Zhou Hao looked at the battle report handed over by his advisor, his brows slightly furrowing. Clearly, he was dissatisfied with the results. As a Federation Soldier, he had been engaged in combat with the Blue Seal Empire for over forty years and considered himself quite familiar with the Blue Marked People. However, this time, a trap he had set was unexpectedly broken, and it was done by a group of military academy graduates. 0

"Yu..." Zhou Hao gazed at the report, momentarily lost in thought. As a cultured general in the army, he was not without strategy, but he had personally intervened against these elite graduates from Blue Seal and did not expect such an outcome. He sought revenge for Ye Yu and naturally wanted to eliminate those who dared to infiltrate the Federation, treating the killing of Federation Soldiers as their graduation project. 0

However, according to the intelligence he had gathered, there were at least eighty graduates from the Blue Seal Imperial Military Academy who had infiltrated the Federation, yet he had only managed to kill fewer than twenty! He had originally set a bait trap to catch all these students at once, but somewhere along the line, something went wrong; most of the intern officers had not fallen for it! 0

"General, according to intelligence, that person's son is also among this year's graduates. I wonder if..." The senior advisor glanced at the documents in his hand and leaned slightly forward. 0

A flicker of unease crossed Zhou Hao's eyes; he knew exactly who that person was. He felt a reluctance to hear any news about him because it stirred a sense of discomfort within him. This discomfort was not fear but an instinctive reverence for someone who had traversed a long span of time. Living long enough naturally brings more experiences, and one can never be sure what such a person might do. 0

Logically speaking, as a senior general, Zhou Hao should not have such emotions. Yet when he thought of that person, he found himself unable to control them. 0

After a long pause, Zhou Hao sighed lightly and said, "Continue investigating. Perhaps eliminating these individuals will bring an early end to this millennia-long war." 0

... 0

Ye Yu felt somewhat anxious facing the heavily guarded Wasteland Prison; he did not have absolute confidence. But he knew that if he did not escape soon, there would be no chance left. 0

The two prison guards whom Ye Yu had glanced at earlier had now regained their composure but wore expressions tinged with uncertainty. Their subconscious told them that they seemed to have done something but also felt as if they hadn’t. 0

The three men approached Ye Yu's prison cell, and the guards removed the shackles from him before casually pushing him inside. 0

With a clang—a sound of metal colliding with hard stone—Ye Yu found himself back in the cramped prison cell. The Nameless Old Man remained seated with his eyes closed, seemingly never intending to move. 0

Even as Ye Yu entered, there was no reaction from him; he knew Ye Yu would initiate conversation. 0

"Tomorrow night, when they change shifts for the first time, we will leave!" 0

Ye Yu stretched his limbs that had been constrained by shackles; his tone seemed casual but carried significant weight. A prison break was no simple matter—especially for Wasteland Prison—where such events had never occurred before. But now that Ye Yu was here, it was bound to happen. 0

This was not arrogance; it was something Ye Yu had to accomplish. When a person's conviction is continually strengthened, they naturally come to believe in their success. 0

"Do you need my help?" The Nameless Old Man's parched lips parted slightly, yet Ye Yu could detect no unusual emotion from him. 0

Ye Yu respectfully bowed to the Nameless Old Man and said, "You have already helped me greatly; now it is my turn to repay you." 0

Indeed, this Nameless Old Man had assisted Ye Yu immensely; he helped Ye Yu break through to the Third Stage of physical skills and taught him how to harness consciousness—his Mental Power. 0

This is the territory of the Federation, where powerful armed forces are everywhere. No matter how strong an individual may be, facing a torrent of metal means certain death. However, this Mental Power serves as an unexpected trump card, naturally yielding surprising results! 0

"I knew you would quickly grasp this Martial Arts, but I didn't expect you to catch a glimpse of its profundity in just half an hour," the Nameless Old Man said, a hint of joy appearing on his face, clearly pleased. He was still astonished by Ye Yu's talent; after breaking through in physical techniques, he could master the intricate Mental Power in such a short time. 0

Ye Yu paused for a moment before realizing that half an hour in the Blue Seal Empire equated to one hour in the Federation. The two had been communicating almost entirely in Blue Ink Language, and the Nameless Old Man had fully reverted to using it. 0

"Sir, I would like to know what effects your Martial Arts will have when practiced to the highest level?" Ye Yu asked. Now that he had only just begun to understand its intricacies, he was naturally eager to learn what kind of effects awaited him if he continued to practice this Martial Arts to its utmost limits. 0

"Transforming the virtual into reality," the Nameless Old Man replied with a half-smile, leaving it at that. He was unwilling to divulge more because he understood that curiosity is a powerful motivator for exploration. 0

