“What the hell, who created this?” Mark turned back with a grim expression to ask several designers.
These guys must be itching for trouble, daring to tease even the big Boss. Do they want to get themselves killed? And teasing is one thing, but not even changing the name? Do they think everyone is Blind Man?
Tiamat approached, glanced at the notebook in Mark's hand, and frowned. “This isn’t our doing; every new hero project has to go through a full discussion.”
“Then where did this come from? Did someone hack our server and alter the data? Enough! I don’t care what the situation is; fix it quickly!” Mark said angrily.
He had no idea which designer was playing this prank; he thought something serious had happened.
“But we can’t erase this hero!” one designer shrugged helplessly.
Mark was taken aback by this and walked over to the server mainframe, burying his head in operations. After banging on the keyboard for a while without any changes, he froze.
How is this possible? Why can’t he modify or erase data that exists on the server? Could it really be—
As this incredible thought arose, Mark could no longer remain calm.
“Watch this for me; I’m stepping out for a moment and will be back soon. Until I return, no one should touch this issue.”
With that, Mark grabbed his suit jacket from the table and hurriedly left the room.
He needed to call Supreme God, the Shiny Bald Head, to take a look; otherwise, he couldn’t confirm whether his guess was correct. If that bug that suddenly appeared in Goddess Alliance was indeed the missing Boss, that would be fantastic.
Soon after Mark left, Supreme God, Soulmate, and Loli all rushed into the Riot Games server room.
“Where? Where’s Boss?” Soulmate asked first.
Mark followed closely behind and pointed at the monitor in the center of the room. “Boss is right there!”
With that, Mark stepped forward, opened his notebook, and logged back into the Goddess Alliance client. When Soulmate and the others saw that familiar flamboyant figure again, they were all taken aback. That flamboyant figure was none other than Boss!
They were left in disbelief, wondering how Li Hong had ended up in the Goddess Alliance. Could it be that the void he fell into led directly to the world of the Goddess Alliance?
The various questions created an unusual silence in the room. This phenomenon truly shattered their understanding. If they weren't certain that the figure on the screen was indeed Li Hong himself, they would never have believed that he had crossed into a game.
Loli's eyes were filled with surprise; she had no idea what had happened to her uncle. Why had he suddenly transformed into a game character?
However, looking at Li Hong's cute and soft appearance on the screen, Loli suddenly thought that it wasn't so bad for her uncle to look like this! At least he seemed cuter than before!
She gently moved the mouse pointer over Li Hong's character. In that instant, Li Hong, who had been frozen before, suddenly sprang to life.
"You bunch of fools! You can see me, yet you don't even think to move the mouse so I can move? I'm about to cry from being stuck in this damn place! If my daughter hadn't come to do something, would you have even realized I'm alive?" A familiar male voice suddenly came from the computer speakers.
Soulmate and the others turned around in surprise at the familiar voice. They saw Li Hong on the screen acting as if he were alive, pointing at them and cursing.
"Boss, you’re alive?" Mark asked, his jaw dropping in shock.
Li Hong on the screen was furious, pointing at Mark and shouting, "Mark, I remember you! Were you trying to erase me? If I hadn't reacted in time, you would have almost taken me out!"
Mark felt a chill run down his spine as he stammered an explanation, "Boss, let me explain! I didn't mean to. Who would have thought you were actually alive? It's not my fault!"
"Enough of that! Hurry up and find a way to get me out of here!" Li Hong said with immense frustration.
He had been ruling over the Three Kingdoms World just fine when suddenly he found himself in a strange place. It was pitch black, and he couldn't see anything; his body felt stiff and immobile.
Soon after, Li Hong sensed something moving around him. Then his vision brightened as he saw Mark and the others staring at him in shock. He wanted to call for help but felt bound by something. He was like a wooden puppet—unable to speak or move.
So, Li Hong could only watch blankly as Mark and the others conversed. Through their discussion, he began to understand where he was.
This dark place was actually the world of the Goddess Alliance!
At that moment, Li Hong nearly spat out a mouthful of blood. What on earth was going on? It couldn't just be a simple crossing over! And why did his title turn into Supreme Humiliation upon arriving in the Goddess Alliance?
Thinking about his embarrassingly humiliating title and skill set made Li Hong feel utterly ashamed.
Supreme God, with his shiny bald head stroking his chin in disbelief, remarked, "Well, this is amusing. I never expected you would end up in a game world—especially one I've never dealt with before."
"Stop rambling! Shiny Bald Head, do you have any way to get me out of here?" Li Hong asked anxiously.
"I can only give it a try; I can't guarantee a hundred percent success," the Supreme God hesitated uncertainly.
"Alright, hurry up!"
Li Hong nodded, and just as he was about to say something else, a swirling vortex suddenly appeared behind him.
A cold female voice from the System reminded him, "You have been chosen by the Summoner. Please prepare for battle!"
"What the hell, no!" Li Hong trembled in fear, shaking uncontrollably.
What did that mean? Did he really have to go to Summoner's Gorge and fight against other heroes?
In an instant, Li Hong suddenly remembered that his current identity seemed to be that of a hero within the Goddess Alliance. This meant he had indeed been selected by a player to be taken to Summoner's Gorge for battle.
