A few people were anxiously gathered here, while Yao Guang was alone in Yao Guang Palace. Although she had just fallen asleep, she was still not at ease. 0

At first, when Yao Guang drifted off, she felt comfortable, but soon an inexplicable fire surged from the depths of her heart. Even in her dreams, if someone had been nearby, they might have noticed her furrowed brows and the various colors that flickered across her body. Her hands were clenched into tight fists. It felt as if her entire being was being roasted over a fire. 0

She struggled incessantly, trying to escape the pain within her, but it was as if something bound her, preventing her from breaking free from this force. The scorching sensation swept over her like a wave. 0

“Ugh—” Yao Guang let out a muffled groan of pain, her body tensed up as she clutched the bedcovers. The heat felt as if it were burning from within, making her feel as though she was on the brink of death. This sensation was akin to falling meteors slowly burning out in their final moments of existence. 0

Xue was discussing matters with several Yama Kings in the Underworld when he suddenly felt a sharp pain in his heart. He calculated quickly and realized something was wrong—Yao Guang was in trouble! With no time to continue his discussions with the King of Hell, he hurriedly soared through the clouds toward the palace. 0

“It seems our Ten Kings of Hell have already been stirred by mortal feelings,” remarked a few behind Xue, watching him rush away with smiles. 0

At that moment, it was uncertain whether the love between these two would bring fortune or disaster. 0

Shu and several other Star Lords had decided to conceal everything from Yao Guang. It wasn't until they regained their senses that they remembered to check on her. 0

When they pushed open the door, they were shocked by what they saw inside. 0

Yao Guang, who had long since fallen into a coma, had rolled off the bed onto the cold floor. She looked as if she had been pulled from water; her hair was wet and clung to her body, her eyes tightly shut, and her face twisted in apparent agony. 0

The bedding that had once adorned the bed was now in tatters; it was completely destroyed. A gust of wind blew in, lifting the scattered cotton that lay all around. It was evident how much pain Yao Guang had endured without their knowledge. 0

Yao Guang's tightly clenched hands bore nails that had dug into her palms until they bled, yet this did nothing to alleviate her suffering. 0

Looking around, Yao Guang's room was in complete disarray; everything inside had been smashed or broken beyond recognition—nothing remained intact. 0

Shu hurried over and helped Yao Guang up from the ground. The moment he touched her, he felt an unusual heat radiating from her body. 0

What was happening? Just a few hours ago, Yao Guang had been perfectly fine. How could she have changed so drastically in such a short time? 0

Before leaving, he had set up barriers throughout the Yao Guang Palace to protect her. While this had kept her safe, it also prevented her from calling for help. He had no idea how long she had been in this state! 0

If it weren't for Kaiyang insisting on coming to see Yao Guang, she would have been alone in this cold palace... 0

Yao Guang seemed to sense someone approaching, but her body felt as if it had been rolled in fire. She slightly lifted her eyelids, but the sweat-soaked lashes clung to her eyes, obscuring her view of the person before her. She could only feel that it was Shu. She wanted to say something, but she lacked even the strength to smile. 0

"What on earth is going on?" Xue rushed into Yao Guang's palace without catching her breath. To her shock, the scene before her was one of chaos. Seeing Shu holding Yao Guang on the ground made her feel as if her breath was about to stop. What had happened here? 0

Xue stumbled toward Yao Guang, and as she entered the room, she immediately sensed the extraordinary heat emanating from Yao Guang's body. This was... 0

Xue quickly took Yao Guang from Shu's arms. 0

Yao Guang felt dazed and could sense nothing around her. However, she recognized the person holding her; it was him, the unique scent belonging to Xue. Even without seeing him, she could feel it was Xue. 0

Yao Guang wanted to comfort Xue, unaware of how worried he must be seeing her like this. But she simply didn't have the strength left; even reaching out to touch Xue felt impossible. 0

Suddenly, pain surged through her like a tidal wave, fiercer than before. It felt as if every piece of flesh on her body was being sliced away with a knife, each wound being seared by fire. Unable to hold back any longer, Yao Guang let out a moan as she bit down hard on her already trembling lip. 0

Xue watched in anguish as Yao Guang's lips bled profusely from where she had bitten them. 0

