You damn lingering soul! Are you afraid there won't be any good show to watch?
Hell's Messenger gave Yu Mo a cold glance, "I don't hit women."
What a good person! Yu Mo just got up from the ground, and lingering soul started laughing.
"Hahaha~"
Yu Mo looked at the two people in front of her with a puzzled expression. She quickly picked up the mirror on the table and, upon seeing her own appearance, revealed a look of embarrassment.
Her face was covered in gray, black soot, making her look like a piece of charcoal!
"Do you think you're good-looking? Take a look at yourself." Yu Mo held the mirror up to lingering soul, and the smile on the person's face instantly disappeared.
"Stop arguing and rest quickly. We still have a long journey ahead tomorrow," Hell's Messenger interrupted.
"Why are we walking? Don't you Hell have cars?" Yu Mo asked quietly.
She had been curious for a long time. This ghostly place surprisingly had no cars. If there was a car, not to mention skeleton hand, even his parents wouldn't recognize what he looked like after being run over by a car.
And if you have a car, you wouldn't be so late to get to Hell!
"Don't say such things in front of others, or you'll be taken away," lingering soul reminded.
"Why?" Yu Mo looked curious, "Can't talk about cars? What a weird rule!"
"Just know that speaking will lead to death, that's all!" the nearby Hell's Messenger said coldly.
Yu Mo saw that he didn't want to explain, so she didn't ask further. Why did this group of people feel like they were still living in ancient times? Suddenly, there was a feeling that speaking the wrong words would lead to beheading.
She looked around and everything was dirty, as if no one had been there for hundreds of years. How can I sleep here? There's not even a bed!
Those two guys are pretty amazing, can they fall asleep just sitting there? Yu Mo looked at the two people in front of her with curiosity.
She walked to the window and was about to open it to look outside when suddenly, a magnetic voice of lingering soul came into her ears.
"If I were you, I definitely wouldn't open the window!" lingering soul whispered.
Yu Mo turned with a puzzled look, and lingering soul added, "Hell's Messenger has set up a barrier outside, there's no safer place than here."
"How did you know? Why didn't I see the barrier?" Yu Mo asked.
"I...guessed," lingering soul said with an embarrassed smile. "Otherwise, why haven't those little paws arrived yet? It must be that wooden guy who set up the barrier, hahaha."
He looked so smug Yu Mo couldn't help but roll her eyes, looking at lingering soul with a mixture of belief and doubt, this guy is definitely not simple.
The next day
Yu Mo was sleeping soundly when suddenly a strange cold wind blew, she opened her eyes to find lingering soul staring at her with two big eyes.
Yu Mo instinctively threw a punch in fear.
"Ah!" lingering soul held their eyes in pain.
Yu Mo quickly apologized, saying, "I'm sorry! I'm sorry, are you okay? I thought there was a bad person!"
"You're really heavy-handed, aren't you?" lingering soul said, pretending to be in pain.
"Does it really hurt? I didn't use much force! Last time, when someone broke your knee, you didn't make a sound. Are you trying to pull a scam?" Yu Mo said, looking wary.
"You're so unreasonable, clearly it was you who hit me!" lingering soul said, pretending to be aggrieved.
"What do you want then?" Yu Mo glared at lingering soul, who was clearly trying to set me up. I need to see what you're up to.
"Then promise me one thing," the lingering soul said with a smirk.
"What thing?" Yu Mo asked calmly.
"I'll tell you when you get to Hell," came the reply.
"You, you, you couldn't possibly like me!" Yu Mo said somewhat embarrassed.
When I was still alive, I was always alone because I was afraid of burdening others due to my illness.
The people she sees the most are doctors and nurses. If someone suddenly says they like her, she really doesn't know what to do.
