Seeing the furious comments flooding the review section, Li Hong felt quite surprised.
He quickly sent a window shake to his editor, Big Wave Girl, asking if something had happened.
If there wasn’t someone pushing behind the scenes for Who Can Compete? from Goddess Alliance, Li Hong absolutely wouldn’t believe it!
After all, he knew that before Goddess Alliance went online, this book had hardly any audience. The current data, while certainly related to the public beta launch of Goddess Alliance, was likely more significantly influenced by Zhongdian Chinese Network’s push. Big Wave Girl soon received the window shake from Li Hong and curiously replied with several question marks.
“Big Wave Girl, what’s going on with the data for Who Can Compete? from Goddess Alliance? Did you secretly give me a lot of recommendations again?” Li Hong joked as he typed.
On the other side, Big Wave Girl was exasperated and replied sharply, “You loser! What are you thinking about at this hour? Just look at your own book; how many times has it gone on hiatus? How could there still be recommendations?”
“Hey, your attitude isn’t right! I’m a deity after all; what’s wrong with a few hiatuses? As long as I’m still writing, would it kill you to give me a few more recommendations?” Li Hong retorted.
Big Wave Girl could no longer hold back her frustration. After sending several angry emojis, she explained, “We did give your book many recommendations on our website, but the reason for its rise isn’t because of us.”
“Then what’s going on? If it wasn’t you guys pushing it, how could it suddenly become popular?” Li Hong asked in confusion.
He simply couldn’t understand how Who Can Compete? from Goddess Alliance could suddenly gain traction without any push from the website and with Goddess Alliance not even online yet.
It should be noted that Goddess Alliance had only just launched a few days ago. This data clearly couldn’t have accumulated in such a short time. It meant that even before Goddess Alliance went live, this book had already started gaining popularity.
“What on earth is happening?” Li Hong pondered in bewilderment.

After thinking for a moment, Li Hong decided to set aside this confusion for now. It wasn't the time to discuss this, especially since Goddess Alliance had already stopped updating for several days. If he didn't update soon, those lovely readers might start rebelling.
Fortunately, he didn't have to worry too much about the updates. He had already uploaded all the chapters of "Who Can Compete?" from League of Legends to Blue Star. Moreover, he had saved them on his computer, so all he needed to do was copy the saved content into the writer's backend and send it out.
In no time at all, he had copied all the remaining chapters into the draft box and set them up for scheduled release.
He uploaded many chapters at once, causing the scheduled release times to be pushed several months into the future.
"Now there shouldn't be any more interruptions, right? Let's see how they can still criticize me," Li Hong thought with a sense of pride.
After sending out today's update, he stopped worrying about that matter.

Yuewen is such a large group; they might not even look favorably upon Sweet Potato Films. If they really don't care for it, then any discussions about collaboration would be out of the question.

He quickly contacted Big Wave Girl, who was still online.
"Are you there?"
Big Wave Girl was also puzzled, wondering why Li Hong was reaching out to him again after their last conversation.

Big Wave Girl sent a thumbs-up emoji and then said, "Wait a moment, I'll report this to the Editor. I'll have the Editor contact you directly. I can't reach anyone from the Copyright Operations Department, but I can connect you with the Editor."
"That's fine!"
Whether it was the Editor or someone else, Li Hong didn't mind much. After all, they were all high-level personnel and he could engage with them just the same. There wasn't much difference between talking to the Editor and those other people.
Soon, a reply came back from the other side.
"Hello, I am Editor Butt Brother."
Li Hong quickly sent over his question, and after a moment of silence, Editor Butt Brother replied, "So, your Film Company intends to purchase a large number of IPs for film and television development?"
"Yes, that's exactly what I mean," Li Hong affirmed.
At the same time, he informed Brother Butt that he would soon send someone to Moon Literature Headquarters to discuss the copyright matter.
After a while, Brother Butt responded, "Alright, I will notify the Copyright Operations Department. Just send your people over. By the way, what is the name of your Film Company?"
"Uh... Sweet Potato Films!" Li Hong replied somewhat sheepishly.
