"Everyone, hurry back to the team! Notify the others to come out! Stop hiding; it seems they really will let us go!" The leader, Fellow, waved his hand behind him, and those who had been waiting stepped out from an unknown spot on the ground. 0

Several sewer covers had been pushed aside, and a few dusty figures emerged. 0

Zheng Yifan had long known of their existence and was aware that they were a group of Superpowered Individuals. 0

Their powers were not very strong; the strongest among them only reached Second Tier, while most were First-Level Espers. 0

Of course, there were also some ordinary people, but they were merely Fellows. As for the older Survivors, they had long since perished. 0

"Did that dead woman An Xiaoni follow us? If not, leave her behind. Let's head straight to that Gathering Place; as long as we can get out of this hellhole, anything goes." The leader stepped forward again, his voice noticeably louder. 0

It seemed he didn't want anyone else to hear. 0

Zheng Yifan watched him with interest. 0

There must still be some people inside the factory whom they had maliciously abandoned; he just didn't know who they were. A quick glance was enough for Zheng Yifan to realize that this person was definitely hiding something and wanted to leave those others behind. 0

"If we're going to act, we need to do it quickly. Arrange for the Raging Dragon Exploration Team to take them to the Gathering Place. We need to continue towards Deep City; there are millions of Zombies there. We must infiltrate secretly, and it’s likely I’ll be going alone. The fewer people, the better—don’t attract the Zombies' attention." Zheng Yifan instructed Wang Xiaolong and the others about their itinerary while surveying the factory in front of him. 0

He would ensure everything mechanical was taken care of. But what exactly did they want to hide from leaving here? Zheng Yifan didn’t know; he just knew he had to uncover this secret. 0

Uncovering this secret posed no pressure for Zheng Yifan; it was simply something he would do casually. 0

After a while, those people completely left, excitedly following the warriors of the Raging Dragon Exploration Team, their mouths stuffed with Spicy Strips that Zheng Yifan had brought from the real world. 0

This item had now become a primary source of salt replenishment. As for Salt itself, that was not meant for these poor souls. 0

The Salt at Hope Gathering Place was abundant, yet still expensive. When access to salt wells and coastal areas was impossible, every bag of salt became precious, driving prices ever higher. 0

Zheng Yifan did not wish for the salt industry of the real world to impact the development of the Gathering Place, after all, Hope Gathering Place still needed to grow. It required a large amount of resources, and salt had already become a consumable resource hanging around the necks of every Survivor. The quantity used was not enormous, but with a population base of millions, it was already considered a rare high income. 0

The primary source of income for Hope Gathering Place remained the Superpowered Weapon Manufacturing Factory, also known as Factory One; everything else consisted of various resources that Zheng Yifan had brought back from the real world. 0

Once they left, Zheng Yifan entered each factory and began to stock up extensively. As for those abandoned individuals he wanted to explore, they were secondary. 0

The equipment in each factory was massive and plentiful enough to astonish anyone. With his Storage Space, Zheng Yifan could gather all the resources as if he were merely taking a stroll. 0

The various materials stored were naturally not wasted. Palladium, Rare Earth... all kinds of rare resources were collected by Zheng Yifan into his Storage Space. 0

Of course, the greatest gain was still those machines. It would be very difficult for Last Hope Gathering Place to replicate this power; it represented a collective of an entire civilization requiring support from an industrial system. 0

Now, Zheng Yifan reaped the rewards and acquired a large number of machines. 0

Although there was no military industry, it was still a cause for celebration. The plans for the real world would be even more grandiose. 0

Zheng Yifan's business empire was poised to conquer the globe at any moment. 0

After storing all the machinery, Zheng Yifan finally returned to the Pasta Processing Plant and walked into the innermost room. 0

It was a large warehouse; he had no idea what it had previously stored—perhaps precious raw materials or something else entirely. 0

In any case, Zheng Yifan did not know; he only knew that this door surpassed any metal door that should exist in a pasta processing enterprise. 0

It resembled a vault prepared by a bank. However, this did not stump Zheng Yifan; the greatest difference between the Post-Apocalypse and now lay in Superpowers, in everyone's sixth sense and the power of Vital Energy. 0

There was no need to meticulously decipher these things; Zheng Yifan simply used his Vital Energy to explore and observed with his Power of Faith, gradually uncovering what the password was. 0

Once known, it became simple; without Electricity, the mechanisms inside had one last line of defense that remained closed. As for the alarm system, it was utterly useless. 0

Zheng Yifan solved all problems with brute force. 0

The final line of defense was a dozen metal locks, each as thick as a thumb, which succumbed to Zheng Yifan's violent breach in no time at all. 0

The power of the Silver Spear had incredible penetration, far surpassing that of the Post-Apocalypse bombs in terms of strength. 0

When Zheng Yifan opened the door to the room, his heart was already filled with rage. The sight before him was terrifying; the vast space of several thousand square meters resembled a laboratory, and with the chemical symbols plastered on the walls, Zheng Yifan realized this was the production site of Devil's Blood. 0

He never expected that this drug was leaking out from the Pasta Processing Plant. However, what astonished Zheng Yifan even more was the sealed glass chamber located at the center of the room, where a woman sat silently weeping, with no one else around. 0

Upon closer inspection, he noticed a multitude of chemical agents being continuously injected through pipes into the chamber, along with oxygen. 0

"The person inside is being subjected to a massive influx of toxic gas; she must have been in there for quite some time. Although the composition of Blue Blood is unknown, it likely contains hallucinogenic components that can confuse a person's mind. If a Superpowered Individual has slightly lower combat ability, they would definitely be affected by high doses of hallucinogens," Li Ning whispered behind Zheng Yifan. 0

Zheng Yifan slowly walked forward, closing several valves while carefully observing the woman in the glass Quarantine Room. He shook his head. 0

"She isn't truly being eroded by these drugs; they don't possess such power. She simply doesn't want to wake up and face reality!" Zheng Yifan said, shaking his head as he stared intently at the woman. 0

She possessed Fourth Stage strength and had formidable Superpowers. If she weren't willing, she would never be deceived by such low-grade hallucinogenic drugs and would not remain in a deep sleep. The mere glass walls could be easily shattered open. (To be continued...) 0
