After completing the tasks at hand, Yang Xiaoyou seemed to have shed the guise of the Croupier along with the gloves. He then found a relatively safe spot and collapsed straight onto the ground.
In such an environment, it was incredibly easy to eliminate any suspicion. Without pretending to be unconscious, with his control over his body, he could easily feign death.
Not long after he fell to the ground, Yang Xiaoyou sensed someone sneaking up on him. The figure flipped him over to check his appearance and then tucked him under their arm to carry him away.
It was clearly that guy, Qian Kai.
As he was being flipped over and carried away, Yang Xiaoyou felt a surge of joy. It seemed his luck was good; he had been found right away. Being taken out early had its advantages—he wouldn’t have to worry about stray bullets or being stepped on.
However, just as they reached the door, an unexpected turn of events occurred, causing Qian Kai to toss him aside roughly onto the ground.
Although he had been thrown down, at least he had successfully made it outside. Now everything was going smoothly; he just needed to wait for someone to take him to the hospital and find an appropriate moment to "wake up."
At this moment, lying in the back seat of a car while still maintaining his corpse-like state, Yang Xiaoyou couldn’t help but feel tears streaming down his face. Couldn’t someone tell him this was a divine horse situation?
With his eyes closed, he sensed the vibrations of the car and the commotion outside. In his mind, he simulated the surrounding environment and could roughly gauge what was happening.

Charming Shadow seemed to be trying to contact Shadow of Death but couldn’t reach him. It was unclear what method Fia had used to separate them and successfully keep Shadow of Death occupied until now.
However, since they were apart, relying on Fia’s other strong subordinates would indeed make it difficult to deal with Shadow of Death.
"Hey, how should we handle this fellow?" Gradually, after seemingly shaking off their pursuers and driving into a more remote area, Charming Shadow pulled over and glanced at the figure slumped in the back seat through the rearview mirror.
Hearing that fellow’s muttering, Yang Xiaoyou began to focus his mind. If she intended to abandon him, then he wouldn’t want to stir up trouble unnecessarily. But if she didn’t plan on letting him go, then she could only blame herself.

In this way, Yang Xiaoyou relaxed a lot. Although the surroundings had quieted down significantly, there were still occasional other sounds. If she chose to act now, solving the immediate problem would be easy, but the aftermath would bring a lot of trouble as well.
Just then, she was pulled from the back seat and placed on Charming Shadow’s elastic thigh, which began to tug at Yang Xiaoyou’s cheek.
“You’re quite cute, heh heh. You even look a bit like during the underworld days.” While playing around, Charming Shadow also seemed to indulge in some self-pity.
If she were to suddenly launch a surprise attack now, it could likely end in one strike. However, considering the decision made by her opponent, Yang Xiaoyou chose to wait for her to discard him, adopting a mindset of avoiding unnecessary trouble while allowing her to pinch his cheek.
But gradually, the playful teasing escalated. Yang Xiaoyou, already resting on her lap, felt her ample chest pressing against his face, and a faint scent wafted into his nostrils.
Normally, if faced with such a situation, Yang Xiaoyou would feel flustered. However, this was clearly not a moment for relaxation.
Next, as if merely pinching his cheek wasn’t enough fun, Charming Shadow’s hand slid down towards Yang Xiaoyou’s lower body while mumbling, “I wonder if there will be any reaction while unconscious. Let’s just try it out.”
Upon hearing this, Yang Xiaoyou couldn’t help but feel a wave of frustration wash over him. Suddenly, he exerted force with his arms; his hands moved like agile snakes directly towards Charming Shadow’s chin as if preparing to snap her neck.
However, what should have been a guaranteed strike was dodged effortlessly by her. She crossed her arms and locked Yang Xiaoyou’s attacking arms.
Her elastic thighs intertwined as if preparing to deliver a fatal blow to Yang Xiaoyou’s head.
Lying on his back and sensing the impending danger from behind, Yang Xiaoyou instantly released the constraints on his waist. Using techniques from his back and leveraging the force of Charming Shadow’s leg attack, he sprang up and broke free from her grasp while taking control of the entire passenger seat.
In their first exchange of attacks, neither side gained an advantage. They both fell silent and began to intertwine their arms in an offensive struggle.
The fierce exchange of moves led to the car shaking violently in place as gusts of wind swirled inside, creating howling sounds.
The sound of their hands colliding echoed continuously—“bang bang.”
One missed dodge resulted in the car seat being completely destroyed, with stuffing flying everywhere.
A deflected block sent an attack towards the windshield, shattering it into pieces that sprayed outward.
An upward attack that was blocked caused the car roof to bulge outward in several places with dull metallic thuds.
The battle between them was extremely intense.
Charming Shadow found herself alone, yet she had not lost her edge. In terms of physical fitness and overall strength, she theoretically reached a level that should have been sufficient. In this confined space, her agile techniques were particularly suited to the situation.
Yang Xiaoyou realized that time had not managed to suppress her.
At that moment, Heart was also surprised by how the opponent had discovered him. If he hadn't been prepared in advance, she would have never been able to anticipate his initial ambush.
After exchanging over twenty blows, the interior of the car resembled a wrecked nest. The windshield was shattered, and several bulges appeared on the roof.
Yang Xiaoyou understood that it would be difficult to resolve the situation in such an environment; dragging it out was not a solution. Suddenly, he exerted force with his legs, propelling himself upward with a violent burst of strength that deployed the Airbag. In the end, he clashed with Charming Shadow, both using the momentum to break through the car doors and escape from either side to avoid being trapped by the Airbag.
Both car doors were completely knocked off by their impact.
As soon as they exited the vehicle, Yang Xiaoyou took two steps back into the shadows of the Beside greenbelt, watching the equally shocked woman in front of him with a mix of uncertainty.
Now that they were outside, he felt confident he could take control of the situation. However, they were still in an alleyway. Although it was somewhat secluded, there were still many residential areas nearby. The commotion they had just caused had already drawn some curious heads peeking out from windows; otherwise, they wouldn't have chosen to hide immediately upon exiting.
Both believed they held the rhythm of the encounter, yet they were simultaneously caught off guard by their opponent:
As their composure gradually faded, a sinister thought began to creep into his mind. Someone needed to stop him before it was too late.
