In a moment of dazed clarity, a brilliant flash of insight surged through Ye Yu's mind. At that instant, an exhilarating sensation swept over his entire body.
In that moment, a miraculous scene unfolded. The high-speed metal bullet, which had been racing forward, suddenly came to a halt. Yet in the next heartbeat, it moved again, this time even faster! However, the bullet was not flying towards Ye Yu; instead, it was hurtling back towards the Trench Coat Man!
Though the events transpired in less than a breath's time, both individuals present were remarkably quick-witted, seemingly stretching the duration of time itself.
In reality, the bullet had only traveled halfway out of the gun when it began to reverse course! A flicker of astonishment crossed the Trench Coat Man's face, but his expression changed quickly as he prepared to retaliate. Just as he noticed the bullet speeding back towards him, a flash of brilliance ignited in his eyes!
Almost simultaneously, the bullet came to a stop. At that moment, a fierce shout rang in the Trench Coat Man's ears: "Die!"
The deep voice reverberated like thunder, shaking the very core of the Trench Coat Man! Before the echo of that fierce shout faded, the bullet that had already halted shot back toward him once more!
This time, the bullet was faster and more ferocious. The Trench Coat Man's face flickered with terror as he realized he could not withstand the oncoming projectile!
A sinister expression crossed Ye Yu's face, his eyes darkening with malice. Then, in an instant, the golden metal bullet accelerated!
Just then, a shadow suddenly shot out from one side! The bullet that had been hurtling toward the Trench Coat Man vanished in an instant!
A faint thud echoed as something struck flesh, and soon the scent of fresh blood filled the air. Ye Yu's eyelids twitched as he looked at the Trench Coat Man's left hand; a drop of an indiscernible liquid fell from his fingertips onto the ground. In that moment, Ye Yu understood that in that critical instant, his opponent had managed to block the bullet with his palm. However, it was clear that in doing so, he had sustained an injury.
Ye Yu's heart hardened as he prepared to strike again but found himself unable to move after just shifting slightly. It felt as though an invisible force had bound him. He could sense its presence but could not identify what kind of power it was. Although his Mental Power could achieve similar feats, it was evident that this was not Mental Power restraining him!
"Are you an Ability user?" Ye Yu asked urgently, a hint of anxiety creeping into his voice.
"Hmph!" Unexpectedly, the other party did not answer his question but instead stepped closer to Ye Yu. Suddenly, Ye Yu saw a glint in the opponent's hand as a gleaming dagger appeared. Clearly, this person had an obsessive fondness for classical weapons. Even after nearly being killed by Ye Yu moments ago, he still intended to use a traditional weapon to take Ye Yu's life. Although this dagger was older than an antique gun, it seemed more reliable to him.
Ye Yu's mind raced, but at that moment, he found himself unable to break free from the invisible restraints binding him! As he watched the dagger approach his throat, Ye Yu's eyelid twitched, and he immediately spotted a steel pen on a nearby desk.
In the next instant, with a thought, the steel pen floated into the air! Simultaneously, it transformed into a streak of black light and shot toward the Trench Coat Man!
The sound of rushing air filled the office in an instant! However, the opponent's reaction was evidently faster than Ye Yu had anticipated. Just as the pen took flight, he had already noticed!

The Trench Coat Man had lost his patience. After slicing through the pen, he twisted his wrist, and the blade of the dagger lunged toward Ye Yu's neck in an instant!
At that critical moment, a shadow like a dark dart shot toward the Trench Coat Man's ear! If this strike hit, it would surely create a hole in his head!
Naturally, the Trench Coat Man was no ordinary person. Just as the half-pen approached, the dagger in his hand blurred again and swiftly intercepted it!

Ye Yu was slightly taken aback; he hadn’t expected that his desperate gamble would still fall short! While Mental Power was indeed powerful, splitting it into two or more streams increased the difficulty exponentially. Even if achieved, its effectiveness would be greatly diminished.

The Trench Coat Man said resentfully, and immediately his previously normal face turned beet red. The blue veins were clearly visible, as if they could burst out at any moment!
