Chapter 119: Encounter
The dagger in her hand sliced through the air, and after pushing off the ticket booth with her legs, a cold glint flashed across Weimar's face. This group of fellows actually dared to let Fia see such a scene; they had to be dealt with.
However, just as she was suspended in mid-air, about to reach the optimal distance to launch a fierce attack on the group of fellows who were sleeping like pigs, a sudden chill ran down her spine. An overwhelming sense of danger enveloped her entire body.
Forgetting about the attack, Weimar forcefully twisted her body in mid-air, altering her trajectory and descending instead.
Once she landed, she spotted several others sitting in the blind spot behind another machine. Among them was a familiar-looking boy, soft and lacking any semblance of masculinity, casually pointing a handgun at her.
Although the expression on his face seemed indifferent, Weimar felt an intense sense of danger. A civilian holding a gun at this distance could not possibly exert this kind of pressure unless they were an exceptional special forces soldier or mercenary.
Realizing this, a flicker of surprise crossed her single eye. Initially, she couldn't discern anything unusual about him. If he had malicious intent towards Fia...
But seeing his current nonchalant demeanor and lack of intent to fire, Weimar could roughly conclude that he seemed uninterested in a direct confrontation; he merely wanted to stop her attack.
Seeing that it was this fellow made Yang Xiaoyou display a deadpan expression. How did she end up here?
If she remembered correctly, both she and Fia should have been staying at the hotel she had booked. That location was much closer than her journey from Akihabara, making this unexpected encounter quite surprising.
Since she was here, it was evident that the Silver-Haired Princess must also be nearby, and it seemed there were more people arriving than just them.
Realizing the situation, Yang Xiaoyou holstered her gun and began fiddling with her homemade silencer to maintain stability.
"Weimar, what's wrong?" Fia asked, surprised to see her subordinate suddenly adopt a wary expression.
She first glanced curiously at the two women on the ground before turning her attention back to Weimar.
Meanwhile, Qian Kai wore a vigilant expression. Although he found that crazy woman unpleasant, their previous encounter had made it clear that her strength was likely above his own.
If she could provoke Weimar's vigilance, it probably wasn't a trivial matter.
"I saw a few people who shouldn't be here," Weimar replied with a cruel smile creeping onto her face. After licking her enticing lips, she couldn't help but glance at Yang Xiaoyou with her remaining eye.
Although Yang Xiaoyou was focused on wiping down her handgun, being scrutinized by that gaze made her feel uneasy. She had indeed planned to gradually reveal her identity as a mercenary, but being targeted by such a strange fellow was not ideal.
"Although those fellows are somewhat pathetic, given their courage, they wouldn't do what you think they might," Yang Xiaoyou said calmly.
Their voices stirred the nearby people awake.
Charming Shadow, who had been sleeping nearby, looked up and exchanged a glance with Weimar, both of them tensing simultaneously.
“It’s you!” Weimar seemed unable to suppress the urge to rush forward, but upon seeing Yang Xiaoyou’s gun pointed vaguely in their direction, he forced himself to hold back.

“Did you discover someone? I thought I heard the voice of that Sister Killer,” Fia finally emerged from behind the machine with the others.
Initially, Qian Kai felt relieved upon seeing several familiar fellows on the ground, but then his brow furrowed.
“Hey, it really is her. She seems injured. Well then…” Fia peeked out and spotted Charming Shadow, a mischievous smile spreading across her face.
“Eh? Yang Xiaoyou is here too. Who are the other two? How did you all end up together?” After noticing Yang Xiaoyou, she displayed a puzzled expression.
“Don’t come any closer; this kid is dangerous,” Weimar quickly warned Fia against approaching while keeping a close watch on Yang Xiaoyou’s obviously modified firearm.
“Hey, your shocked reaction just now was because of the gun in his hand, right? Tsk tsk, has the trauma from the battlefield made you this jumpy?” Qian Kai chimed in sarcastically as he walked over.
“Hmph!” In response to Qian Kai's taunt, Weimar merely snorted coldly without relaxing his vigilance towards Yang Xiaoyou.
However, Qian Kai soon noticed something was off.
He observed that several bodies in another area had fallen in a peculiar manner; all were shot in the forehead. While being shot in the forehead wasn’t unusual, the positions of the bodies suggested they had been shot almost simultaneously by someone from one direction. Yet here stood only one student who should have been under their protection with a handgun.
Meanwhile, Nobunaga Hideyoshi had finished arranging for Lucas and Fein to lead the group from the school to another area and stepped forward slightly late.
“Don’t be nervous; these are our external members. As for Ming Mei Shuang Ying, they pose no threat to you now. It seems that Revenant's control over them was destroyed in an explosion, so they have defected from Revenant—this happened after your last operation against them,” Nobunaga Hideyoshi said casually with a smile.
Whether they believed him was their concern; he had provided an explanation regardless.
“How could it be so coincidental? Hmph, you’re not in cahoots with Revenant, are you?” Weimar appeared somewhat irritated upon hearing this explanation.
But then Fia raised her hand to stop him. “Although he might be hiding something, it’s probably still true. We currently share common interests; killing me wouldn’t benefit them. Besides, if they really wanted to do something to me, they could have acted back then.”
"Indeed, Sister Fia understands the situation," Nobunaga Hideyoshi praised at that moment.
"However, I really didn't expect that this Foodie is also part of your group. Hmm, everyone in your team must have their own Specialty, right? So what is he? Eating?" Fia said with a curious expression as she circled around Yang Xiaoyou, resting her chin on her hand.
"What do you think, Brother Yang? We seem to have a connection. How about joining our company? The benefits are great, and that Sister Killer too—I won't hold your past actions against you," she continued, revealing her intentions as she openly tried to poach Yang Xiaoyou.
Qian Kai, who overheard this conversation, looked at Yang Xiaoyou with a strange expression. As a Mercenary himself, he wasn't surprised by the identity but was astonished by how well this fellow seemed to hide it. "Is shooting your Specialty? Indeed, if you don't carry a gun, it's hard to tell. Incredible, the youth of today," he thought, feeling a sense of nostalgia for his own age.
Meanwhile, Chen Wuyou and Dream Butterfly, who had just woken up, were silent in the face of the scene before them. Upon learning that Nobunaga Hideyoshi and Yang Xiaoyou were members of a Mercenary group, Chen Wuyou felt somewhat relieved about Yang Xiaoyou's actions along the way. After all, she herself lacked strength and found it hard to believe that someone involved in such a mysterious profession as Mercenaries could make everything that seemed unreasonable suddenly seem possible.
