Feeling the immense force transmitted through his hand, the man pretending to be a thug couldn't help but show a hint of astonishment on his face. He was well aware of his own strength.
Even a piece of steel would be pierced through with such a thrust.
Yet, the fork he held in his grip was unexpectedly caught by the chopsticks controlled by the opponent's fingers, which struck him with tremendous shock.

Following through, she slammed her left knee into the head of the man who still had a tight grip on her right arm.

After taking down both men in one breath, Laiwei finally had a chance to understand why her opponents had hesitated.
It seemed that someone had pushed the table in front of them, causing the corner to strike the 'vital' area of the man with the Electric Shock Gun.

"No matter what, I owe you a favor." Laiwei was not one to be overly sentimental. After quickly assessing the situation, she rushed over to the two men who had been kicked away, checking their gear. She had come out for shopping, after all.
She found a dagger and kept it for herself, then tossed the Electric Shock Gun to Yang Xiaoyou. Squatting behind a table near the floor-to-ceiling window, she took a moment to scan the outside environment.
The two men from earlier would not have been her match even if they had attacked together. However, due to a moment of carelessness on her part and their unexpected assault, she had nearly found herself in deep trouble.
