All tragedies end in death, while all comedies conclude with marriage. This was a profound saying that flowed from the lips of a great poet many years ago. However, in today's scenario, the anticipated death did not occur, but for the few people in the car responsible for the accident, a tragedy was about to unfold. 0

They looked around in panic and fear at the surrounding members of Hurricane, their hearts sinking into an icy abyss. They were confused; clearly, they had just hit Jufeng, so why had he inexplicably vanished? Wasn't the information they received that he was severely injured and unable to move? And where did these later members of Hurricane come from? It seemed they had fallen into a trap. 0

Trembling, they stepped out of the car, forcing themselves to swallow hard as they moved forward two steps, staring at Jufeng without knowing how to speak. 0

"You don’t need to worry; I’ll handle it for you. The informant you placed beside me has been bribed. The information you received today is all false. I merely lured the wolf out of its den." 0

As Jufeng spoke, his gaze fell on one of the two people who had been following him, a smile in his eyes that seemed to convey Reward. However, the person he looked at immediately changed expression, realizing with dread that he was finished. When had he been bribed? How did Brother Jufeng know he was an undercover agent? When had he been exposed? And what about this car accident? As these thoughts raced through his mind, his brain went blank. 0

Upon hearing Jufeng's words, the murderer felt a slight reduction in panic but was overwhelmed by anger. Their undercover agent was a trusted confidant of the boss, someone who had always been treated well; how could he have been bribed? Those who navigate the underworld often speak of loyalty. One person, filled with rage, stepped forward and threw a punch. 0

The undercover agent tried to explain, but the situation was too precarious for him to speak. Instinctively, he turned to run, but Xue had already sent someone to block his escape route. A member of Hurricane kicked him back into the fray. Stumbling, he collided with a fist coming from behind him; unable to dodge it, a powerful blow struck him on the back of the neck. His body fell like leaves tossed by autumn winds. 0

With a thud, he hit the ground and lost consciousness. 0

The remaining person who had been protecting Jufeng watched in confusion as his companion inexplicably collapsed, still bewildered by what was happening. Only his loose pants betrayed his nervousness as his legs trembled involuntarily. 0

Jufeng raised his head and glanced at the sun, estimating that time was short and they could not afford to delay. He tossed out a command: "Quickly resolve this," then turned and slipped into a car with Xue Yi. 0

At Jufeng's command, the members of Hurricane sprang into action without hesitation. They had trained for this moment; although the murderers were quite skilled, fists alone could not compete with many hands. Moreover, Hurricane's hands were not ordinary; they had been honed through arduous training. Even the hardest stone could be crushed into dust. 0

Outside the car raged a bloody storm; injuries were sustained but no one was killed. Inside the car, however, it felt calm and collected. 0

Xue watched the chaos from a distance with furrowed brows; clearly, this scholarly figure did not relish such violent scenes. Yet this situation was somewhat ironic—if it weren't for his meticulous planning behind the scenes, none of this would have transpired. 0

"Call A-Zheng. It's time to act." 0

Xue took out his phone and dialed. After saying just two words—"Act now"—he hung up. 0

In truth, this was a scheme that Xue had long planned. Even before Jufeng went to Beijing, Xue had focused on internal affairs and discovered that there was a mole within Hurricane. However smart Xue was, he chose not to expose it immediately; instead, he wanted to use this undercover agent for something significant. After Jufeng returned, Xue shared his thoughts with him, and they quickly reached an agreement. Hurricane had just been established and was already under scrutiny; under so many watchful eyes, they couldn't expand outward without justification. Yet remaining stagnant was intolerable for these two young men. Thus unfolded this scene before them. 0

The undercover agent belonged to the Rising Dragon Society, a notorious gang in the vicinity of Huan City University Town, even more powerful than the Red Wolf Gang. From the moment the Hurricane was established, the Rising Dragon Society had been eyeing this new contender with great interest. As an old-school gang, they dismissed the young members of Hurricane, attributing their victory over the Red Wolf Gang to luck and Lu Chun's carelessness. They refused to acknowledge any real strength from Hurricane. Furthermore, Hurricane's low profile since its inception only reinforced the perception that they were easy prey, mere fish on a chopping block. Jufeng deliberately staged a serious injury in front of the undercover agent, leading the Rising Dragon Society to believe that an opportunity had arisen. They would not let it slip by and sent someone to assassinate him, resulting in the tragic scene outside the vehicle. 0

The Rising Dragon Society wanted to take action against Hurricane, but Jufeng had his own motives against them. Previously lacking a reason to strike, now that the Rising Dragon Society had made the first move by attempting an assassination, he had ample justification to retaliate. He called Lezheng, signaling Hurricane's surprise attack on several of the Rising Dragon Society's strongholds. With a legitimate reason in hand, he was unafraid of any backlash or rumors from other gangs. 0

As the chaos outside began to wind down, Xue noticed Jufeng was resting with his eyes closed and reminded him, "Feng, when are we heading to see the Director?" 0

