This sudden turn of events caused Yang Kai and Qin Meng to change their expressions drastically. They exchanged a knowing glance and decided to strike first against the two creatures nearby, despite being surrounded. Taking this opportunity to eliminate the enemy's fighting force was their most efficient choice.
However, just before they charged out, they glanced one last time in Yang Xiaoyou's direction and nearly stumbled in shock.
At that moment, Yang Xiaoyou's pace remained unchanged. In his hands, however, were two gruesome heads—one large and one small.
The headless bodies of the two creatures stood silently behind him like statues. The expressions on their severed heads seemed frozen in disbelief, as if they could not comprehend how they had met such a fate.
This immediate visual shock was even more staggering than the earlier pressure that had seemed to come from the ground itself, overwhelming everyone present with a sense of horror!
