From this moment on, Zheng Yifan's convoy had gained an extra tail. 0

Despite their manpower and strength being somewhat lacking, they still had a vehicle. However, that vehicle was nothing to boast about; it was a bus from the Post-Apocalypse era. It was hard to fathom how they managed to come up with the idea of using it for transportation. The speed was slow, and even with the accelerator pressed to the floor, it struggled to keep up with Zheng Yifan's convoy. If Zheng Yifan had been in a hurry, they would have long since left them in the dust. 0

Not everyone was on the bus, though; two guys were running outside. The bus was packed with their belongings, and the three men crawling on top kept their heads low, eyes scanning the surroundings for any sign of Zombies. The two behind were clearly Superpowered Individuals, holding onto ropes while gliding on their skateboards. Occasionally, when they encountered rough terrain, they would lift their skateboards and run. 0

The technology in this Apocalyptic World had reached an impressive level; the quality of the skateboards was reliable. If they were using domestically produced skateboards from the real world, they would have worn out long ago. 0

The people chasing behind were having a blast, and the warriors in front found some entertainment as well. They used slingshots to shoot at a flag atop the bus—a World Trade Organization flag—which now served only an aesthetic purpose. No one bothered to take it down; they let it flutter in the wind above the bus. 0

Unfortunately, that flag no longer resembled its former self; it had been battered and bruised by the Guard Camp warriors who used high-elasticity rubber bands from discarded military emergency supplies to make their slingshots. 0

They dared not use new supplies recklessly; these were emergency resources, and misusing them could get them kicked out of the Guard Camp. However, the large Fellow slingshots that had already been used were fair game—no one cared if word got out. 0

The large Fellow shot happily, while the three guys on the bus were having a rough time. Occasionally, stones would fall and hit them on the head, causing big bumps; they had already lined up flat against each other with their weapons resting on their heads. They even took off their shoes to balance them on top. 0

The stones shot by the Guard Camp warriors weren't particularly fast or powerful; as long as they blocked them, there was no issue. 0

Zheng Yifan in front couldn't be bothered to intervene. Let them have their fun; it served as a lesson for those Fellows who had almost charged at him earlier. 0

It was utterly reckless for such a large convoy to attempt a robbery; they must have been incredibly bold! 0

Zheng Yifan savored his cigar, lost in thought as the convoy traveled over a hundred kilometers, gradually leaving the Safe Zone behind. 0

The Safe Zone was a hard-won territory, painstakingly cleared by the members of the Hope Gathering Place. This entire area belonged solely to them. In this day and age, claiming land was not a big deal as long as one had the strength to do so. However, only a few truly possessed such power; most people still relied on the larger Gathering Places, trading their acquired resources for other necessities. 0

Anyone with citizenship in the Hope Gathering Place had access to resources that leaders of outside Gathering Places could not offer. They enjoyed the most abundant supplies, with nearly endless food available, ensuring no one would starve. 0

As the vehicle continued its journey, it ventured into the world beyond the Hope Gathering Place, filled with challenges. Zombies lurked in every corner, waiting for a chance to strike, ready to pounce on anyone who passed by and tear them apart. 0

The sound of the vehicle was not loud, yet more and more zombies were being attracted. The road conditions began to worsen, with cars scattered everywhere, many of which had already been cleared away. 0

Although this area was not part of the Safe Zone, it still fell within the exploration range of the Hope Gathering Place. Just because zombies had not been completely eradicated did not mean that the roads were neglected; the first person to rush in had to take on the task of clearing the road; otherwise, they would be unable to pass. The wilderness on either side? That was a joke; it was much easier to clear the road first and then return. The wilderness also had its share of debris, and zombies were plentiful. If they encountered poor road conditions during their return journey, they would be in serious trouble. 0

On the highway, they could floor the accelerator and push through with all their might. However, if they found themselves being pursued without a good road ahead, it would be tantamount to giving up their lives entirely. 0

They would never make such a foolish mistake. Moreover, there were still gains to be made on the highway; those trucks likely contained valuable supplies—large quantities of them. A truck carrying snacks might not seem worth much in a post-apocalyptic world; its cargo might only be valued at tens of thousands. But in this new reality, those snacks became precious commodities; their shelf life typically lasted around three years and remained consumable if they were meat-based snacks or special foods, which were even more valuable. 0

Especially salt and seasonings—their prices had skyrocketed. Zheng Yifan's vehicle moved steadily along; vehicles on the highway were overturned on both sides—none had been properly removed. Most had been toppled by powerful superpowered individuals; as long as traffic was not delayed, they did not care about cleaning up every single car like the warriors from Hope Gathering Place did. 0

Those warriors knew that cars could be sold for money. However, aside from luxury vehicles, they were indifferent; in Hope Gathering Place, such items were priced too low to justify their efforts. 0

But if it were luxury cars from the post-apocalypse? That was a different story altogether. The prices offered by Hope Gathering Place for luxury vehicles were certainly high; each one was marked at a good price. They would never give up valuable supplies that came into their possession. 0

Those vehicles were their trophies. Most of the cars in Zheng Yifan's garage came from such endeavors. Of course, many true luxury cars were retrieved from the hillside villas of wealthy tycoons—those places were real treasure troves filled with items ordinary people would never see in their lifetimes. As for antiques, Zheng Yifan took great care to protect them; within Hope Gathering Place's Hercules Building had become a museum where mutated plants continued to absorb zombie energy. Occasionally, Zheng Yifan would send someone to feed a few Third-Stage Zombies. However, those mutated plants seemed particularly interested in their captive zombies, continuously absorbing energy and leaving them visibly malnourished—each one drooping and no longer resisting but instead sitting vacantly on the ground like fools. 0

Gradually, as they drove away from all cleared areas, zombies and abandoned vehicles became the dominant theme around them. 0

Now, it is finally the moment for Zheng Yifan to officially begin the adventure. 0

At this time, the distance to the Hope Gathering Place is 170 kilometers. (To be continued). 0