Hearing Xue's reminder, Jufeng slowly opened his eyes. 0

"Is the money ready?" 0

"Yes, after deducting the medical expenses for Wenming and two large expenditures for buying a villa, everything else we can use is here." 0

"Alright then, let's go now." 0

... 0

At Gui Ming Residence, a fresh and elegant high-end tea house in Washing City, there were not many tables; each room was independent and received rave reviews. 0

Jufeng sat in one of the tea rooms while Xue stood behind him with his hands hanging loosely at his sides. It wasn't that Jufeng forbade him from sitting; rather, Xue insisted on this position as part of their psychological strategy for meeting with the Director. It added weight to the atmosphere. 0

The seat opposite Jufeng remained empty; the Director had yet to arrive. However, five minutes had already passed, clearly indicating that this esteemed individual wanted to assert some authority over him. A smile played at Jufeng's lips—whether from anger or amusement was unclear. His calloused hands rubbed against the rim of his cup in a peaceful manner. 0

After some time had passed, the Director finally arrived late. Jufeng stood up as a sign of politeness and discreetly observed him. 0

With a round face and a large belly—yes, judging by his appearance, today's meeting might go well. 0

"The boss of Hurricane is invited; you should have arrived earlier," said Director Zou with feigned warmth in his first sentence. However, Jufeng knew he was a smiling tiger—beneath that friendly facade lay a ruthless heart. Coming from humble beginnings but having risen to become the police chief of Washing City before turning fifty spoke volumes about his cunning. Of course, this was also due to his wife being the only daughter of a provincial committee member; she had provided him considerable support over the years. 0

"Not at all, Director Zou, you are too polite. It is only right for us juniors to wait for you." 0

Jufeng naturally did not get angry; he smiled and invited the director to take a seat, calling for a freshly brewed cup of good tea. 0

"Director Zou, how do you find this new tea? I hear it’s the first batch of tea from early autumn, and the taste is quite pleasant." 0

The director smiled slightly, guessing in his heart what Jufeng had called him for. It was likely just to build connections and seek future favors, of course, with some red envelopes involved. However, it seemed that today he could not accept any red envelopes because the leader of the Rising Dragon Society had a good relationship with Director Zou and had contributed quite a bit. Although money was a good thing, the director still understood some boundaries. 0

"This tea tastes good; it's rare for Brother Jufeng to have the leisure to come here for tea." 0

Director Zou joked lightly. Hearing this, Jufeng secretly laughed in his heart but suddenly put on a sorrowful expression, a change so swift that it left Director Zou speechless. 0

"To be honest, Director Zou, I have my own troubles as well. Just earlier, someone tried to run me over on the highway. Fortunately, I am blessed and managed to escape a disaster." 0

Jufeng vented his grievances, but to Director Zou's ears, it sounded different. He was somewhat aware of the Rising Dragon Society's plans but did not expect Jufeng to emerge unscathed and immediately seek him out; the implications were quite intriguing. 0

Not giving Director Zou much time to ponder, Jufeng continued, "Director Zou, I know you oversee the public security in Washing City. Someone wants to kill me; if I remain silent any longer, my brothers will be in danger too. So I kindly ask you to show some mercy and give me a favor; I assure you I won't let you down." 0

As he spoke, Xue took out a black leather case from the corner and placed it on the table. 0

Seeing this setup, Director Zou immediately understood that Hurricane intended to take action against the Rising Dragon Society and hoped he would turn a blind eye. However, he had always maintained a close relationship with the Rising Dragon Society; he feared that betraying them would lead to retaliation. 0

More importantly, he did not believe Hurricane would be a match for the Rising Dragon Society. If he helped Hurricane and they ended up winning later on, he would find himself in an impossible situation. 0

After contemplating for a while, Director Zou's expression suddenly hardened as he exclaimed, "Jufeng, what do you take me for? How could I disregard law and principle for this little money? Let’s not discuss this matter further. Since it's your first offense, I won’t hold it against you. But if you stir up trouble in Washing City, I will definitely intervene." 0

Having said that, Director Zou stood up and prepared to leave. However, Jufeng immediately stood up as well and said something that made Director Zou pause in his tracks. 0

"How is Sister Mei from Qingxian Elegant Residence doing lately?" 0

Director Zou was taken aback. The woman surnamed Mei was his lover, a secret known to no one. How did Jufeng find out? 0

"Director Zou, if your wife learns about Sister Mei, the outcome will surely be quite spectacular," Jufeng said, laughing alongside Xue Lang, causing Director Zou's face to turn a deep shade of anger. 0

"You dare!" 0

Jufeng stopped laughing, his gaze turning cold as he fixed it on Director Zou. "Whether I dare or not is irrelevant. If Director Zou is interested, why not take a gamble?" 0

With that, Jufeng was the first to leave the tea room. Xue patted the Black Box on the table and followed him out, leaving Director Zou standing there in shock and fury. 0

Silence filled the room, with only the Black Box stubbornly remaining in place. 0
