The device hanging from Yu Jianyuan's ear was a real-time communication headset produced by Jinhai Industries. It had excellent signal quality and strong anti-eavesdropping capabilities, making it an essential tool for engaging in certain special activities.
For instance, during the current confrontation with the Underworld, it was indispensable.
The Unification Alliance had begun to take action. Bill quickly stuffed his mouth with food upon hearing this and hastily finished what was supposed to be a simple dinner.
"What’s the situation now?" Bill asked after swallowing his food, noticing that Yu Jianyuan had finished communicating with the others.
Yu Jianyuan replied, "Zhao Zhen's group has all come out, divided into several batches. It seems the base is likely empty and they are heading this way. Guan Chao's side has also started moving, bringing along everyone they could; they are heading in the same direction."
Bill nodded, not offering further commentary. Although the developments were expected, they had not yet reached a critical point. In fact, he and Yu Jianyuan were uncertain how Zhao Zhen would handle the situation, so they had prepared several plans. They would take measures once they could ascertain Zhao Zhen's actions.
After a while, a scout brought more news, this time seemingly more definitive.
"Zhao Zhen's group has split into two. One batch is following the original route without changes, while the other has unexpectedly altered its direction and seems to be heading toward our headquarters."
After receiving this report, Yu Jianyuan and Bill exchanged glances, both revealing expressions of delight. Yu Jianyuan instructed the scout to continue tracking and then switched to a different signal pulse, tuning into Tang Haoran's channel.
"Haoran, you can let the Brothers out now. Implement Plan B and make it more ostentatious."
Tang Haoran received the order and passed it down, prompting Hua Gang to spring into action. Inside the fast-food restaurant, Yu Jianyuan's previously tense heart finally began to relax a bit.
"Brother Bill, it seems Zhao Zhen does have some courage after all; he hasn’t tied all his brothers to himself. That shows a bit of spirit."
Bill chuckled, "It's a pity that he has spirit against enemies but lacks it for his own people. Tonight will surely be a night he remembers for the rest of his life."
The two laughed heartily together, while at that moment, Zhao Zhen was walking in the night breeze when he suddenly sneezed.
"Achoo!"
Zhao Zhen raised his hand to rub his nose, secretly cursing under his breath about the terrible air quality that made him sneeze.
He called over one of his subordinates and asked, "What's the situation over at Hua Gang? Has there been any movement from headquarters?"
With Jiang Fa absent, this subordinate seized the rare opportunity to get closer to Zhao Zhen. Narrowing his eyes and flashing a big grin, he began to speak excitedly.
"Brother Zhao, you truly are a genius! Those thugs from Hua Gang are indeed mobilizing their entire force to our main base. They strut around like they own the place, completely unaware that our brilliant Zhao Alliance Leader has already set a trap for them. When they fall for it, they’ll be furious—Brother Zhao, you’re truly wise!"
Flattery was a hallmark of Zhao Zhen's crew. The blatant praise was obvious to anyone, but Zhao Zhen didn’t mind; in fact, he found it quite refreshing.
"Enough," Zhao Zhen feigned impatience. "Remember, when we get there, be sharp. I want Guan Chao and Yu Jianyuan dealt with first. Understood?"
"Yes, yes!!! With the mighty Brother Zhao leading us, the brothers will surely be bursting with fighting spirit and will chop them all up to feed the dogs."
With flattery in the air, Zhao Zhen snorted coldly, thinking about how the so-called Northeast Alliance Leader and their strategist from Hua Gang were nothing but worthless trash in front of him. He could stomp on them however he pleased; he wouldn’t even give them a chance to beg for mercy. Soon enough, he would be recognized as the youngest and most capable figure in Huaguo’s underworld. Nonsense! He aimed to be the Prince of the Underworld; once he ascended to power, Huaguo would belong to him.
Everyone has an imagination that serves different purposes at different times. That night, Zhao Zhen's imagination was indeed ignited by his subordinate's words—overflowing.

Guan Chao arrived first at the meeting location. By the time he got there, Yu Jianyuan had already prepared a meal.
