"Hey, our Hive Security Company has quite an influence here, right? Let's get things moving," said Fia, who sighed after hanging up the phone and turned her attention to Yang Xiaoyou.
"Sorry, I can't help you with that. Um, I need to step out for a moment." Yang Xiaoyou responded casually to the Silver-Haired Princess, his mind clearly elsewhere.
Meanwhile, Charming Shadow noticed some commotion outside and had her suspicions about what was happening with Heart.
"Do you want me to go with you?" As the dedicated maid, Charming Shadow asked, even though she wasn't in her usual attire.
"You stay here and take care of these two. It's not a matter for Force to resolve, and we don't want to leave any loose ends." After a moment's hesitation, Yang Xiaoyou declined her offer.
If he sent Charming Shadow out and nothing happened, it would be pointless. But if a conflict did arise, while she could easily handle the team leader with her skills, they were outnumbered. The others weren't pushovers either; a real confrontation wouldn't end well.
With that, Yang Xiaoyou opened the door and stepped outside.

This mission involved the reputation of Hive Security, so retreating wasn't an option. At the same time, Yang Xiaoyou didn't want to escalate tensions too much; completely severing ties wouldn't benefit either party.
Healthy competition that drives mutual improvement is a win-win scenario, but malicious competition filled with underhanded tactics harms both sides.
"What is he going out for?" Fia, who was slightly annoyed by Yang Xiaoyou's refusal, grumbled to Charming Shadow, who had once pursued her but was now temporarily an ally.
"He probably wants to prevent any conflict between our sides," replied Charming Shadow, wearing a faintly mischievous smile. Her response was devoid of any tension.

This involves honor and interests; if that's the case, any chance for negotiation or compromise is gone," said Fia, her expression playful after hearing Charming Shadow's words.
The decision not to choose Red Dragon initially stemmed from such concerns; after all, their identity was somewhat sensitive. Even if the other party might turn a blind eye due to warming relations between their countries, those who fought hard for this agreement were unwilling to take such risks.
After all, expanding the business was always profitable; it was merely a matter of earning a little less for the sake of caution. One must be aware that there were plenty of forces eyeing this profit, and if any incriminating evidence fell into their hands, it would not end well.
However, Fia did not expect the Red Dragon's people to approach so proactively.
Nearby, the Silver-Haired Princess, known as Charming Shadow, paused upon hearing this, momentarily taken aback before regaining her composure. She hadn’t anticipated this turn of events either, and it was likely that her master was unaware of the specific reasons behind it. At most, he would only suspect the motives behind the Red Dragon's approach.
The combination of interests and reputation made it exceedingly difficult to persuade the other party to back down smoothly.
In the hotel lobby, the atmosphere felt somewhat chaotic and tense.
Some staff members had taken refuge beside the walls, while several security personnel in uniforms stood around, appearing hesitant to intervene.
The cause of their unease was the standoff between two groups in the center of the lobby. One group consisted of five individuals—four men and one woman—who were indeed the proactive members of the Red Dragon. On the opposite side stood six foreign men in suits; undoubtedly, these were the personnel sent by Hive Division for assistance.
Among those six foreigners, one man appeared pale and was being supported by his companions. His suit was wrinkled and stained, with a trace of blood at the corner of his mouth.
Given that Fia was British, it made sense that Hive Division had sent all White men. However, this situation elicited loud cheers from some onlookers nearby, as if they were celebrating a display of national pride.
This reaction caused the faces of several members from Hive Security Company to darken.
They had received orders that there was a core member from their headquarters and an official member present; their mission was merely to assist.
Yet unexpectedly, upon arriving here, they were met with an intimidating display from this inexplicable group. Although the members of Hive Security Company possessed considerable skills in driving, firearms, and combat—capable of performing well in any situation—they quickly realized that despite having one more person than their opponents, they were still at a significant disadvantage.
Just as they prepared to report the situation and await further instructions from above, a cold voice echoed from the direction of the Elevator Entrance.
“Captain Song, is this how your Red Dragon conducts business? I wonder what our people have done to offend you. If there has been any disrespect, please point it out; I will ensure they receive appropriate punishment.”
"Ding."
As the elevator doors slowly opened, Yang Xiaoyou looked at the scene in the hotel lobby with indifference. Although her tone suggested she was reporting for punishment, there was an underlying chill in her words. The implication was clear: if it weren't for her people causing trouble first, things wouldn't have escalated so easily.
All of this chaos stemmed from just a few words. After making some arrangements and waiting for the elevator to arrive, she never expected it would turn out like this.
Upon seeing the person in the elevator and hearing those words, Song Enfu felt a bit awkward but also slightly relieved. Although he was quite dissatisfied with the actions of his hot-tempered subordinate, there was no turning back now. Being straightforward was in line with the unspoken rules of the Mercenary World; since negotiations had failed, they might as well handle things according to the rules.
"Where? I just saw a few members of your company arrive and felt a bit eager to spar. I didn't expect you all to look impressive but be utterly useless," sneered the young man following Song Enfu, who had previously provoked Yang Xiaoyou. He was in his late twenties and couldn't help but chuckle as he took over the conversation.
He was somewhat clever, realizing that tearing apart both companies would be unwise. With just a few sentences, he shifted the blame onto individuals. His outwardly fiery personality conveniently masked this point.
"Ding."
At that moment, another elevator door opened, revealing Charming Shadow, who had come out after receiving news from Fia.
She continued on her way to the countryside... hoping to arrive on time.
