Chapter 122: Departure
Once Dream Butterfly's identity was discovered, a wave of chaos erupted among the students, who had been tense and exhausted until that moment.
This young idol, who had only debuted a few months ago, had quickly gained fame across China, Korea, and Japan, and even among these non-otaku students, she had garnered quite a bit of popularity.
There were a few loyal fans present, and even in this environment, they could not hide the excitement in their eyes.

So far, she had only released albums and done some endorsements; this was her first fan meeting. The fact that she had gained such popularity left Yang Xiaoyou feeling somewhat speechless.
"Hey, you guys probably don’t know this, but we were the ones who rescued Dream Butterfly Sister back then," Huang Wei, this fellow, suddenly became excited as he found his audience and began recounting his 'glorious deeds.'
Following Yang Xiaoyou all the way here, he had been on edge about possibly being a target. But now, in this environment, he felt much safer.
Moreover, Lucas and Qian Kai had fought publicly once before. From his perspective, those two should be stronger than Yang Xiaoyou.
Meanwhile, Yang Xiaoyou showed no reaction to Huang Wei's boasting; this fellow's personality was just like that.
But this personality had its advantages. After being used as a stepping stone by Zhao Liang, the aura of superiority he had built up over time was completely shattered.
Now most people knew about this fellow's character. In such circumstances, even if he claimed to be a Mercenary Clouds outside, no one would believe him. Instead, he could help create some smoke screens.
Two unstable factors within the team had died one after another, completely releasing the ticking time bomb. Just now, his move to fend off that Zombie looked pretty impressive," one student remarked as the atmosphere began to relax slightly. To distract themselves from their original fears, the students started shifting their focus. Besides Dream Butterfly, Yang Xiaoyou, who they recognized but stood beside Dream Butterfly, also became a topic of discussion.
"Come on, look at that Zombie's slow movements. If it were me, I could easily take it down. It's probably just a disabled Zombie," another student retorted, feeling somewhat unconvinced and arguing back.
Faced with this chaotic scene, Yang Xiaoyou rolled her eyes. Thankfully, they were underground; otherwise, who knew what strange things might come their way if they were above ground.
While surveying the group of students, Yang Xiaoyou caught a glimpse of Fia, who had been staring at her ever since Weimar had subdued her.
The unsettling feeling of being devoured made Yang Xiaoyou wonder if this fellow had been infected.
Fortunately, Nobunaga Hideyoshi was intentionally or unintentionally standing in between them, alleviating some of the pressure. In this situation, Fia could only watch hungrily without being able to take any real action.
"Alright, for now, this place is still safe. Everyone should take the opportunity to rest a bit. Fia sister, what are your plans next?" Nobunaga Hideyoshi reminded everyone before turning to Fia.
Although Yang Xiaoyou was right there, Nobunaga Hideyoshi certainly wouldn’t show any outward respect toward her; otherwise, it would definitely alert that cunning fox. To Nobunaga Hideyoshi's eyes, Yang Xiaoyou seemed like a true outsider member whose status was even lower than Lucas and the others.
Meanwhile, Lucas and Fein were slightly surprised to learn that the student in front of them was also from the company. They approached him to strike up a conversation.
Yang Xiaoyou was more than happy to mind her own business. She trusted Fia's abilities greatly; even though Fia wasn't very familiar with Corpses, Nobunaga Hideyoshi had already given her plenty of warnings about certain behavioral aspects.
Now it seemed all she needed to do was chat with Lucas and the others.

Meanwhile, Fia, Nobunaga Hideyoshi, and Qian Kai appeared to be discussing their next course of action.

At this moment, Fein was also a bit chatty, seemingly interested in the new member who was around the same age as him.
“Let’s all take a break. We’ll set off early tomorrow morning. The No. 3 subway line leads to Tokyo Port, and we’ll use the Waterway to leave then.” The results from Nobunaga Hideyoshi had come in, and he approached to greet Lucas and the others.

From the eerie sounds that echoed below, it was clear that their numbers were alarmingly high.
However, after this wave of Horde passed, it indicated that the area they were heading towards would likely have fewer Corpse, which was good news.
As Second began preparing to depart, the two unfortunate women who had been unconscious since the beginning finally woke up.
Unfortunately, their injuries were too severe for them to walk on their own. In this situation, several leaders, including Fia, decisively abandoned them.
With no ties or connections, no one was willing to increase their own risk by carrying two strangers.
All they could do was leave some food behind and see if they could hold out until help arrived.
Due to maintenance work, the unlit subway tunnel felt somewhat eerie and terrifying at this moment.
The damp air had condensed tiny droplets of water on the ceiling, which occasionally dripped down.
In this dark and damp environment, several beams of light were moving continuously, accompanied by a cacophony of sounds drawing closer from afar.
"The next stop is Tokyo Bay Platform. We will take a brief break there and scout the situation outside to formulate our next plan," Qian Kai encouraged the team behind him as the faint light ahead revealed their surroundings.
Upon hearing this, the students, who had been feeling anxious in the gloomy atmosphere, let out a collective sigh of relief.
Only Yang Xiaoyou, who was also mingling among the crowd, couldn't help but curl her lip. Although the conditions along the way had been somewhat poor, in terms of safety, this segment of the journey was far more secure than what lay ahead when they boarded the ship.
There was nothing to worry about during this leg of the trip; everything had been meticulously planned by the few fellows in front. It allowed Yang Xiaoyou to enjoy one of the most relaxed moments since the outbreak began. Indeed, it was nice to find shade under a big tree.
This atmosphere was driving her crazy. Sighing, she lamented her allergies—either she couldn't sneeze at all or she sneezed continuously, wiping away her tears.
