"Ha? After what happened last time, there's still a School Trip? I'm not going this time; you can give my spot to someone else." Yang Xiaoyou yawned while lying on the desk, sounding utterly unenthusiastic.
Although he had replenished a lot of nutrients and energy, his recovery was still somewhat strange, and he appeared to lack spirit.
"I can't just wipe the slate clean and pretend it didn't happen. I helped you out last time," Liang Wuxuan said, propping himself up on the table and looking at the slumped Yang Xiaoyou with a tone that was almost pitiful, as if Yang Xiaoyou had done something truly hurtful.
On the other side, Liu Lianyue, who had been using her lunch break to cram for studies, perked up at the mention of "wiping the slate clean" and glanced over at the two with a puzzled expression.
"Well, you did help me out, but you also threw me out to face the storm. Let's call it even," Yang Xiaoyou replied with a huff, recalling how she had helped him out of a tight spot with the police. He then pulled out a piece of chocolate and popped it into his mouth.
"Oh come on, that's not what I meant. You know what I'm talking about," Liang Wuxuan said with a mischievous grin, crossing his arms and leaning back in his chair with a devilish look aimed at Yang Xiaoyou.
"Huh?" Hearing this caught Yang Xiaoyou off guard for a moment. But soon he felt a slight pressure between his legs and looked down to find a pair of bare feet clad in black stockings rubbing against him from under the table.
In an instant, he nearly spat out what was in his mouth and started coughing uncontrollably.
"President, my health isn't great; don't mess with me," Yang Xiaoyou said. Although waves of inexplicable pleasure and stimulation coursed through him, he was well aware of his current physical condition and knew he needed to avoid excessive excitement.
"So will you agree to go?" Liang Wuxuan asked playfully while continuing her teasing actions, her alluring expression making it hard to resist.
"Where are you planning to go first?" Feeling somewhat exasperated at letting this Demoness take control, Yang Xiaoyou rolled his eyes but then leaned back in his chair. He let his hands drop down and grabbed one of her delicate feet, starting to tickle it through the stockings with his other hand.
There was no reason for her to be the only one teasing him; since she had come right to him, he was ready for whatever bait came his way.
As her sensitive spot was unexpectedly attacked, Liang Wuxuan shivered slightly. She crossed her fingers and leaned on the table, covering her face with her hands to hide her expression.
"That's quite an unexpected counterattack," she said. True to her nature as a Demoness, although her voice trembled slightly, Liu Lianyue sitting nearby noticed nothing amiss.
"Is that so? Then go ahead and confess," Yang Xiaoyou said casually as he leaned back in his chair, his hands continuing to play with her soft foot, occasionally pressing lightly or firmly on the sole.
However, before Liang Wuxuan could respond, Yang Xiaoyou's ears perked up slightly. He quickly released her leg with gentle force and pushed her teasing leg away.
Just as Yang Xiaoyou had just returned everything to its place, the door to the Activity Room was knocked twice in a symbolic manner. The person outside casually asked, "Is anyone there? I'm coming in," before directly turning the handle and pushing the door open. Since Liang Wuxuan, the Demoness who disliked knocking, often frequented this place, and given its secluded nature, they never bothered to lock the door when someone was inside. Thus, the newcomer easily opened the door and walked in.
He was not exactly handsome but exuded a rugged masculinity, radiating a strong sense of male charm.
"President, I'm here to discuss this matter with you," the young man said upon seeing the three inside. He completely ignored Yang Xiaoyou, gave a brief glance at Liu Lianyue, who was diligently studying, and then focused his attention on Liang Wuxuan.
However, before he could finish, Liang Wuxuan, who was leaning on the table with her expression obscured by her hands, coldly replied, "Did no one teach you to seek permission before entering?"
If it had been anyone else saying this, it wouldn't have mattered much. But hearing it from Liang Wuxuan—who had never knocked before—made Yang Xiaoyou chuckle lightly despite herself.
Caught off guard by Liang Wuxuan's assertive retort, Li Xiao felt a wave of pressure that left him momentarily speechless. He then turned his ire toward his fellow who seemed to be enjoying his discomfort.
"What? Do you have an issue with me? I know you recognize me. What’s wrong? Want to take revenge for your little friends?" His words dripped with provocation.
Yang Xiaoyou, initially taken aback by Liang Wuxuan's hypocritical stance, now found herself baffled by her fellow's insistence on taking offense.
"Um," she began, scrutinizing the newcomer with a frown.
Seeing Yang Xiaoyou's expression of embarrassment made Li Xiao feel slightly relieved from his earlier discomfort.
But before he could say anything more, Yang Xiaoyou blurted out, "Uh, who are you?" This question struck deep and wounded him.
Yang Xiaoyou also felt something was off about this fellow; did he really think they were acquainted? Who was he?
With Yang Xiaoyou's seemingly casual remark stepping on his sore spot, it seemed like he might explode. Meanwhile, Liang Wuxuan spoke up again.
Feeling her authority challenged, her previously stable demeanor erupted with intensity as she directed her words at the charming young man. "Who allowed you to come into someone else's club and disrespect other members? Get out."
Liang Wuxuan usually didn’t take her student council duties seriously; she had previously left everything to that deadbeat Sun Jun and rarely showed her displeasure outwardly. This situation genuinely caught Li Xiao off guard.
Though he had prepared to explain himself, upon seeing Liang Wuxuan’s side profile with only one eye visible, he found himself at a loss for words. His face alternated between shades of blue and white until he finally shot a fierce glare at Yang Xiaoyou and stormed out of the clubroom.
"I can't shake the feeling that he holds a grudge against me. Who is this guy, anyway? It's so baffling," Yang Xiaoyou said, somewhat at a loss as she turned to Liang Wuxuan for clarification.
"The president of the Martial Arts Club. He never joined the student council before and has always been a thorn in everyone's side, even Sun Jun couldn't handle him. Recently, though, he's suddenly become cooperative. By the way, weren't you asking about the destination for this School Trip? It's being funded by his family, and we're heading to Dubai," Liang Wuxuan replied, returning to her usual demeanor with a hint of amusement directed at Yang Xiaoyou.
She seemed quite interested in the trouble Yang Xiaoyou was facing.
"The president of the Martial Arts Club? Oh, it's him," Yang Xiaoyou said after rummaging through her memories. She recalled some conversations she had with Huang Wei that mentioned him.
According to what Huang Wei had told her, this fellow was the one spreading rumors about her outside, and it seemed he had some conflicts with Huang Wei and his group.
At that time, knowing what kind of people Huang Wei and his friends were, she had ignored it all as mere gossip. Now it appeared that this fellow was indeed quite annoying.
"Tsk tsk, a strange tourist destination where public displays of affection and drinking could get you in trouble—it's in the Middle East?" Upon hearing the destination, Yang Xiaoyou felt slightly surprised. Choosing such an expensive place for a training trip would require a significant budget.
No wonder this fellow had such an arrogant attitude. Liang Wuxuan had even kicked this sponsor out, which showed her own confidence.
"Well, I could consider going there, but I don't really like being part of a group all the time. Will there be enough personal time?" Yang Xiaoyou pondered aloud.
"Of course! However, any personal expenses will need to be covered by yourself. So does that mean you agree?"
