A sinister expression flashed across the shadow's face, and then it transformed into a blur, charging towards Ye Yu. However, Ye Yu's Mental Power had already locked onto the opponent. Just as the shadow made its move, Ye Yu had already anticipated and shifted his position.
The opponent's speed was clearly superior to Ye Yu's. Just as Ye Yu dodged the first wave of attacks, the shadow changed direction. Suddenly, at that moment, Ye Yu felt an invisible force collide with him, causing his body to tremble and rebound! A jolt of fear surged through him as he realized he had encountered an invisible wall just as he reached the door. After hitting it, he was thrown back.
Instinctively, Ye Yu directed a thread of Mental Power to try to penetrate that invisible wall but sensed that his Mental Power hit something like a steel plate. A heavy feeling settled in his heart; the opponent had prepared far more than he expected!
Suddenly, he heard a tearing sound near his ear, and an overwhelming sense of danger enveloped him! At that moment, having just been knocked down by the invisible wall, he had no time to defend himself!
In that instant, Ye Yu instinctively gathered all his Mental Power in front of him! At the same time, a shadow shot towards him like a cannonball!
In the next moment, an eerie scene unfolded: the tremendous force that could tear through gold and stone suddenly seemed to sink into a swamp, its speed drastically reduced!
At this critical juncture, Ye Yu slammed his hands against the ground and twisted his waist in mid-air to evade the shadow's attack range!
Just then, that shadow—whose speed had just decreased—suddenly surged forward again!
With a thunderous roar, the shadow lost its resistance and shot towards where Ye Yu had just been standing!
However, at this moment, Ye Yu had already left, and the shadow crashed directly onto the ground! The ground here was made of hard rock, capable of withstanding immense force, yet it was struck by a single punch, creating a deep pit the size of a fist that extended several inches down!
Seeing this scene, Ye Yu couldn't help but click his tongue in amazement. If that punch had landed on him, it would have been certain death.

The shadow, noticing that Ye Yu had dodged, revealed a few traces of ferocity on its face. Then, it transformed into a blur and shot toward Ye Yu's position once more!
Ye Yu knew he couldn't match the opponent in a direct confrontation. He quickly turned and dashed toward the rooftop! At that moment, he regretted throwing away his weapon; his mech was still in the underground warehouse, and he was trapped inside the building!
Suddenly, just then, a flash of silver light crossed Ye Yu's vision as a bald man in a robe appeared before him.
"Jin Shan!" Ye Yu was taken aback. He had no idea when Cautious had shown up; he hadn't sensed anything at all. Just then, he felt a sudden chill behind him!
"Get back!" Ye Yu shouted and immediately turned to confront the shadow! In the next moment, Ye Yu's arms suddenly swelled up, and his face turned crimson as if smeared with blood!
In an instant, as Ye Yu gathered his strength, the shadow charged toward him! The two figures collided like cannonballs!
"Bang—" It sounded like two pieces of metal crashing together. A frail shadow was sent flying back toward the stairs while another figure, resembling an iron tower, remained unmoved!
"Pfft—" The figure that flew back was Ye Yu. Although he had attacked with all his might, his opponent was clearly much stronger and sent him flying with a single punch.
Blood stained the corner of Ye Yu's mouth as he prepared to sit up but suddenly felt a tearing pain in his chest and abdomen. After that collision with his opponent, he wasn't sure how many ribs he had broken.
“Fifth-Stage Body Technique, combat power, physical strength... he’s actually an Ability User!” Cautious's eyes flickered with a hint of surprise, and his expression immediately turned serious.
“Cautious, I can’t take him on. You need to go find someone!” Ye Yu gritted his teeth and stood up, enduring the pain. As a member of a special forces unit, this level of pain was not enough to keep him down.
Cautious paused for a few seconds before speaking. “According to my calculations, if he attacks again, it will only take two seconds to kill you!”
Ye Yu was taken aback. He knew Cautious's calculating abilities; if that were the case, he wouldn’t survive three seconds!
“Fortunately, I had a nagging feeling something was off. Last night, I forged the Phantom Blade for you!” Cautious said, and suddenly a thin blade appeared in Ye Yu's line of sight. The top of the blade was a twenty-centimeter-long object that looked like metal but wasn’t; it was the handle!
“Phantom Blade!” Ye Yu exclaimed, finally understanding what Cautious had been up to last night.
Cautious nodded and handed the Phantom Blade to Ye Yu. Just then, the shadow below finally moved! The earlier exchange of blows had affected the shadow as well, requiring a moment to recover.
“Whoosh—” Before he arrived, the sound came first! Ye Yu took the Phantom Blade and didn’t have time to think. He pushed off the ground with both feet and shot toward the shadow like a streak of light!
In the next moment, a nearly transparent beam of light sliced toward the shadow! At that moment, the shadow's arm suddenly expanded significantly and swung down toward this beam of light!
“Slash—” It sounded as if a sharp blade had cut through fruit; the arm that blocked the Phantom Blade was instantly severed and fell to the ground!
Seeing this, Ye Yu was momentarily stunned. The Phantom Blade truly lived up to its reputation; with just one strike, it displayed such power!
