Setting aside the troubles with the Steel Cannon, Li Hong soon encountered another headache.
The bed in his rented apartment was occupied by Loli. So where were he and Eastern Maiden supposed to sleep?
Looking at the unfriendly gazes of Roshifu and Eastern Maiden, Li Hong felt a bit awkward. He hadn't considered this issue yet; he had been so focused on how to accommodate Loli that he completely forgot about the two "brothers" who were staying at his place.
Now, he had generously given up his own bed, but it resulted in all three of them having nowhere to sleep.
"Are you really planning to make us sleep on the floor while you cuddle with Loli?" Eastern Maiden asked in a somewhat melancholic tone.
"Don't say that, it's too cringy..." Roshifu chimed in.
"…"
Li Hong felt helpless. His place was too small to accommodate them all, so he had no choice but to ask these two guys, who had returned to their male forms, to step outside for the time being.
He pulled out two hundred yuan and handed it to Roshifu. "Alright, you two go stay at a hotel. I'll just sleep on the floor at the office."
Roshifu took the money and curiously asked, "Aren't you going back? Isn't that your favorite Loli?"
Li Hong felt a headache coming on and retorted, "What do you think I am? She's my nominal daughter! No matter how crazy I get, I can't do anything to her."
"That’s not certain; you might just be trying to get rid of us so you can make a move on her."
"Whatever you think. We're leaving now." Eastern Maiden stood up and pulled Roshifu toward the door.
"Wait! I need to remind you of something..."
As Roshifu reached the door, he suddenly remembered something and turned to Li Hong with a teasing grin. "Three years minimum, maximum penalty of death, you know."
Then, the two of them burst into laughter and pushed the door open, leaving only Li Hong behind in the office, looking dazed.
"To hell with three years minimum and maximum penalty of death," he muttered under his breath before heading upstairs.
The serialization of "Goddess Alliance: Who Can Compete?" had already begun, and now he needed to check on the development progress of Mark and the others. After all this time working on "Goddess Alliance," he wondered if it would be ready to launch by the end of the month.

Upon arriving at the Thirteenth Floor of Baisheng Building, Li Hong pushed open the door and ran into a hurried Tiamat.
"Hey, what's with the rush? It's late at night; what are you up to?" Li Hong asked.
Tiamat lifted his weary head and curiously replied, "Boss, what brings you here?"
"Enough chit-chat. How's it going with 'Goddess Alliance'? Will it be ready by the end of the month?" Li Hong cut off Tiamat's greeting with a direct question.
Tiamat scratched the back of his head, looking troubled. "The game has finished testing, but it seems we've run into a problem."
"What kind of problem?" Li Hong asked with interest.
This shouldn't be happening. If there were any issues, they should have been discovered long ago when they were operating League of Legends in Shroud World. "Goddess Alliance" was essentially just a re-skinned version of League of Legends; what could possibly go wrong?
“Voice acting, boss! The previous heroes had powerful voices, but now that we’re changing to the Goddess Alliance, that won’t work…” Tiamat said gloomily.
“Hmm, that is indeed a big problem.”
Li Hong pondered for a moment, realizing the seriousness of the issue, and asked, “Do you have a solution?”
As they walked towards the studio, Tiamat explained, “Not yet. In our Goddess Alliance, all the heroes are male, but the voice acting needs to be high-pitched and squeaky, which makes it hard to find.”
“Ask me… cough cough, I mean ask Soulmate!” Li Hong almost let slip a secret but quickly recovered.
That damn slip could have revealed something serious; thankfully, he was clever enough to shift the blame onto Soulmate.
Tiamat’s eyes lit up as she suddenly realized, “Good idea! Boss, now that you mention it, Sweet Potato Films actually has quite a few of those special talents.”
With this thought in mind, Tiamat didn’t care that it was already nighttime and hurried downstairs.
“Let’s hope this isn’t a terrible idea,” Li Hong said helplessly.
Just thinking about those originally fierce male heroes in the Goddess Alliance turning into squeaky-voiced oddities was quite unsettling.
Playing such a game—would it lead to nightmares or spring dreams?
Li Hong mused that given his preferences, he would probably have spring dreams. If he felt this way, other players likely would too.
“This is truly a wonderful gaming experience; players will treat the heroes they control like their girlfriends,” Mark commented after learning about Li Hong’s communication with Tiamat.
"Am I the only one who thinks this game is going to bend the world?" A voice echoed from the Reincarnation Watch on Li Hong's wrist.
"Hey, are you done?" Li Hong asked curiously.
As soon as they exited the world of Journey to the West, 404 had dived into the mysterious Reincarnation Watch with a monster. According to 404, this was to perform a body modification on the creature.
Otherwise, with the explosive power of that monster, it could very well be a ticking time bomb.
The main issue was that this creature was different from Supreme and the others; it wouldn’t lose its strength. That’s why 404 wanted to carry out a modification.
"Yeah, it's almost done. You'll see it tomorrow, but before that, I think you should prepare a nest. Of course, if you're willing to sleep with a Flame Golem, then that's on you," 404 said with a laugh.
"Okay, I understand," Li Hong nodded in acknowledgment.
"Boss, who are you talking to?" Mark asked, looking around.
He could only hear 404's voice but couldn't see anyone, which felt extremely strange.
404 materialized from the Reincarnation Watch and climbed onto Li Hong's head, asking, "Hey buddy, do you recognize me?"
Mark's eyes widened in shock as he pointed at 404. "What the hell, River Crab!"
"Not River Crab! It's clearly River Crab!" Li Hong reminded him somewhat exasperatedly.
How could 404 possibly be related to River Crab at all?
“Oh, so it's a divine beast from Huaxia. No wonder I felt a chill down my spine when I saw it,” Mark said.
Li Hong looked puzzled. Did this Foreigner really understand the River Crab Divine Beast meme?
“Don't look at me like that. Using your words, I'm also an old... Old Driver!” Mark shrugged, a proud expression on his face.
Li Hong nodded, finally understanding why this guy knew about the River Crab Divine Beast meme. He must have visited some risqué websites after coming to Blue Star and encountered the River Crab Deity while looking for food, which is why he understood it.
“Ying ying ying, where there are people, there’s a tower! Ying ying ying, I'm leading the charge! Even if the enemy is numerous and we are few, I can still take down their general amidst the throngs…”
Just as Li Hong and Mark were chatting, a voice filled with shameless pleasure from downstairs suddenly jolted them awake.
Tiamat pushed open the door and turned back to her Soulmate, saying, “Orc, this is the feeling! If you act a little more shy, it would be even more perfect…”
