"Are you sure you don't like him?" Long Yin Yue asked with a slightly strange smile as she listened to her sister continuously praise Ye Yu.
Long Ruofei's expression changed, and she seemed either shy or uncertain, lowering her head and staring at her toes, as if contemplating whether Long Yin Yue's words reflected her true feelings.
"I'm not interested in kids; I just think he's impressive. I can't show favoritism," Long Ruofei finally lifted her head after a few seconds, her face revealing no hint of discomfort.
Long Yin Yue smiled helplessly. She felt increasingly unable to read her sister. She understood what Long Ruofei meant by favoritism, especially since just moments ago, Silver Dragon Star had appointed Long Ruofei as the first governor of Withered Source Star!
The Dragon Family was powerful in one aspect, but on the other hand, the person most familiar with and trusted by Silver Dragon Star regarding Withered Source Star was none other than Long Ruofei. She had spent several years there, responsible for related preparations. Silver Dragon Star had never placed much importance on qualifications; as long as one had the ability, that was enough! So although Long Ruofei was relatively young, few opposed her taking on such an important role.
"I think he's good too, but you know my principles. I need to understand him before I can truly rely on him! I still haven't figured out Ye Yu's background, and I don't even know his true strength!" Long Yin Yue frowned slightly, looking somewhat helpless.
"Can't Aunt Star see it? He’s probably just dual-skilled in physical techniques and Ability; could he have any other powers?" Long Ruofei said casually, pursing her lips.
Long Yin Yue nodded. "When he first came to the lord's mansion, I asked Aunt Star to observe him. However, all Aunt Star could determine was that he practiced physical techniques and reached Third Stage combat power, and that he practiced mid-level or higher physical techniques. As for whether he possesses Ability, Aunt Star couldn't tell."
"It seems like a rather troublesome matter. But he's only eighteen; I think you should still give him a chance! When I go to Withered Source Star later, I won't be able to manage Silver Dragon Guard anymore. Why not just give him my position as squad leader?" Long Ruofei said as she blurred into motion and sat down on a stool, casually picking up the freshly brewed tea and savoring it with a contented expression.
Long Yin Yue was surprised by Long Ruofei's words and looked at her. "Are you really willing? Once you give up that position, it will be hard to take it back!"
"I don't care; I've been worn out these past few years. I don't want to deal with Silver Dragon Guard anymore. Since Ye Yu is so capable, let him handle it; I'll enjoy a break," Long Ruofei stuck out her tongue playfully at Long Yin Yue, embodying a charmingly mischievous demeanor.
Long Yin Yue picked up the Premium Green Tea in front of her and took a gentle sip. "Drinking too much tea isn't good either; you'll be quite busy as governor. I'll propose something in the Military Committee; it should be fine then. But you've invested so much effort into your squad; I'm afraid you might regret it later."
Long Ruofei finished the remaining tea in his cup and said, "I'm already thirty years old, and there are still so many things I haven't tried. Naturally, I won't covet the power of the Silver Dragon Guard; all of that is meaningless."
In the bright Control Room, Ye Yu stood with his hands behind his back, gazing at the starry sky outside the spaceship, feeling a sudden wave of emotion. Not long ago, he and his companions were facing a life-and-death crisis, and now they had not only resolved that crisis but also captured such a massive Battleship.
Ye Yu vaguely remembered that the spoils of war belonged to the captor. However, a Starship of this caliber was an extremely important military asset, and such a situation had not occurred in the Federation before. Ye Yu was uncertain whether he could actually claim this Battleship for himself.
Compared to the forces Ye Yu needed to confront, there was still much he needed to improve upon. Even if he obtained such a Starship, it would only give him a bit of confidence.
Suddenly, at that moment, Ye Yu's ears twitched slightly. He squinted as an invisible wave rippled through the air. A few seconds later, Ye Yu opened his eyes as if nothing had happened.
After a few more seconds, a synchronized sound of footsteps echoed outside the Control Room. Soon after, a handsome youthful face appeared in the main control area, and of course, the prominent features on her chest were also quite eye-catching.
"Report, Captain! The entire third team has assembled. Please give your instructions!" A crisp yet efficient voice rang out in the main control area as the somewhat chaotic footsteps faded away.
Ye Yu turned around, trying not to let his gaze linger on Liu Yao's alluring attributes. He simply nodded at everyone and said, "Everyone, your contributions were crucial in repelling the pirates. However, we still need to work hard to conduct a simple inventory of this spaceship! Of course, I will send the service robots of this ship to assist you!"
Then Ye Yu looked at Liu Yao and continued, "Liu Yao, stay behind to help me with some issues. I'm not very familiar with some matters regarding the Silver Dragon Guard and will need your assistance. The rest of you can pair up; feel free to allocate specific inventory areas among yourselves!"
Upon hearing Ye Yu's words, everyone’s faces lit up with joy. They were all intelligent individuals and understood that Ye Yu was giving them credit for their achievements. Immediately, everyone saluted Ye Yu with excitement and said, "We will obey your orders, Captain!"
Then they all turned in unison and exited. In the next moment, a Virtual Image appeared on the control panel—it was Sasha. She swiftly tapped on the Holographic Display with her delicate hands as images of robots began to light up on the screen.
Six stood by, initially startled, covering her lips with her hand, her face filled with astonishment.
"Boss, is this the smart terminal of the Starship? Have you already claimed ownership of it? Does that mean you're going to be the captain of this ship?"
Six fired off questions one after another, leaving Ye Yu unsure of how to respond. Feeling a bit embarrassed, he scratched his nose and said, "Her name is Sasha. She is the smart terminal of this Mother Ship, and she has recognized me as her master!"
"The Starship is a moving territory; do you know what that means?" Although Six was young, as a soldier, she understood the significance of a Starship. The way she looked at Ye Yu had transformed from simple respect to genuine admiration!
