"Y-You guys," Lucas quickly tended to the wound in an emergency manner, while Zhang You stared at the four people in front of him, rendered speechless.
Based on their behavior along the way and the occasional snippets of conversation he had overheard, it was clear that they had followed him here. It seemed their original target was Mr. Zhong Cheng, but they had missed their mark and unwittingly used him as bait.
Faced with being used like this, Zhang You felt extremely frustrated. However, he couldn't help but let out a self-deprecating sigh. Years of urban life had dulled his vigilance, and he never expected that someone would dare to threaten him under such circumstances.
Regardless of their intentions, it was an undeniable fact that they had saved him. Otherwise, he would have been left there as a scapegoat for this incident, plunging himself into an irreversible situation!

He had reluctantly agreed to the arrangement earlier, feeling he had no other choice in that dire situation. While they might not compare to the powerful Common Unity Party, ensuring the safety of an individual was certainly within their capabilities.
"What do you mean?!" Zhong Cheng, already overwhelmed by a series of recent events, had finally managed to relax while enjoying a massage from a technician. But upon hearing the report, he erupted in fury.
The sudden outburst caused the technician to squeeze his shoulder too hard, leaving it bruised, but he had no time to care about that now.
"The villa in the suburbs of Z City has been raided, and the police are already on-site. They're making a big deal out of our security personnel carrying firearms. Our rivals are using this opportunity to stir up trouble, claiming we’re involved in drug trafficking," the shadowy figure who entered reported, sweat beading on his forehead.
"This is outrageous! Absolutely outrageous!" Upon hearing his subordinate's report and realizing he was being framed, Zhong Cheng felt a wave of nausea wash over him.
Indeed, that location was a significant stronghold in Z City. With only two gun permits issued, all security personnel were armed, which put them in a precarious position.
Normally, such issues could be managed without much fuss.
But now, with their base compromised and the police potentially using this incident as an excuse to broaden their crackdown, they would find themselves in a very vulnerable situation.
At this moment, Zhong Cheng knew he couldn't focus on revenge; he needed to figure out how to clean up this mess!
The thought sent chills down his spine. He had considered going there personally but had been held back by some trivial matters. If he had gone without any issues at hand, what would have happened?

Originally, Zhong Cheng had been sharpening his knives, ready to deal with the immediate problem before ruthlessly handling that character. But now he felt as if he had swallowed a fly; it was utterly disgusting.
Zhang You had reacted so quickly. To protect himself, he had joined such a ruthless organization. Although Hive Security seemed insignificant compared to Blackwater Security Company, they had already shown their fangs during recent collaborations that pressured the headquarters.
Moreover, although the Party Leader seemed to be in a bad mood lately, he had specifically instructed Zhong Cheng that as long as Hive Security did not go too far, they should be ignored. This response caused Zhong Cheng's expression to darken immediately after making some decisions; he struggled to swallow his words back down, looking quite comical.
As the bell signaling the end of the exam rang out, one subject concluded. Outside, anxious parents waited eagerly for their children to emerge from inside, hoping to catch sight of their offspring.
Yang Xiaoyou squeezed through the crowd, patting down his wrinkled clothes and whistling as he walked in the direction he was headed. Before the exam, he had already received news of Lucas and the others' success.
Although it was a bit disappointing not to have caught a big fish, they still came out ahead. Taking advantage of the lingering effects from their last sweep of the organization, the Common Unity Party, as a partner in the organization, would have to let it slide even if they knew it was them behind it, as long as there was no concrete evidence.

Upon entering, he discovered Lucas, Laiwei, and Duh had turned his living room into a complete mess, as if it were their own home.
The capable maid who usually had a key seemed to have continued with her own tasks and hadn’t joined them.
Looking at Laiwei, who was blowing air at the air conditioner while drinking from a bottle of his father's prized vintage wine, along with Duh playing with his gun model and Lucas still searching for more alcohol, Yang Xiaoyou's face fell. They were asking for trouble.
