“Wavebreaker Legion!”
Indeed, there are many Interstellar Pirates, but the only one that could make Wei Ze feel anxious in this star region is the Wavebreaker Legion. So Wei Ze added to Ye Yu, stating that the four words Wavebreaker Legion represent a colossal force in the Federation Northern District!
After a brief moment of astonishment, Ye Yu immediately grasped the seriousness of the situation. As the fifth-ranked Wavebreaker Legion among the Interstellar Pirates, he was certainly aware of its reputation. He even knew that Arrow Camp had once organized an assassination attempt against key figures of the Wavebreaker Legion. However, no one knew the outcome, and it was likely not favorable for the Federation.
“How many Battleships?” Ye Yu quickly regained his composure. This was not something he could stop alone, but his team had to take on the responsibility of defense!
“According to information from Silver Dragon Star, there are a total of seventy-three ships, with fifty being Battleships! Among them, there are thirty-one medium Battleships, fifteen light Battleships, and one large Battleship, including one giant-class Star Domain Class Battleship!” Wei Ze glanced at the intelligence in his hand and immediately relayed all the information to Ye Yu.
Upon hearing Wei Ze's words, everyone was taken aback. While they were indeed formidable fighters, they felt powerless against such a powerful enemy.
“Are they trying to provoke a star domain war? How dare they directly breach the defenses of Silver Dragon Star!” Ye Yu blurted out instinctively. Even during the war between the Federation and the Blue Seal Empire, it was rare for either side to deploy such a large fleet of Battleships. Each Battleship is extremely costly; unless there is great confidence, it is uncommon to mobilize more than thirty ships.
A flicker of hesitation crossed Wei Ze's face, but he finally spoke up: “Captain Ye, you may not be aware that a significant portion of the forces from the Silver Dragon Guard has been deployed to the front lines against the Blue Marked People. Right now, Silver Dragon Star is at its weakest in terms of military strength!
Moreover, the National Defense Army in the Northern District has only retained basic Guard Units, as most have been sent to the front lines. I’ve heard that this time, the Blue Marked People have organized a large-scale offensive campaign, catching the Federation off guard!”
In recent days, Ye Yu had paid little attention to matters concerning the Federation, and he hadn’t expected such a significant event to occur. After thousands of years of continuous combat between both sides, many had become accustomed to this state of war. When the Blue Seal Empire suddenly intensified its offensive power, many were caught unprepared.
“Besides us and a hundred guards at the Amethyst Mine, are there any other forces?” Most of the Interstellar Pirates typically engaged in battles within the Cosmic Starry Sky, but now that they were aggressively approaching the Withered Source Star, they would naturally need to engage in ground operations. However, with only twelve Type 9 Battle Mechs, it would be nearly impossible to withstand a direct attack from a fleet of Battleships.
A hint of embarrassment appeared on Wei Ze's face as he replied: “There was originally a unit of Space Battleships, but those are all members of the Amethyst Society. We can't allow them to pilot our Battleships. Furthermore, since Silver Dragon City has just taken over this area, there aren't enough space combat pilots assigned here, so we currently have an empty fleet of Battleships...”
At this point, Wei Ze fell silent. He truly felt the desire to kill but found himself powerless. Ye Yu noticed Wei Ze's state and understood that he had no good solutions either. However, since Wei Ze had taken charge of security here, he naturally had to see it through.
"Mr. Wei, there's no need to worry. You take care of everyone's safety, and I'll handle the defense work!" Ye Yu glanced at his team members and continued, "Just give me the information on the Battleships, and I'll figure something out!"
"Sure!" Wei Ze nodded and began searching for information about the Amethyst Mine's Battleships. In just a moment, a virtual screen flickered in front of Ye Yu.
"Three Swift-class Battleships!"
"Two Wasp-Class Battleships!"
"And one Seagull-Class Battleship. This Battleship can serve as the fleet's flagship, perfectly forming a combat group!"
Ye Yu looked at the information on the screen and smiled slightly at the images of the Battleships. Although these types of Battleships had limited range and firepower, they were very suitable for combat in outer space because of their agility.
"Thank you, Mr. Wei. You should hurry and organize everyone to prepare for defense; I'll take care of the rest!" Ye Yu smiled at Wei Ze and nodded in gratitude. Wei Ze hesitated for a moment but then nodded and closed the communicator.
Then Ye Yu addressed everyone, "I believe that since the Silver Dragon Guard is our elite unit, operating these Space Battleships should be no problem!"
"Of course! We are the best of the best; we can pilot even those Star Domain Class Battleships!" Liu Yao was the first to step forward upon hearing Ye Yu's words. Unconsciously, he puffed out his chest towards Ye Yu, causing his modestly sized soft white assets to quiver slightly, stirring something within Ye Yu.
"Alright, everyone, let's head to the Spaceport in our mechs!"
Ye Yu quickly regained his composure, surveyed those around him, and immediately issued the order! Upon hearing Ye Yu's command, Liu Yao swiftly disappeared from the entrance of the basement, followed closely by Liu Qi. The others, seeing this scene, had their own thoughts but still ran towards the basement together.
Ye Yu let out a long breath, as if he had made a firm decision. His figure blurred and then vanished. Moments later, twelve towering mechs stood in a neat formation in the basement.
"Move out!" Ye Yu transmitted the command through his communicator, and then activated the first mech, charging toward the outside.
"Boom—" A series of loud noises erupted in the quiet residential area, startling the residents of nearby buildings, who rushed out to see what was happening.
However, all they could see were the mechs flying orderly toward the center of the Mining Area. As they passed, trees swayed wildly, and leaves scattered everywhere.
Ye Yu watched as the Spaceport drew closer, rubbing his hands together; it was clear he was a bit nervous. To think that a few battleships could stop the Wavebreaker Legion was nothing short of a fantasy. Yet, Arrow Camp was best known for creating miracles in impossible situations. Although Ye Yu was no longer at Arrow Camp, that fighting spirit would not fade away!
In just a few minutes on the road, Ye Yu managed to contact Long Ruofei. She had hurried back to Silver Dragon Star overnight and had entrusted all defense operations on Withered Source Star to one of her deputies. However, Long Ruofei informed him that he could organize the defense efforts for Withered Source Star on his own.