The most important matter at hand was naturally the Prison Break planned for tomorrow night. Ye Yu shared his plan with the Nameless Old Man. Upon hearing that he had found three Blue Marked People as companions, the old man was slightly taken aback. To rally three Blue Marked People to risk their lives alongside him with just a few words—what kind of charm did Ye Yu possess? 0

As night fell, the two fell silent and began to adjust their states, preparing for the desperate struggle ahead. For Ye Yu, it was crucial to continue practicing Mental Power; this Martial Arts required minimal movement—he simply needed to refine his consciousness according to the practice mantra provided by the Nameless Old Man. 0

The night passed swiftly, and soon it was almost time for their rendezvous. Suddenly, Ye Yu opened his eyes, a deep blue light flashing within them. 0

In the next moment, Ye Yu's figure blurred and appeared at the door. His already prepared fist struck the iron door repeatedly like cannon fire. 0

Instantly, the previously quiet Prison Cell erupted into chaos. The duty guard shouted angrily as he rushed toward Ye Yu's cell with his Phase Gun in hand. 0

With a clatter, the window on the iron door was pulled open, revealing a bearded Bald Prison Guard with an angry expression standing before Ye Yu. 0

"What's all this noise? Are you enjoying yourselves?" The Wasteland Prison housed some of the most vicious criminals; even if they resorted to corporal punishment, no one would truly oppose it. 0

The Bald Prison Guard looked at the youthful figure before him and instinctively thought of dozens of ways to punish him. A lewd smile crept onto his face—yes, a very lewd smile that everyone understood. 0

"Let us out!" Ye Yu said sternly. At that moment, he wasn't trying to appear serious; rather, he intended for his Mental Power to disrupt the guard's thoughts by conveying his demands in an utterly reasonable manner. 0

The Bald Prison Guard was momentarily speechless. He had prepared countless retorts for this young man but hadn't anticipated such a straightforward demand. He found himself stumped by Ye Yu's seemingly natural assertion; more accurately, he was intimidated by this audacious attitude. 0

However, in the next moment, the anger on the Bald Prison Guard's face faded away, replaced by an eerie calmness or perhaps a blank expression. 0

He naturally opened the door to the Prison Cell and stood aside, seemingly waiting for Ye Yu's next command. Ye Yu merely glanced at the Nameless Old Man, who had remained still but whom he trusted was preparing something. 0

At that moment, Ye Yu's eyes widened in disbelief as he witnessed something extraordinary! From beneath the old man's bed flew two wooden sticks as tall as a person and as thick as an infant's arm. One end of each stick had a piece of wood less than twenty centimeters long nailed horizontally across its center. 0

In an instant, the Nameless Old Man struck his hands against the bed's edge and floated up like a feather. With a blur of motion, he grabbed both wooden sticks and tucked them under his arms, lifting himself up entirely. 0

At that moment, Ye Yu realized that the old man had no legs; his position was completely empty! Reflecting on their time together, he suddenly understood that he had never seen the old man stand up. 0

"Let's go!" 0

The Nameless Old Man's expression was even more nonchalant, almost arrogant. This was the so-called Wasteland Prison, and he thought he could leave so easily? 0

Ye Yu quickly steadied his mind, knowing that this was not the time for shock. He turned to glance at the Bald Prison Guard, who immediately turned and walked toward the exit. 0

The two of them quickly followed. Although the old man relied on a wooden cane to walk, he made no sound at all. It was as if he were not wrapped in a real body beneath his voluminous robes. 0

The journey was short, and no one came out to obstruct the trio. After all, no one would expect anyone to break out of Wasteland Prison in such a manner; no one could be so audacious, so naturally, no one cared where Ye Yu and the others were headed. 0

The night was deep, and the desert sky held a rugged beauty. The two Mech Warriors assigned to guard the prison building stared somewhat bored at the night sky. They had just woken from sleep and were still getting used to being awake. 0

Suddenly, the prison door, which rarely opened at this hour, creaked as it slowly swung open! A bald head glimmering with faint light appeared in the Mech Warriors' line of sight, followed by the figures of an old man and a young man. 0

"What are you doing?" These Mech Warriors were certainly not ordinary people; they reacted almost instantly, their massive mechs producing sounds of metal grinding. 0

"Prison Break." An aged voice echoed in their ears, sounding quite ordinary. But in the next moment, the expressions on both of their faces mirrored that of the Bald Prison Guard from earlier. 0

How could they be so audacious! This was the thought of both Mech Warriors at that moment, and it would be their last thought. 0