"Alliance Leader Guan, I didn't expect you really would come! Please, take a seat."
Yu Jianyuan was exceptionally warm upon seeing him. Guan Chao thought to himself that they were all old foxes; what was there to pretend about?
"Brother Yu, there's no need to put on an act anymore. Since we are both here, shouldn't we show our true abilities and end this trouble in Zhangjia City sooner? That way, we can both be free."
Yu Jianyuan feigned confusion at Guan Chao's words, expressing surprise, "Alliance Leader Guan, what do you mean? I genuinely wanted to invite you to our Hua Gang to showcase your skills! I heard you have been feeling down in the Unification Alliance, and it pains me greatly. I wouldn't want such a talented individual to fade away quietly, which is why I arranged tonight's banquet. "Enough!" Guan Chao interrupted Yu Jianyuan angrily. Wasn't Yu Jianyuan emphasizing that he was the victor of the Battle of Chaosheng while labeling himself as the loser? Guan Chao didn't want to hear any more. He knew Hua Gang must have its own plans; in the end, it would just come down to a contest of true strength—who would fear whom?
Guan Chao spoke into a communication device at his collar, "Zhao Alliance Leader, let the Brothers in."
Not long after his words, Zhao Zhen led a group of henchmen into the already cramped room, which was now overcrowded. Yu Jianyuan had only a dozen followers behind him, while Guan Chao also had about a dozen, but Zhao Zhen brought along twenty or thirty men.
"Yu Jianyuan, now that we're all here, shouldn't we prepare for battle? I refuse to believe that in a real fight, I would repeat the mistakes of Zhao City."
Hearing this, Yu Jianyuan quickly replied, "Indeed, now that everyone is present, why isn't Brother Guan making a move? As long as we work together to eliminate this upstart who rose through women’s favor, Zhangjia City will be ours. Hurry, let's act!"
Guan Chao was taken aback by Yu Jianyuan's sudden and nonsensical remarks and retorted sharply, "What nonsense are you talking about! It's barely been a moment; have you lost your mind?"

Seeing Yu Jianyuan and Guan Chao performing their duet, Zhao Zhen couldn't help but interrupt with a sneer, "Keep acting! Even now you still think I'm too naive to see through your schemes? Let me tell you, Guan Chao, I've known about your rebellion for a long time. I've kept you around just to catch you all in one fell swoop! How does that feel? Didn't expect that, did you? Let's see what tricks you can pull now."
Guan Chao was utterly confused; he couldn't understand how Yu Jianyuan and Zhao Zhen had suddenly turned against him. He wanted to defend himself but Yu Jianyuan didn't give him the chance. With a command, the Hua Gang members clashed with Zhao Zhen's men in chaotic combat while Yu Jianyuan shouted one last time, "Brother Guan, I'll be waiting for your good news outside!" before swiftly escaping through the back door.
Once Hua Gang moved, the entire room erupted into chaos. The people brought by Guan Chao were still bewildered when they were ambushed by Zhao Zhen's subordinates. This was not the time for reasoning; even if Guan Chao wanted to explain himself, he never got the chance.
Zhao Zhen led his team out through the back door in pursuit while Guan Chao and his men desperately pushed toward the front door where some of his reinforcements remained.
Unfortunately for him, by the time he reached outside, those reinforcements had already been wiped out by none other than Zhao Zhen.
The scene was chaotic to a certain extent. Guan Chao rushed out of the house, then quickly dashed back inside, using the terrain to his advantage as he plunged into the turmoil at the back door.
Zhao Zhen's subordinates noticed the commotion inside and hurriedly poured out from all directions, almost surrounding the area. Unfortunately, after Yu Jianyuan fled, Guan Chao had also vanished without a trace.
"Damn it!"
Zhao Zhen spat angrily; he had been careless and let both of them escape. Just as he was about to search for Jiang Fa, Yu Jianyuan reappeared, accompanied by most of Hua Gang's forces!
Zhao Zhen's heart sank. Hadn't Hua Gang gone to ambush his headquarters? How did such a large group appear here?
A sense of foreboding washed over him.
