Yama's Wedding
When the two awoke, it was already night. Yao Guang gazed at Xue's sleeping face and recalled how, in the illusion, she had once watched Xue sleep just like this, as if it were only yesterday. Reflecting on past events, Yao Guang felt as though she were in a different world. Was this person truly hers? He was the most beloved deity in heaven, the perfect husband in the hearts of many celestial maidens, the one she had long sought after for so many years. Now he was within her reach, just an arm's length away.
Yao Guang looked at Xue but hesitated to extend her hand. What if this was all just a dream? She could continue to deceive herself; even if it were a dream, it was the most beautiful dream Yao Guang had ever had. How could she bear to interrupt it? She couldn't let go.
"I'm awake." Xue's eyelashes fluttered as he opened his eyes and immediately saw Yao Guang staring at him with admiration. As he reached out to her, she quickly withdrew her hand. "What's wrong?" Xue asked, noticing Yao Guang's sudden retraction.
"Nothing," Yao Guang shook her head, signaling that she was fine.

He understood! Yao Guang was pleasantly surprised to realize that Xue knew about her worries and insecurities. Though it was just a few short words, they miraculously comforted Yao Guang's heart. Yes, he was by her side. Regardless of the past or future, none of that mattered; what mattered now was that Xue was here with her. Yao Guang felt like a fool; all she had ever wanted was to be by Xue's side. Now that her wish had been fulfilled, why should she torment herself?
Seeing Yao Guang's expression, Xue didn't know why she had looked so worried when he first woke up, but now Yao Guang seemed calm.
"Yao Guang," Xue said as he supported her shoulders and guided her to sit directly in front of him.
"I've asked Xiao Yao Hao to announce your death to the outside world," Xue continued. After saying this, he looked at Yao Guang with some concern, fearing that she might blame him for declaring her death without reason.

By spreading the rumor of your death, Xiao Yao Yu will surely be unable to resist coming to investigate at Xiao Yao Villa. We can take this opportunity to capture him." Xue laid out the plan he had discussed with Xiao Yao Hao in detail.
"Xue, why don't you just use magic to find his whereabouts? Wouldn't that be more convenient?" Yao Guang felt that since Xiao Yao Yu was so cunning, it would be faster for Xue to directly use magic. Besides, Xiao Yao Yu had killed so many people; using magic would only be acting in accordance with the law.

"Alright, I'll listen to you. What do you need me to do?" Yao Guang didn't fully agree with Xue's reasoning, but he understood that Xue's actions were ultimately for his own good. After all, not using magic wasn't a big deal; Xue was highly skilled and could handle dangers without it. "Just remember to stay safe in your room and take good care of yourself," Xue habitually ruffled Yao Guang's hair.
