"I've already noted down the license plate. If you don't want the person in charge here to cause you trouble, it would be better for you to hand over the money voluntarily when the time comes. I'm just looking out for you," Yang Xiaoyou said casually, waving a hand.
Fu Jincai felt a wave of darkness wash over him. He was self-aware enough to know he was the typical 'bad guy' who used his family's influence to bully others. He had always been the one to deal with others, but now he found himself in a predicament.
The humiliation he felt far surpassed the pain of seeing his beloved car damaged.
He could barely catch his breath.
With his vision blurring and his head throbbing, he pointed a trembling finger at Yang Xiaoyou's retreating figure, mumbling incoherently. He had never experienced such humiliation before, and ultimately, he spat out a mouthful of blood and fainted.
"Young people these days really have poor emotional resilience," Yang Xiaoyou remarked with an air of nonchalance, her youthful face betraying no concern. If Fu Jincai were to wake up and hear her words, he might not just be fainting from anger but could very well die from it.
"Huh? Aren't they supposed to be around here? Where are they?" Although there had been a bit of a hiccup, Yang Xiaoyou did not change her initial plan. After nearly giving that fat guy a stroke, she continued on to the location she had learned about from Aunt Tang.
Given Menglu's charm, she should have stood out while handing out flyers.
However, just as Yang Xiaoyou stood at the entrance of the venue, preparing to unleash her aura to sense her surroundings, she heard the sound of footsteps approaching.
Turning around, she saw an adorable large bear mascot waddling toward her. When it reached her, it playfully kicked her with its soft paw, its oversized head bobbing comically.
"Lin? Of course, if she comes out, she'll definitely call for you too," Yang Xiaoyou said with a smile as she lifted the mascot's head to reveal a delicate face that seemed almost otherworldly.
However, Feng Lin appeared displeased that Yang Xiaoyou had taken her mascot hood. She kicked him again with her soft paw in protest and then awkwardly grabbed the hood with her round paws and pulled it over her own head.
But perhaps due to her paws being too clumsy, she struggled several times without success, making the hood wobble precariously and causing many flyers to scatter from her hands.
"I'm feeling like June right now. Doesn't this get boring for you?" Yang Xiaoyou sighed and rolled her eyes before reaching out to help Feng Lin secure the hood properly.
Well, given Feng Lin's physique, wearing such a costume posed no challenge for her. But for Menglu, she would probably be overheating within half an hour.
Sure enough, not long after arriving at Feng Lin, a limp and listless Rabbit Doll waddled over, clutching a flyer in its hand and swaying as it walked. Yang Xiaoyou felt speechless; her good mood, which had started off well, plummeted at the sight.
She then walked over and directly lifted the silly rabbit's hood, dragging the clumsy girl toward the KV area. As soon as they stepped inside, the cool air from the air conditioning instantly refreshed the surroundings. Feng Lin's bear followed closely behind Yang Xiaoyou, casually tossing aside the flyer in her hand, scattering it all over the floor.
It seemed she had been dragged here by Meng Lu and hadn’t paid much attention to this job. If she hadn’t been so satisfied with the Bear Mascot, she likely wouldn’t have distributed a single flyer.
“Wait! What are you doing? You were called here to hand out flyers, and this is how you do it? Who allowed you to come in? It’s not time for your shift yet.” At that moment, a voice filled with irritation emerged from within the KV.
A young foreman approached with an unhappy expression, glancing at Yang Xiaoyou before turning to Meng Lu and Feng Lin with a stern tone.
It turned out that these two girls were hired by the establishment known as Barbara to distribute flyers.
The naive Meng Lu and the somewhat clueless Feng Lin clearly didn’t realize what was happening. However, having experienced so much, Yang Xiaoyou understood that forcing two girls dressed like this to go outside in such hot weather was clearly suspicious.
If it was already uncomfortable inside due to the air conditioning, standing outside would be unbearable even for an adult man.
Were their appearances not more attractive than those two dolls?
At first, Yang Xiaoyou thought it was just that Meng Lu was so invested in her first job that she didn’t want to take a break. Now she realized it was others who wouldn’t let them rest, which she found intolerable.

Her tone was icy enough to freeze the air around them.
For Yang Xiaoyou, who usually had a laid-back and carefree demeanor and avoided trouble at all costs, once someone crossed that line they shouldn’t touch, her latent violent tendencies would surface without restraint.
Dragging Meng Lu inside, she kicked the fallen foreman aside, crashing into several tables in the lobby before heading into a closed booth on one side. She kicked open the door and brought Meng Lu and Feng Lin inside.
Some people are simply born to be contemptible. They mistake kindness for weakness, believing that if you treat them well, you fear them. After being publicly humiliated by Yang Xiaoyou, they instead began to show signs of trepidation.
The security guards who had started to gather around hesitated. Those two remarks were indeed too harsh. Barbara's crew was one of the factions that reestablished itself after Yongxing was dismantled.
Such forces still exist throughout JS Province; after all, where there is demand, there is a market. The hard reality is that these gray and black forces cannot be completely eradicated.
However, many had experienced the bloody upheaval firsthand, with heads rolling and bullets flying. If they were to cross paths with the formidable Crown Prince Party, it could spell disaster.
Considering all this, when Yang Xiaoyou and his group entered the private room, the security guards remained in the lobby, showing no intention of rushing in. Instead, they kept making phone calls to establish contact.
This situation was beyond their control.
Everything would be decided by those above them.
"What... what happened here? Ugh, whatever it is, just find me a quiet room so I can rest a bit. I'm feeling a little dizzy," a pale-faced man with a hint of blood at the corner of his mouth said weakly as he was supported by two security guards. He paused for a moment upon seeing the scene before him and then spoke in a feeble tone.
"I should be on duty next Tuesday and Friday. Those two can do their best; please search for updates faster!"
