aside from Yang Xiaoyou's own movements as she ran and jumped, the entire residential area remained eerily silent.
In two quick strides, she reached the opposite side of the rooftop and leaped onto its edge. Yang Xiaoyou soared into the air, her wrist flicking forward as she launched her Blade from its sheath again into a target ahead. The Silk Thread attached to it pulled her across effortlessly.
On the other side of Yuying Middle School's Conference Building,
"That ungrateful fellow Yang Xiaoyou is really something," Liu Lianyue muttered through gritted teeth as she hid behind a side door, watching two militants chase after students who had escaped ahead.
Although she knew that the best choice for an ordinary student was to compromise, and she could easily accept others' compromises, she still felt a bit irritated by Yang Xiaoyou's unhesitating actions. Even if he had just held on for a moment, it would have been better. Instead, he left without a second thought, despite her constant care for him.

However, at this moment, Liu Lianyue failed to notice that every time she complained about Yang Xiaoyou, a strange expression would flash across Liang Wuxuan's face.
Beside the Royal Academy of Basic Studies, during its later expansion phase, an Artificial Lake was specifically added, creating a beautiful environment.

Then he swiftly moved his hands backward in a powerful motion that stirred up a whirlwind of silver strands in the air. The sharp sound sliced through the atmosphere as four Armed Personnel who were still laughing and unprepared suddenly had their necks burst open in a shower of blood.
Even as they fell to the ground, disbelief lingered in their eyes.
"Not cherishing the only opportunity you had, you can't blame me if you end up dead." After taking a breath to relax her twitching arm, Yang Xiaoyou cast a indifferent glance at the few corpses.
She had rushed at high speed from Yuying Middle School to the Artificial Lake at the Royal Academy of Basic Studies, holding her breath underwater to evade the watchful eyes of Both Sides on Hu An. She had only managed to absorb a small amount of oxygen through her skin while swimming quickly. When she finally surfaced, she felt her weakest.
Having to rely on the equipment on her wrist for an attack was the best option. The intense violent assault she had just executed tested her strength and technique to an alarming degree. After retracting her Blade, Yang Xiaoyou walked slowly toward the campus.
The four corpses left behind were bleeding profusely onto the ground, each drop falling into the lake, gradually dispersing and being diluted by the water, exuding a strange yet overwhelming aura of Slaughter.
