At the entrance of the office, Wei Er Shao pushed the door open and walked in ahead of Anxu and Ye Xiu.
He headed straight for the desk and plopped down into the main chair.
Anxu didn’t say much.
Wei Er Shao remarked, “If it weren’t for my dad telling me to avoid trouble, I wouldn’t have come here with you. Hurry up, let’s just go through the motions; I have other things to do!”
Anxu walked over to Wei Er Shao, patted him on the shoulder, and teased, “Get up; there are outsiders watching. It wouldn’t look good if others saw you like this.”
Upon hearing this, Wei Er Shao obediently got up from the main chair and sat down in a nearby one.
Ye Xiu stood aside, coldly observing the two colluding together, realizing that he wouldn’t be getting any favorable treatment.
“Please take a seat,” Anxu gestured to a chair for Ye Xiu to sit down.
“Uncle An, there’s no need for today’s discussion. Whatever happened, let’s skip to the conclusion. How are you going to deal with me?” Wei Er Shao said nonchalantly.
“Don’t joke around, Second Young Master. I’ll handle this in a way that will satisfy you,” Anxu replied with a reassuring expression. He then turned to Ye Xiu.
“What happened today was at school. I don’t want this matter to escalate. So, I’ll give you a warning as a disciplinary action,” Anxu said with a smile.
“Only disciplining me?” Ye Xiu frowned.
“Ahem.” Anxu stood up and walked over to Ye Xiu, leaning close to whisper in his ear, “We can’t compare to his family background. There are always some unfair situations in this world; just bear with it. Not just you—if it were me, I would endure it too. After all, a warning isn’t that serious.”
“…” Ye Xiu looked at the two with disdain but remained silent.
“Well then, it’s settled happily,” Anxu said with a smile.
"Uncle An, there's nothing more for me to do, so I'll be leaving now. You can handle the rest yourself," Wei Er Shao said as he set down the Globe and addressed Anxu.
He then stood up and walked towards the door, sneering at Ye Xiu as he passed by.
It was as if he were saying, "You? Compete with me? What do you have that can match me?"
At that moment, Ye Xiu felt an unusual calmness within himself, just like Anxu. He chose to endure!
Ye Xiu fixed his gaze on Anxu, who remained cheerful and carefree. The thought of Anxu's past misdeeds sent a shiver down Ye Xiu's spine. What could such a person be hiding beneath that surface?
"Ye, if you have nothing else to do, you might as well head back. The disciplinary actions will be handed to you soon," Anxu said.
Ye Xiu didn't respond; he simply walked out without a word.
As soon as he left the office, he ran into the classmate with the camera from earlier.
Wu Nan greeted him first, "Hey~~~"
"What’s your name? Sorry, I forgot," Ye Xiu replied.
"My name is Wu Nan! I'm here to follow up on our last conversation. Our Supernatural Investigation Team is gathering information on all supernatural events at school, including the Abandoned Laboratory you visited before. Would you like to join us?" Wu Nan blurted out everything in one breath.
"No interest." At that moment, Ye Xiu was filled with confusion and anger over Tang Luor's situation and Wei Er Shao's bullying, but he maintained an unexpectedly calm demeanor, even appearing unusually indifferent.
Ye Xiu walked past Wu Nan.
Wu Nan called out loudly after him, "I know you're different. Anyone who could come out of the Abandoned Laboratory must have..."
But before Wu Nan could finish, an unbelievable scene unfolded.
Ye Xiu appeared in front of Wu Nan, covering his mouth.
Wu Nan's eyes widened in shock.

"This isn't the place to talk. Follow me," Ye Xiu said, glancing at the office door before leading the way out.
Inside the office, Anxu heard Wu Nan's words.
"Oh? Interesting, interesting! Hahaha..." Anxu laughed sinisterly.
"You refuse to take the path laid out for you and instead choose to barge into hell. Ye Xiu, is it? It seems you know something," Anxu crushed the pen in his hand.

Ye Xiu led Wu Nan to a secluded spot.
"I'm willing to join the Supernatural Investigation Team, but I have one condition."
"What conditions? We both agree." Wu Nan's expression was excited due to his agitation.
There weren't many people in the Supernatural Investigation Team at school, just a handful, and half of them were female. Most students had no interest in joining the paranormal club, and among the few male members, most were particularly timid.
However, Ye Xiu had just returned from the terrifying Abandoned Laboratory, so he must have some courage. Bringing him into the Supernatural Investigation Team would definitely help it thrive.
"Do you know why I didn't let you go down just now?"

After seeing Ye Xiu leave, Wu Nan hugged the camera and returned to the office.
Wu Nan kept an eye on Anxu's office, but there was nothing unusual to be found.
How could such a good teacher behave strangely?
Wu Nan suddenly wondered if Ye Xiu was just trying to pass the time with idle chatter. But then again, it didn't make sense for him to bring her to a secluded place just to talk so much.
So she decided to focus on completing her task honestly.
Meanwhile, Ye Xiu had arrived at the restaurant he often visited, but at the entrance, he spotted a graceful figure...
