Because of this formidable presence, they successfully led the Chinese representative team participating in the competition from their collapsed hotel to this abandoned subway station still under construction.
However, it was evident that they had suffered significant casualties along the way or at the onset of the chaos. The number of representatives was now less than half of what it originally was. Aside from the fellow who spoke fluent Japanese leading them and Zhu Qibiao, none of the other team members were seen.
The number of students had also drastically decreased. Among Qian Kai’s remaining mercenaries, only one was left. Additionally, two stretchers were being carried by students, with two individuals lying on top of them.

At that moment, both of them appeared to be in a state of low fever, looking quite unstable. However, it seemed that their condition was not merely due to an ordinary infection.

Then she noticed a group of shady figures huddled together with a plump individual sleeping at some distance away. With that, she gathered strength in her legs and leaped toward that direction using the ticket booth as leverage.
