After the dreamlike black figure flashed past and stepped onto the top of the Container, a series of barely visible Silver Threads emerged in the path of the Tyrant.
The figure, akin to a tank and exuding an overwhelming aura, charged forward and collided with the web made of silver Silk Threads. It let out a furious roar, and the tank-like form was abruptly halted!
On both sides stood the Containers, serving as walls for the walkway, which emitted a creaking metallic groan. Then, under the pull of those silver threads, they began to collapse inward!
It seemed as if they were being dragged by the immense force of that figure.
This left the scattered individuals who had begun to retreat in shock!
"Don't stop! Do you want to die?" At that moment, a long-lost voice echoed in their earpieces once again.
Hearing this voice at such a critical time made everyone present feel as if they had found their anchor. Their spirits lifted, and their steps quickened.
Like a flock of startled birds, they each retreated in their own best way, showcasing their skills to the fullest.
Once everyone had evacuated, the Container that had been pulled down crushed the Tyrant beneath it, causing it to erupt in rage as it tossed off its burden.
The powerful Palm tore at the spider silk-like bindings. The silver Silk Threads embedded deep into its flesh were ripped away without regard for the crimson and green blood that flowed from its wounds. Meanwhile, its Crimson gaze turned sharply towards a figure standing on another still-intact Container.
All attention was drawn to this Crawler that had inflicted harm and hindered its actions, ignoring the other scattered Crawlers entirely.
"Indeed, there is still a significant gap between these temporarily mutated half-products and true Incomplete Forms in terms of resistance to damage. Otherwise, no matter how tough the equipment is, it wouldn't be able to inflict any harm," Yang Xiaoyou sighed as he looked at his empty white wrist.
In order to bind this fellow to the greatest extent possible, his heavily crafted equipment had been rendered useless. However, achieving this effect that allowed everyone to escape safely was worth it.
Now focusing on himself is not a bad thing. Given the nature of his abilities, it would certainly be no problem to retreat when the time is right. However, it was unfortunate that they still lost a team member here.
Although when it was initially crafted, Yang Xiaoyou had targeted some exceptionally strong non-human entities, facing the violent rampage of the half-finished Tyrant before him, even the remarkably resilient silver Silk Thread began to break under its tearing force. In the end, even if he managed to retrieve it, it would be unusable and would require a new one to be made.
At this moment, there was no trace of regret on Yang Xiaoyou's face for the expensive equipment. The greater loss was still that sacrificed team member. However, reaching this level already showed that they had done their best.
"Big guy, how about a game of hide and seek?" Seeing the Tyrant free from all restraints and breaking loose, Yang Xiaoyou provocatively beckoned with his finger. Then he leaped into the interior of the warehouse where no team members had retreated.
To be on the safe side, it was better to buy them some more time; he did not want to see further losses in manpower. Most of the formal members who came this time had the potential to become core members!
Even though the consciousness of the human had dissipated, facing such a universal gesture of provocation, the freed Tyrant let out a roar and followed Yang Xiaoyou's path.
Although its size was enormous, its agility was surprisingly nimble. It did not waste time pushing aside containers in its way but instead flipped over them with a single hand. If it had utilized this speed from the start, it might have caught up with Lucas and the others much earlier.
After Yang Xiaoyou bounced several times and reached the second floor of the warehouse, the Tyrant jumped up and grabbed onto an exposed thick ventilation pipe, swinging across. The entire floor of the second level creaked ominously as if it could collapse at any moment.
"That's enough for now. Next time I’ll play with you again. Of course, you need to find a way to survive from the military's encirclement first. Bye-bye." A glance around confirmed that there were no members of Hive Security Company left in the warehouse. Feeling that it was about time,
Yang Xiaoyou casually waved his hand, and his figure gradually vanished like flames from the Tyrant's sight.
Seeing its prey disappear before it made the wild beast furious; it slammed its massive body against the ground and let out a roar far more intense than before.
The sound even penetrated through the warehouse, causing shivers among Hive Security Company members outside who were heading towards the support convoy.
Inside and outside the warehouse, all glass products shattered completely due to this continuous roar.
A muffled groan suddenly echoed from not far away, and Yang Xiaoyou's figure reappeared.
In the eyes of the half-finished Tyrant, a look of astonishment emerged.
He never expected to break free like this!
The illusion he could create ultimately deceived the opponent's perception; he hadn't truly vanished from reality. This indiscriminate sonic attack, while not particularly powerful, had successfully forced him back into view.
Seeing the prey reemerge, the previously enraged Tyrant was now taken aback, as if it couldn't believe that its own indiscriminate assault could yield such an effect.
With increased speed, it charged toward Yang Xiaoyou, intermittently letting out howls that not only amplified its momentum but also made it difficult for Yang Xiaoyou to enter the mental illusion realm.
"Hey, big fellow, can't you just let me leave in peace? It's so noisy," Yang Xiaoyou said, resting one hand on a nearby metal railing. With a twist and a shake, he detached a long section of it, the sharp end glinting coldly.
"Since you don't have that invincible defense and resilience yet, why not calm down a bit?" He waved it casually a couple of times, creating a whooshing sound as he spoke almost to himself.
Then his eyes flashed with an eerie red glow, and his entire being seemed to emanate a dominating aura that suppressed the Tyrant's violent energy!
Even the unclear force of Yang Xiaoyou's inner personality couldn't shake this combined power, let alone the half-finished Tyrant!
"Kneel!"
With a command devoid of any emotion, Yang Xiaoyou's figure vanished once more into thin air.
Previously, he had relied on deceptive illusions to disappear; this time, however, it was an absolute suppression of speed!
Accompanied by that voice, the leg of the Tyrant seemed to be struck hard by something, causing its knee to buckle and fall. The tremendous impact sent a large chunk of concrete flying into the air.
Kneeling on the ground, it slid forward due to the force, leaving a deep gouge in the earth.
"Shut up!"
As that merciless voice of Yang Xiaoyou resurfaced, he leaped into action, appearing at the side of the Tyrant's head.
The steel pipe in his hand vanished for a brief moment, only to reappear as it pierced through the Tyrant's flesh, completely shredding its mouth and emerging from the other side, obliterating its tongue in the process.
The sound that had been akin to a sonic attack transformed into a muffled whimper.
Then, Yang Xiaoyou's figure leaped again and vanished; this time, he did not reappear.
A half-finished Tyrant might not be killed by a blow to the skull, but piercing through its flesh required only a single thought!
Reemerging from the realm of mental illusions, Yang Xiaoyou found himself outside the warehouse.
The autumn night breeze pressed down the surrounding weeds and rustled through his clothes.
