"Well, this is how things turned out!" Jun Ruo explained to the people at Bandit Hideout. 0

No matter what Jun Ruo said, the scholar refused to leave, insisting on repaying Jun Ruo for saving his life. He kept repeating, "A gentleman does not forget a favor." Jun Ruo initially thought about abandoning him and leaving, but upon seeing the scholar's injuries, she realized that if she left him alone in the woods, he would likely be in danger at night. Jun Ruo certainly did not want to go through the trouble of saving him only for him to die inexplicably later. 0

Thus, things developed into their current state, with the scholar bowing and greeting everyone at Bandit Hideout with a friendly demeanor. 0

"Head of the Family, what is this person's name?" Old Five asked Jun Ruo. 0

What was his name? It seemed she hadn't asked yet. 0

"Hey, scholar, what is your name?" As soon as she spoke, the brothers below fell silent. Their leader had brought back a mysterious person without even knowing his name or where he came from. They had to remember that they were at Black Wind Stronghold, a den of thieves and a target of government wanted lists. 0

"I am from Jiangnan, Yi Mo," the scholar replied calmly with a smile. 0

Jun Ruo looked at Yi Mo's smile and felt an inexplicable sensation in her heart, as if a cat had scratched her. What was happening? She felt like she couldn't breathe! How could this fool's smile suddenly look so charming? It must be that she had seen too many rough men in Bandit Hideout; now encountering someone so gentle and refined was a bit overwhelming. 0

At that moment, Jun Ruo was lost in her thoughts and completely overlooked the happiness she felt when she first heard Yi Mo wanted to stay. 0

And so, Yi Mo remained at Bandit Hideout. 0

At first, everyone was skeptical about the man saved by their Head of the Family. Who knew what he had done before? Just because the Head of the Family saved him didn’t mean he could stick around without question; they were unsure of his intentions! 0

However, gradually, everyone began to like him. He was simply too likable; his temperament was gentle. The children at Bandit Hideout enjoyed playing with him every day. Even the most mischievous kids behaved themselves around him. Moreover, as a scholar with talent, he inspired the children who previously had no interest in studying. Their teacher had been struggling with them for ages. Ever since Yi Mo volunteered to teach at the schoolhouse, the children started flocking there whenever they had free time. 0

"At the beginning of humanity, nature is inherently good; people are similar by nature but differ through their experiences..." 0

Jun Ruo sat in the tree, secretly watching Yi Mo teach the children below in the study hall as they recited the Three Character Classic. 0

Dressed in white with dark patterned sleeves, Yi Mo sat on the ground, her gaze lowered as she immersed herself in the world of the children. Her long and graceful fingers held the book, and her long eyelashes cast a delicate shadow on her face, creating an alluring curve. As she moved with the rhythm of her voice, every time she lifted her head, it took one's breath away—what a stunningly beautiful face! Yet, there was something fleeting in her eyes that eluded capture but invited curiosity. Unbeknownst to them, people were drawn in, captivated by her presence. 0

Jun Ruo sat dazed in the tree, watching Yi Mo, unaware of how much time had passed. 0

Yi Mo was focused on teaching the children when suddenly a startled cry came from outside. "Ouch!" 0

Everyone was startled and rushed outside to see what had happened. They found Jun Ruo sprawled on the ground in a starfish position. 0

"Jun Ruo, what happened?" Yi Mo exclaimed in shock. 0

"Hahaha, Sister Jun Ruo took a big tumble!" The surrounding children burst into laughter at the sight of Jun Ruo. 0

Yi Mo looked at the slightly embarrassed girl before her. When they first met, Yi Mo had thought Jun Ruo was an unrestrained woman. However, she later realized that Jun Ruo's carefree personality was just who she was—living freely without caring about others' opinions. In Jun Ruo, Yi Mo saw many things she had longed for. That day when they first met, Jun Ruo's striking figure had gracefully approached from behind her, dressed in red that showcased her unparalleled beauty. She floated past everyone like a gentle breeze; when she drew her sword, an air of solemnity filled the space. Her originally beautiful face revealed a faint smile that enchanted all who beheld it. In that moment, not only did Jun Ruo captivate her enemies, but she also carved a place for herself in Yi Mo's heart. 0

"Get up," Yi Mo said as she extended her hand to help Jun Ruo off the ground. 0

Seeing Yi Mo's outstretched hand, Jun Ruo shyly accepted it and stood up, brushing off the grass that clung to her clothes. 0

Jun Ruo felt her face was definitely flushed, a burning sensation spreading across her cheeks. How could she be so foolish? 0

Just moments ago, while perched in the tree, she had been so engrossed in watching Yi Mo that she lost track of time. By the time she realized it, the sun was nearly setting. In a hurry to climb down, she neglected to notice that her legs had gone numb from sitting too long. One misstep later, Jun Ruo tumbled from the tree. The thought of Yi Mo witnessing her clumsiness made her want to disappear. 0

Yi Mo looked at the blushing Jun Ruo before him; it was the first time he had seen her so shy, and it was captivating in its own way. Her beautiful brows, usually serene, now held a hint of embarrassment. Throughout his life, he had encountered many beauties—some graceful and elegant, others vibrant and alluring—but Jun Ruo was different. She possessed a unique charm, blending youthful sweetness with a touch of boldness. 0

"Jun Ruo's face is so red! Jun Ruo's face is like a tomato!" The innocent remarks from the children only deepened her embarrassment. She wished for a hole to hide in. 0

"Head of the Family, are you alright?" Seeing Jun Ruo’s face as red as if stained with blood, Yi Mo asked with concern. 0

"You can just call me by my name," Jun Ruo replied, feeling awkward at being addressed as Head of the Family. Before she could think it through, she blurted out her hope that Yi Mo would call her by her name. As soon as the words left her mouth, she regretted them—would this frighten him? 0

To her surprise, Yi Mo smiled and called out to her, "Jun Ruo." Hearing her name from his lips sounded sweeter than ever before. It filled her with joy, akin to indulging in a mountain of candied fruit; not only did it taste sweet on her tongue, but it also warmed her heart. 0

"Yi Mo," Jun Ruo responded softly, calling his name in return. 0

"Mm." 0

The two exchanged smiles, their eyes meeting in a moment of shared understanding. (To be continued.) 0
