Chapter 107: Rest Point
"It's fine." After taking a deep breath, Yang Xiaoyou delivered the final blow to the two Lickers on the ground, who were not quite dead yet, and turned to Charming Shadow, who was struggling to stand up beside her.
This time had indeed been exceptionally dangerous; any oversight could have led to an irreversible fatal situation. Although it seemed like they resolved things quickly, it was achieved through high-risk combat methods. A slight misstep could have resulted in disaster.

Meanwhile, several people stood there dumbfounded, watching the scene unfold as if it were a movie. Their expressions were filled with astonishment as they witnessed the two humans engage in combat with those terrifyingly muscular creatures and successfully take down four of them!
Were these two really human?
Huang Wei sat on the ground, his legs trembling in shock as he stared at the scene. He and other members of the FFF Group, including Heart, shared the same thought: "Is this really the Yang Xiaoyou we've always known?"
Chen Wuyou's expression was somewhat better, but she couldn't hide her astonishment either. Although their attacks appeared simple and clean-cut, the difficulty involved was far from what it seemed.
When Yang Xiaoyou had dealt with those two Corpses earlier, Chen Wuyou had compared her abilities with Chen Hao's. If anyone remained calm and composed at that moment, it would likely be Dream Butterfly. She showed no significant reaction to the external changes around her; everything seemed perfectly normal in her eyes.
As Yang Xiaoyou helped Charming Shadow walk over, she glanced at the others around them. Exposing their pure combat abilities in front of those who didn't understand didn't seem like a big deal after all.
They couldn't fully grasp the level represented by such abilities; they could only make some abstract interpretations through their eyes. Given their family background, it wasn't too much of an issue.
However, after glancing at the others, Yang Xiaoyou narrowed her eyes and stared at Dream Butterfly for a while. Just moments ago, she had managed to spot that blind spot where the Licker was hiding even before Yang Xiaoyou did. This was truly remarkable.

It seemed she was stranger than Yang Xiaoyou had initially imagined.
Now that they were all in the same boat, after observing Dream Butterfly for a moment longer, Yang Xiaoyou decided not to dwell on it. She handed Charming Shadow over to Chen Wuyou for support and relaxed her body a bit before continuing to lead the group forward.
The first designated rest point was approaching. When they first planned this rest stop, Yang Xiaoyou hadn’t expected it would actually be utilized. Initially, they had intended to reach the next point directly before taking a break, but now it was clear that everyone, including herself, needed to rest properly.

"However, sigh," Lin Min looked at the words of the police chief in front of him and couldn't help but let out a sigh. It was indeed the truth; however, he had to stop the crime happening right before his eyes as long as he had the ability to do so.
This time, he was dispatched to investigate a case of international smuggling because he understood Japanese. It seemed like he was being reused due to his previous achievements, but with only a few people to talk to and no cooperation, this dispatch felt more like exile or a business trip with a government passport.
Not only that, but when he arrived in Tokyo, he unexpectedly encountered this Virus Incident, which was on a scale that could not be compared to the previous virus outbreak back home. The entire Tokyo seemed to have completely fallen.
He felt somewhat helpless regarding some of the legal regulations here.
