The Gold-Eating Mouse, whose real name is Yang Xiaochao, is forty-six years old and currently the leader of the Mianyang Yang Clan Tomb Raiders. Yang Xiaochao began learning the craft of a Grave Robber from his grandfather at the age of three and started accompanying his father on tomb raiding expeditions by the time he was ten. 0

Over the past thirty years, Yang Xiaochao has raided a total of seventy-eight tombs, returning each time with a full haul and managing to escape unscathed. This earned him a formidable reputation in the Grave Robber community, as well as the nickname Gold-Eating Mouse. 0

Five years ago, Yang Xiaochao's father died in an accident during a tomb raiding mission, and it was then that Yang Xiaochao took over as the head of the Mianyang Yang Clan Tomb Raiders. 0

"Surround the entrance to this Tomb!" Yang Xiaochao commanded with a wave of his hand to his subordinates behind him. The Grave Robbers spread out, raising their firearms and aiming at the entrance of the Tomb. With a blade standing upright in his hand, Yang Xiaochao fixed his gaze on the interior of the Tomb, standing patiently without moving. 0

Inside the tomb, Wu Jingye and his group had already rushed into the Tomb's Passage. They were confronted by a dense mass of Corpses ahead, while behind them, more than a dozen Low-level Zombies were closing in, making their situation quite dire. 0

After a fierce battle with the Corpses, only four of them remained: Wu Jingye, Dillingchar, and two Mercenaries. 0

Once the Yin-Yang Masters had exhausted their internal powers, they became no stronger than ordinary people, and their survival abilities could not match those of the Mercenaries. As a result, they all perished at the hands of the Corpses. Dillingchar was somewhat protected by the Mercenaries; despite being covered in wounds from claw marks left by the Corpses, he was still able to move with difficulty. 0

"If this continues, none of us will escape!" Wu Jingye shook his head inwardly. He was the only one who had not been injured by the Corpses, but his face had turned pale and his remaining internal power was dwindling. Wu Jingye glanced at the Corpse before him, gritting his teeth as uncertainty flickered in his eyes. 0

"Mr. Wu, think of something! Get me out of here! I’ll give you whatever reward you want if you help me escape! Please!" Dillingchar's spirit was frayed with fear as he clutched Wu Jingye's arm tightly, panic evident on his face. 0

Wu Jingye turned to look at Dillingchar, his eyes filled with disdain; any hesitation he had felt vanished completely. He shook off Dillingchar's grip and revealed an evil smile. "Dillingchar, there is a way to escape, but I’m afraid you three won’t have a chance to make it out!" 0

With that, Wu Jingye pulled three small talismans from his pocket. The talismans were pitch black and each bore a grinning ghost face carved in vivid detail; they were all distinct from one another. Additionally, intricate symbols adorned both ends of each talisman as if they were special seals targeting those ghost faces. 0

"May you three go to your deaths!" A murderous glint flashed in Wu Jingye's eyes as he swiftly inserted the three talismans into Dillingchar and the others' bodies. 0

“Mr. Wu, how could this happen!” Dillingchar was closest to Wu Jingye when the artifact pierced his throat, the entire object embedded deep within him, blood gushing out from the wound. Dillingchar clutched his throat with both hands, his eyes wide with disbelief as he looked at Wu Jingye. 0

The other two Mercenaries stood in front of Wu Jingye, fully focused on dealing with the nearby Corpse, completely unaware of what was happening behind them. Wu Jingye's eyes flashed with a murderous intent as he raised his hand and drove the artifact into the back of their heads. 0

“Fuck!” The two Mercenaries screamed, reaching for their skulls as their bodies began to wobble, their consciousness fading into a blur. 0

Wu Jingye moved quickly, taking only three or four seconds. He bit his tongue, spraying a mouthful of Tongue Blood onto the three artifacts. Channeling all the remaining power within him, he swiftly cast a Spell while chanting: “The Way is Higher than the Devil, Evil is a foot taller than the righteous! Spirit of the Demon, Dao Artifact Sealing! Human Blood as a Guide, Remove Seal! Demon Sealing Staff, open!” 0

As he cast the final Spell, all of Wu Jingye's power was drained away. His body swayed weakly, nearly collapsing to the ground. 0

The Demon Sealing Staff was an artifact used by the Daoist Sect to seal those deeply sinful spirits. The faces of demons carved onto the staff represented the true forms of those spirits within. Each of the three Demon Sealing Staffs in Wu Jingye's hands sealed away dozens of vicious spirits; if released, they would cause unimaginable chaos and likely lead to many innocent lives lost. 0

Wu Jingye stared intently at the three artifacts, an evil glint flashing in his eyes as he muttered to himself, “To survive, I can’t care about that anymore!” 0

Cracks appeared on the seals of the Demon Sealing Staffs as blood continued to flow into them. The spirits inside let out chilling wails, and the demon faces bound to the staff began to loosen. 0

“Fuck! What kind of thing is this?” Dillingchar and the others remained conscious enough to feel their blood being rapidly consumed; their once plump flesh began to wither. 0

“Roar! Such powerful energy! Quickly kill those three; don’t let them escape!” The group of Corpses sensed the energy emanating from within the Demon Sealing Staff and became increasingly agitated, all rushing towards Dillingchar and his companions, completely ignoring Wu Jingye. 0

“What an opportunity! Now I can escape!” Holding a Peach Wood Sword in hand, Wu Jingye quietly pushed past a Corpse and hurried towards the Passage outside. 0

After five or six minutes, Wu Jingye finally broke free from the encirclement of Corpses. His body bore scratches from their bony claws, blood staining his Daoist Robe. He glanced back and saw that Dillingchar and his companions were enveloped in a swirling Black Ghostly Aura, sounds of battle between demons and Low-level Zombies echoing from within. The Corpses surrounded them tightly, unable to intervene. 0

"I never expected that with so many of us acting together, I would be the only one to escape alive! All for a Nine-Dragon Cauldron, and so many people died for nothing—it's truly ridiculous!" Wu Jingye said with a bitter smile, shaking his head. He discarded the broken Peach Wood Sword in his hand and turned to run out of the Tomb. 0

Outside the graveyard, Yang Xiaochao could vaguely hear the sounds of fighting coming from within. He raised an eyebrow, unable to guess what was happening inside. 0

"Someone's coming out!" Yang Xiaochao heard footsteps approaching and picked up a blade from the ground, signaling to his subordinates with a glance. 0

After three or four minutes, Wu Jingye finally made it outside the graveyard. He looked at the long-lost sunlight and took a deep breath of fresh air, saying, "I finally escaped!" 0

"Bang~~" A gunshot rang out in front of Wu Jingye, a bullet whizzing past him and hitting the wall behind. Wu Jingye looked up and saw Yang Xiaochao and his group standing not far away. 0

Yang Xiaochao did not recognize Wu Jingye. He stepped forward, placing the blade against Wu Jingye's neck, his voice laced with menace as he asked, "Who are you? What happened inside the graveyard?" 0
