"What kind of person are you!" The man resembling a stick shouted, his face shifting between expressions of anger and uncertainty.
Setting aside his strength, the sheer ability to conceal himself was far beyond what one would expect. With a human body, he managed to deceive his own senses, indicating that the other party was indeed formidable.
The lizard-like pupils in his eyes began to redden, emanating a chilling aura of danger!
"Hmph, just a dying man. Why ask so many questions?" Accompanied by a cold snort, a fellow who seemed to be missing two front teeth swaggered in through the door. He casually glanced at the inhuman man before tossing him aside and ignoring him completely.
Instead, he looked at General Bogan with a smirk and said, "Isn't it inappropriate for the general to act this way? To think you would want to expel us directly. However, we have a solid foundation for cooperation with the forces represented by this gentleman, so it hasn't caused us much loss."
Faced with this situation, the ordinary man in camouflage seemed to revert to his earlier dazed state. The pressure that had initially erupted around them dissipated as he spoke in a somewhat indifferent tone.
"To be honest, your actions are somewhat unexpected. I didn't anticipate that you would grow strong enough to target prey of this caliber. Moreover, according to our intelligence, it seems you have recently increased your efforts in the Middle East. This is likely to cover up your deception."
From Silence's earlier words, deducing his identity was not difficult.
"Hive Security Company," came the low, gravelly voice from the emaciated figure, almost through gritted teeth.
They had already received intelligence indicating that Hive Security Company was quite active in the Middle East recently, aligning perfectly with their initial reconnaissance. How could they still have the energy to focus their attention here?
They were fully prepared for other forces to intervene in this incident. Just like now, he had come to negotiate with representatives from the Chinese Empire, aiming for a strong alliance to obtain what they desired at minimal cost. If their goals aligned, there was indeed potential for cooperation.
However, if Hive Security Company was among those prying forces, it would be terrible news for the organization.
Given the adversarial relationship between Hive Security Company and their organization, their presence here would undoubtedly have negative repercussions. A hostile and powerful opponent beside them could lead to disastrous consequences if any conflict arose and drew attention.
"Sigh, I originally intended to let you live a little longer. But if you keep making noise beside me, it’s better to deal with you first before we talk properly." Silence seemed displeased with the interruption and flashed a cold smile.
Meanwhile, the camouflage-clad man watched with interest, seemingly uninterested in intervening in the dispute between both sides while raising his hand to stop General Bogan from speaking.
"Arrogant! Hmph, a mere Hive Security Company dares to focus on this? Do you think brute force alone can solve the problem? Once this is done, how can you guarantee that your side won't face a frenzied retaliation? Being able to absorb it rationally is what truly constitutes a Foundation! As for you? Heh, even if you manage to seize it, you'll just end up dead!" The gaunt figure's face twisted into a snarl.
Although a chilling murderous intent radiated from him, he merely retorted without any intention of making a move, seemingly holding back out of caution.
"As for this matter, it's not something you need to worry about. In fact, we should thank you for handling this issue. Well, never mind, it's better to resolve this quickly so that we don't have lingering nightmares. General Bogan shouldn't have any objections, right?" Silence seemed to clear his ears before addressing Bagon.
"This is a private matter between both sides; I won't take sides. The venue is provided for you; do as you please." Bagon was also quite the shrewd character. Surviving under the oppression of the British side until now, he was certainly no fool.
He wouldn't hesitate to express his stance when necessary and initially sided with the Camouflaged Man. However, his attitude toward both the organization and the Hive Security Company had become ambiguous.
Both factions were incredibly powerful—one had capabilities that could rival nations while the other excelled in combat. Regardless, he understood that as long as his backing remained strong, neither of these forces would dare to offend him.
In such circumstances, he was more than happy to remain neutral; whoever won would not cost him anything.
"Hmph! A mere human dares to be arrogant before me! I initially held back out of respect for my master’s face, but since you refuse to recognize my courtesy, don’t blame me for what comes next. I apologize in advance; it might get a bit bloody. I hope everyone understands." He had always regarded himself as superior in human form and while most humans would despise him, he couldn't help but look down on ordinary humans.
Initially wary and unable to gauge his opponent's strength, the gaunt figure now erupted in fury at such blatant provocation. His inherent brutality was fully revealed at this moment.
A mere human! How dare they target him like this!
As his words fell, the frail figure began to twist and contort. The robe draped over him swelled ominously, creating an unsettling atmosphere.
A beast-like growl erupted from his mouth, and his gaunt face became increasingly grotesque as his gaping maw revealed sharp teeth resembling saw blades, dripping with saliva that seemed mixed with blood.
This transformation filled the surrounding soldiers with palpable fear. Yet under the general's orders, none dared to fire first. Even General Bogan's expression shifted slightly; he had heard of similar occurrences before and even learned that armed insurgents within India had employed biochemical weapons akin to this.
However, witnessing such a transformation was still a first for him!
The once frail body began to swell like an inflating balloon, wild gusts of air bursting forth and throwing chaos into the tent's interior.
However, it was due to that inexplicable pressure that it immediately transformed into its complete battle Form! It faced the opponent who brought it this pressure with its strongest fighting power!
The fierce airflow made Silence squint his eyes involuntarily, but at that moment, a strange smile appeared at the corner of his mouth.
"Idiot, don't you realize that today's society is no longer just about brute force?"
Muttering indifferently, he simultaneously pulled out a cigar and stuffed it directly into the gap where his missing front tooth was.
At that moment, the Heart suddenly felt a chilling sense of impending doom! But it was already too late; there was no time for any Reaction!
With a leisurely flick of his lighter,
A loud bang echoed as a massive shockwave erupted, tearing open a huge rift in the entire military camp. Accompanied by the scorching airflow wreaking havoc, the monster that had just transformed into its strongest battle Form had its head explode like a watermelon!
Only a headless Fierce Corpse remained in place, with the severed neck showing a gaping wound and exposed white bones that looked exceptionally eerie.
Meanwhile, on a hill nearly two kilometers away from the military camp, Yang Xiaoyou had just lifted his head away from the scope of his disproportionately large Anti-Material Sniper Rifle.
There’s one more chapter coming up; I have to go on duty now. I'm in a bit of a rush, so please forgive any flaws and search for better updates faster!
