"Ha ha, how did you find me?" Yang Xiaoyou said casually while secretly observing the surroundings. If nothing unexpected had happened, Shadow of Death must have already arrived nearby and used a method that he was unaware of to contact Charming Shadow.
Otherwise, without the other party's buff enhancement, even if he had detected their intentions in advance, it would not have guaranteed that he could evade their attack.
"Well, I was planning to wake you up early in the car to ask some questions. But the bottle cap has been open for so long, and you still haven't moved or shown any signs of pretending. However, she never expected that the other party's strength would surpass her own. If she hadn't discovered it in advance or if the confrontation had taken place in a narrow environment, the consequences would have been dire.

It seems I inadvertently involved you in this; for that, I apologize. I'm truly sorry. How about we call it even?" Seeing the figure shrouded in shadow over there, Charming Shadow understood the other party's concerns and smiled as she spoke.
Noticing the bottle in the other person's hand that seemed to have a strong invigorating effect, Yang Xiaoyou couldn't help but sigh. In a moment of negligence, he had forgotten Charming Shadow's expertise with various supportive reagents.

On Charming Shadow's side, despite being on guard all along, she did not expect the other party to be this fast. What seemed like a sufficient distance for buffering was instantly erased by him.
By the time she reacted, he had already landed on the hood of the car before her and was launching himself toward her with force.
If she tried to dodge at this speed, even if she succeeded, it would expose her to greater risks. At that moment, Charming Shadow put all her effort into adopting a defensive posture while attempting to evade and mitigate his attacking force.
However, as the figure approached her like a leopard ready to strike, an extremely strange aura suddenly erupted from him. It felt as though what was coming at her was not a person but rather a dark curtain enveloping everything around it with dark ribbons emanating outward.
Soon after, even that dark curtain seemed to burn away like paper scattered in flames; the entire figure vanished before her eyes.
Even for Charming Shadow, who had extensive combat experience,
she couldn't help but feel a surge of fear at this situation!
The momentum surged!
And it was a force unlike anything she had ever encountered before!
Just as Charming Shadow sensed that something was amiss and prepared to roll away, exposing an even larger flaw, a figure suddenly appeared in her path like a burst of flames—Yang Xiaoyou.
His arm, still materializing, carried an oppressive weight that pressed against her eardrums as it swung toward Charming Shadow.
What had initially been only half-visible now rapidly emerged from below as he swung his arm upward.
She had intended to evade based on instinct, but never expected to collide directly with his attack. At that moment, Charming Shadow, having exhausted her momentum, could only awkwardly raise her hand for the simplest form of defense. Her posture and the blocking motion were both extremely strained, and she couldn't fully exert her strength.
In this situation, when Yang Xiaoyou's ferocious strike hit her, the point of contact erupted with a visible ripple of air.
Charming Shadow was sent flying like a broken kite, spinning as she soared outward, crashing into a mailbox before slamming against the wall behind it. The tremendous force caused the wall to tremble and shed some dust.
After executing this attack, Yang Xiaoyou did not pursue further. Instead, he leaned slightly back and entered the extreme mode of Cognitive Acceleration. The surroundings instantly slowed down significantly, while a dull sound emerged from a nearby shadow.
A bullet spiraled through the air, grazing Yang Xiaoyou's neck as he tilted his head back. It left a bloody mark on his chin before striking the rear door of a junked car, creating a starburst-shaped bullet hole.
This first shot acted like a trigger; soon after, a series of gunfire erupted from the shadows, revealing flashes of gun muzzles.
However, aside from the initial shot that marked Yang Xiaoyou due to his attack, once he dodged the first assault, he slipped back into an indistinct state. The subsequent bullets passed through Yang Xiaoyou's fading figure until it gradually vanished from the sight of Shadow of Death, who had been providing support.
"What a troublesome force!" Seeing this state unfold, Shadow of Death, who had been lurking in the shadows, stepped out with an extremely grave expression.
The two of them together feared no one. Yet their opponent had unleashed an explosive power beyond human limits and severely injured Charming Shadow. Now facing this inhuman beast alone was daunting.
Even though the situation seemed to favor him now, Yang Xiaoyou still did not wish to waste time clashing head-on with his opponent. His recent near-limit-breaking bursts had yielded remarkable results but also placed considerable strain on his body.
Seizing the brief interval created by his explosive momentum and taking advantage of his opponent's hesitation, Yang Xiaoyou quickly leaped to Charming Shadow's side and grabbed her by the throat, lifting her up directly.
With the cost of nearly tearing a ligament in her left arm, she unleashed a powerful attack that instantly stripped Charming Shadow of her combat ability. At that moment, all she could do was weakly clasp Yang Xiaoyou's hands with her own, unable to muster any further resistance.
"Stop!" Shadow of Death, witnessing this state, felt his blood boil. His eyes turned red in an instant as he shouted, simultaneously pulling out a strange test tube and positioning it horizontally in front of himself.
Originally, Yang Xiaoyou intended for him to disable his own hands and then answer a few questions. Given his understanding of the relationship between the two, Shadow of Death would surely comply with his commands.
However, when Yang Xiaoyou caught sight of the Tempered Test Tube in his hand, his pupils involuntarily constricted.
"Where did you get that?" Yang Xiaoyou asked in a calm yet undeniable tone, tightening his grip slightly, causing Charming Shadow to emit a whimper of pain.
Shadow of Death, who had initially planned to stand firm, immediately softened upon realizing that his opponent showed no signs of letting up. "This is from a temporary mission we received."
"I asked where it came from." Without waiting for clarification, Yang Xiaoyou reiterated calmly. He knew exactly what it was; he could never mistake the markings on such a specialized test tube.
It was either one of the thirteen Original Viruses or their mutated versions. But how could such a thing end up in Shadow of Death's hands?
"This was obtained during another mission we were assigned. Although we were instructed to deliver it at all costs, the mission itself means nothing to me. If Charming Shadow dies, I’ll go there to accompany her. If the virus is released, who knows? We might have a chance to reunite," Shadow of Death said, completely resigned.
