"Are we really leaving now?" 0

"Yeah, it's fine. I'll avoid them." By around three or four in the early morning, Yang Xiaoyou's overall injuries had stabilized. 0

At the very least, she could ensure that ordinary activities wouldn't worsen her condition. However, if she wanted to engage in any intense movements, it was best not to think about it. Any issues with her already fractured bones, torn muscles and ligaments, or internal injuries could lead to serious consequences. 0

During these quiet moments of rest, Yang Xiaoyou also took the opportunity to digest some of the gains from her recent battle with Luo Guohui. 0

Indeed, she had only left a symbolic mark on her opponent while suffering severe injuries at the hands of that psychopath. In retrospect, she had taken quite a hit. 0

Yet this reckless fight, where she pushed her body to its limits without any reservations, had proven to be significantly beneficial for her. 0

If Feng Lin's battles had helped her get accustomed to this level of attack, this experience was truly invaluable. 0

Killing a hundred opponents weaker than herself couldn't compare to this one brush with death. 0

Under the extreme pressure exerted by Luo Guohui, the merging of her inner persona with herself became even more pronounced. The Memory Fragments that had been integrating into her body were directly compressed as well. 0

Once her body naturally recovered, she would take another step forward. 0

Of course, this time the recovery period might be a bit longer. 0

In the early morning hours around three or four, even in a sleepless city like Sh City, there was a brief moment of calm. At the train station entrance, only a few travelers were coming and going. 0

The vendors selling pastries seemed to have gone to rest as well. 0

"Tsk tsk, they still have people watching. Looks like they've been at it for more than just once or twice; they seem quite experienced." Moving through the shadows and casually weaving through several blind spots, Yang Xiaoyou couldn't help but shake her head. 0

Although that group of watchers seemed skilled, if she couldn't evade such amateur observers, then she would have already been done for back in Algeria. 0

If his body was still in good condition, he wouldn't mind having a 'theoretical' discussion with this group of people. However, for now, he didn't want to risk falling apart; adding more injuries made no sense at all. 0

With that thought in mind, after locking onto those peculiar gazes for a moment, Yang Xiaoyou took advantage of a wave of passengers exiting the train station to weave his way to the entrance. He moved through the crowd like a fish in water, neither standing out nor drawing attention, naturally using the surrounding travelers to shield himself from those stares. 0

However, just as Yang Xiaoyou reached the entrance and was about to step inside, he wrinkled his nose as that sweet and greasy scent wafted back to him, causing saliva to automatically pool in his mouth. 0

He took a slight step towards the side and slipped behind a pillar. Yang Xiaoyou glanced over and noticed several tricycles casually left at the station entrance. Aside from two locks, there was no one guarding those expensive 'luxury items.' 0

After eyeing those sugary treats, Yang Xiaoyou quickly calculated their positions in his mind and simulated the environment around them. Once he had a mental image, he stealthily approached and jumped onto one of the tricycles, squatting down to start munching away. 0

"That brat Nigati! This time I absolutely cannot let him off so easily. Huh? What’s that sound?" A somewhat grumpy vendor who had just finished using the restroom heard some unsettling crunching noises nearby. In this environment, it felt eerily ominous. 0

Nevertheless, he mustered his courage and crept over to investigate. Peeking out, he spotted a figure hunched over on one of the tricycles, continuously gnawing on something. Bits of crumbs flew around him as he chewed, which startled the vendor into a panic. 0

The figure devouring something seemed to have heard the noise behind him as well. He paused his actions and slowly turned his head like a rabbit. The crimson glint in his eyes from the shadows resembled that of a demon from hell. 0

Especially when he crushed a fist-sized piece of hard pastry between his jaws like a guillotine, scattering crumbs everywhere. The original owner of those pastries was so frightened that he stumbled backward while screaming and fled into the distance. 0

"How bold! This is going to cause me some trouble." After finishing chewing and swallowing what was in his mouth, Yang Xiaoyou felt somewhat speechless. However, this nutritional snack certainly lived up to his expectations; its high concentration and sugar content meant that consuming this large piece would provide enough energy for recovery for quite some time. 0

But now that he had been discovered, although there were still some left here, he definitely didn't have time to finish them all. After stretching his limbs a bit, Yang Xiaoyou slipped into the train station and caught the earliest train. 0

Leaning against the window and watching as dawn began to break outside, Yang Xiaoyou yawned after having just eaten a hearty meal. Enjoying the air conditioning on the train, he drifted off to sleep but felt like he had forgotten something before fully succumbing to slumber. 0

Meanwhile, on the Su-Hu Expressway, a modified large truck steadily drove forward. In its cargo area were several piglets, filling the air with a pungent smell of manure and feed. 0

Amongst these snowy white piglets crouched several dirty figures in one corner. "That bastard Yang Xiaoyou!!!" Huang Wei looked at the curious piglets staring at him with an expression of despair; all his money had been spent on vices, and now he had to sneak onto this kind of vehicle. 0

Just as he finished complaining aloud, that overwhelming stench made him retch again, causing those nearby to instinctively move away. Only one piglet remained unfazed by him and even came over to lick his face. 0

"Ouch!" After Feng Lin pressed down hard on him several times, Yang Xiaoyou could no longer endure that fiery tearing sensation; this girl was definitely doing it on purpose. 0

Although Feng Lin showed no emotion on her face, Yang Xiaoyou sensed a hint of irritation emanating from her—whether she was angry at him for taking risks or upset that someone had beaten him up like this was unclear. 0

It was just this time at the Monsoon Shrine. Originally planning to go to school, Feng Lin saw Yang Xiaoyou in such a state and decided to skip class to help him tend to his wounds. This made Yang Xiaoyou feel warm inside, even briefly thinking that perhaps getting hurt occasionally wasn't so bad after all. 0

However, this somewhat inclined thought was quickly dismissed from his mind. How could he possibly be a pervert? It was all Huang Wei's fault. 0

Just as he connected the thought of Huang Wei, Yang Xiaoyou realized something felt off. But the increased pressure from Feng Lin's hands brought him back to reality, making him once again experience the painful yet oddly pleasurable sensation of being bandaged. 0

"That's enough. Lin, you should head to school first. I'll just lie down for a bit. Don't leave a bad impression on others by skipping class for no reason," he said, feeling a refreshing coolness where the ointment had been applied. The pain had subsided, replaced by a comfortable sense of relief that made Yang Xiaoyou's eyelids feel heavy. He then spoke to Feng Lin beside him. 0

"It's fine," came her flat, emotionless voice, like a clear spring water that slightly cleared Yang Xiaoyou's mind. He glanced at the girl kneeling on the ground, organizing the ointments—she seemed out of place in this dimension, and Yang Xiaoyou couldn't help but sigh inwardly. 0

For her, it seemed that as long as she had these few people in her world, she could be easily satisfied. Yet the more he thought about it, the more uncomfortable he felt inside. 0

After she left the room with the ointment and basin, a small creature hiding in Yang Xiaoyou's shoe slipped out. It held a piece of hard biscuit in its front paws and began nibbling on it in front of Yang Xiaoyou while curiously gazing at its motionless master. 0

This slippery fellow had originally been with his Nokia phone, but its uncanny ability to avoid danger was remarkable. It had somehow managed to burrow into his shoe. This phenomenon had occurred many times before when he took it out for "business," leaving Yang Xiaoyou at a loss for words to describe it! 0
