Shen Chengzhou thought it was Shen Dagen who had called the police, and he tightly gripped his neck, shouting angrily, "So you actually called the cops on me! If I get caught, none of you will escape. Even if I die, I’ll drag you down with me!"
Upon hearing this, Shen Dagen and Li Xiaomei were immediately terrified and scrambled to run away.
But Shen Chengzhou clung to their legs, refusing to let go no matter how hard they tried to pull away.
As the sound of police sirens grew louder, Li Xiaomei suddenly hesitated for a moment.
A few seconds later, she suddenly pushed Shen Chengzhou and Shen Dagen off the high building with all her might!

I stared at her in disbelief, shocked into silence.
Those were two living lives, just pushed off the building like that.
What frightened me even more was that she had noticed the phone in my hand!

"Don't come any closer! The police are on their way. If you dare to move against me now, you'll be digging your own grave."
"Heh, anyway, Shen Chengzhou and Shen Dagen are already dead. You're not going to make a difference."
"I'll say you lured them here to engage in prostitution, and when the price wasn't settled, you pushed them down the stairs."

Before Li Xiaomei could finish her sentence, she was suddenly struck down by a heavy blow.
Turning around, she was shocked to see that it was Shen Chengzhou!
Shen Chengzhou's face was covered in blood, startling her. She screamed for help while pushing Shen Chengzhou towards the window.
Seeing that the police had arrived downstairs, Shen Chengzhou pulled out a knife and lunged it towards Li Xiaomei's chest.
"I told you, even if I die, I'm taking you down with me. Let's go to hell together!"
Li Xiaomei instantly spat out blood, left powerless to fight back.
Then came two heavy thuds.
I was so frightened by this scene that my limbs went weak, and I fainted.
Just before I closed my eyes completely, I caught a glimpse of the Five-Star Badge flashing by.
Finally, I could feel at ease.
The three of them died on the spot. I handed over the secretly recorded video to the police and fully explained the entire incident from beginning to end.
The police confirmed through blood tests that Shen Chengzhou was indeed not related by blood to Shen Dagen or Li Xiaomei.
Upon learning the full story, the relatives of the the Shen Family were only willing to handle the funeral arrangements for Shen Dagen and Li Xiaomei; no one wanted to take care of Shen Chengzhou.
Feeling a pang of compassion, I took it upon myself to cover his funeral expenses.
While sorting through his belongings, I unexpectedly discovered his diary. It was then that I realized he was not an orphan but had been abandoned.
As I read through the diary filled with his cries for help and longing, my heart ached.
I buried the diary along with a sunflower seed in a pot, waiting for the warmth of spring to bring forth new life.
After going through all these experiences, I concluded that making money suited me better. Last month, I upgraded the store's decor, and this month, I opened two more branches.
By the following spring, I had paid off my mortgage ahead of schedule, and with my spirits lifted, I no longer needed medication for my illness.
Now, I rely on no one and let no one take advantage of me. Each day, I count my money until my hands cramp, waking up smiling from my dreams.
Looking at the sunflowers thriving on my windowsill, I feel freer and more exhilarated than ever before.
My sister shines beautifully on her own; every day from now on will be the fulfilling life I've always wanted!