"Ah... ahhh!" Yao Guang screamed in Xue's embrace. Her once fair skin now bore spots of crimson that seeped through every pore. Her arms, neck, and even face were flushed red; she looked as if she had been soaked in blood. Yet everyone present did not show fear at this sight; they only gazed at Yao Guang with hearts full of concern. 0

Yao Guang could no longer endure the pain; it had dulled all other sensations except for the excruciating agony coursing through her. She struggled and began banging her head against the ground. Seeing this, Xue quickly shielded Yao Guang's head with his hands, but before long, his hands were drenched in blood. 0

Shu watched as Yao Guang suddenly went into a frenzy. He quickly used his magic to restrain her, preventing any movement. However, this proved futile; Yao Guang thrashed her body desperately, letting out furious screams, "Ahhh... Ahhh..." 0

Yao Guang had lost her mind and no longer knew where she was. All she felt was a fire burning within her, consuming her from the inside. She desperately wished for something cold to alleviate her torment, but everything in the palace had been destroyed by her own chaos. With nothing left, Yao Guang could only roll on the ground, but the white jade floor did nothing to ease her suffering. Everywhere she passed had already been heated by the temperature radiating from her. 0

Xue grasped Yao Guang's hand, which was now red and blistered from the intense heat emanating from her. He felt as if his hand were submerged in a cauldron of boiling oil from the Underworld, illustrating just how fierce Yao Guang's temperature was. 0

Trapped in this spot by Xue, Yao Guang was filled with extreme dissatisfaction. Her mind was devoid of any coherent thought; all she could feel was the searing heat and pain. She shook her head violently, letting out a heart-wrenching cry. 0

At that moment, Yao Guang had regained her celestial form. Her cries infused with magic resonated beyond the palace walls, scaring various celestial beasts outside Yao Guang Palace into a frenzy. Birds took flight while beasts on the ground bolted away in terror. 0

Shu and Xue released their magical powers but were not affected by the chaos; they could only watch helplessly as Yao Guang suffered. An anxious feeling began to rise within Xue's chest. 0

Seeing Yao Guang in such agony left Shu feeling powerless as well. 0

This cannot continue. 0

Shu turned to Xue and said, "Xue, I need you to handle things here while I go find the Destiny Keeper." 0

Xue nodded at Shu's words, focusing all his energy on Yao Guang and ignoring everything else around him. 0

With that, Shu hurried off to find the Destiny Keeper. 0

Moments later, he returned holding someone by the collar. 0

Celestials preferred to fly through the air rather than be grabbed by the neck and tossed about like this. 0

Moreover, this particular individual had just been leisurely reading and listening to music in their own palace when Shu appeared behind them with an ominous expression and unceremoniously pulled them over. 0

Before he could fully comprehend the situation, he found himself staring at a scene of utter chaos. Even though the Destiny Keeper was usually quite bold, this level of shock was overwhelming. 0

Xue noticed that Shu had brought over a young man from the Azure Fir, and with a thought, he realized that this must be the Destiny Keeper's Star Lord that Shu had mentioned earlier. 0

"Quick, check on Yao Guang," Shu said darkly to the Destiny Keeper in front of him. 0

Wait, he wasn't someone who managed the medical hall! 0

"You should go find Taishang Laojun; that would be more appropriate." 0

"Come here quickly!" Xue urged the Destiny Keeper. Although he didn't understand why Shu hadn't gone to find Taishang Laojun, he knew that Shu was more aware of the situation in the courtyard than he was. 0

Xue was only concerned about what had happened to Yao Guang; he no longer cared who came to check on him. 0

Yao Guang's condition showed no signs of improvement. On the contrary, due to excessive pain, Yao Guang was now close to a state of exhaustion. Perhaps the wave of pain had just passed, as Yao Guang lay weakly in Xue's arms, already slipping into a semi-conscious state. 0

"Alright, alright, don't panic. I'll take a look," the Destiny Keeper said. It was clearly a matter concerning Big Dipper, yet it fell upon him as Southern Dipper to resolve the trouble. The Destiny Keeper felt a special pang of sympathy for himself; he already had too much on his plate with Southern Dipper matters but still had to be dragged into this. 0

Looking at the mess on the ground, the Destiny Keeper resigned himself and cautiously cast a spell as he walked over, carefully avoiding some debris along the way. After much effort, he finally reached Yao Guang's side. There was also someone nearby who seemed annoyed at how slowly he was moving, gazing at Yao Guang with concern while glaring fiercely at him. (To be continued.) 0
