The rough banging on the door echoed through the living room, shattering the night's silence and resonating far and wide. 0

Behind the heavy metal security door, a beastly growl emerged, low and bloodthirsty, sending shivers down their spines. 0

"Roar... Roar..." 0

Amidst the monster's low growls, there was a hint of grinding teeth, as if it were growing impatient with the barrier before it. 0

It pounded against the metal door, each resounding thud making the security door seem like it could collapse at any moment. 0

The two people in the living room exchanged glances, and Keara pouted, bursting into tears. 0

"The monster... that monster is coming after us! Sister Qingya, what should we do?" 0

Ban Qingya was in the final stages of bandaging her wounds. Unlike the girl, there was no trace of worry or fear on her face; not even her hands trembled. 0

Outside, the terrifying monster roared and continued to batter against the metal security door. 0

The door frame shook under the immense force, and the deafening noise spread through the night sky, mingling with the creature's growls, creating an overwhelming sense of pressure as if it could break through at any moment. 0

Yet inside the living room, Ban Qingya remained serious as she continued to tend to Keara's wounds. Her face showed no signs of anxiety; her hands remained steady as she worked. 0

With her head lowered, she asked calmly, "Keara, is this monster really that powerful?" 0

The girl, initially frantic and lost, paused at Ban Qingya's composed demeanor and found herself calming down a bit. 0

Now responding to Ban Qingya's inquiry with clarity instead of panic, she said, "That monster is terrifying. It's incredibly fast. The worst part is that it seems to predict my attacks; even my electromagnetic cannon can't hit it. Every time I strike, it seems to know in advance and dodges." 0

Ban Qingya continued to bandage Ling'er’s abdominal wound while asking, "So how did Keara get injured? She can teleport; even if you couldn't defeat it, you should have been able to escape, right?" 0

At the mention of this, Ling'er’s face twisted in discomfort. 0

"Woo... it's because... at that time we were in the room. Keara's teleportation requires her to see the destination; she couldn't just teleport behind the wall. When that Giant Monster attacked us, both Keara and I were in the room and couldn't escape in time. Before we could get away, Keara pierced her body with that Giant Monster's Tentacle." 0

As Ling'er lamented, Ban Qingya took a deep breath; the bleeding had been staunched and the bandaging was nearing completion. 0

"Then how did you manage to escape? If that monster is as terrifying as you say, and Keara was injured, you wouldn't have been able to get away, would you?" 0

The girl’s face was filled with guilt and sorrow. 0

"Woo... it's all my fault... I should have been stronger. I wanted to protect Keara with my own power. But I couldn't defeat that giant monster, forcing Keara to teleport with her injured body while carrying me. That's why her injuries are so severe... Woo... it's all my fault; I'm useless. I put Keara in danger." 0

The girl cried pitifully, wiping her tears as they streamed down her face. 0

Her blood-stained hands smeared her once fair complexion, making her look like a little calico cat. 0

One hand gently rested on her head, stroking it softly as Ban Qingya's voice reached her ears. 0

"Don't be sad, Ling'er. You've done very well. You brought Keara back in time so that I could save her... Don't blame yourself; you've done an amazing job. You managed to lead Keara away from such a terrifying monster; I believe she would admire you for it." 0

With that, Ban Qingya bent down and picked up the unconscious girl, moving toward a nearby balcony. 0

"We need to get out of here and away from that monster." 0

Outside the door, the monster's roars grew increasingly deafening, and the sound of it pounding against the door intensified. 0

Around the metal doorframe, countless cracks appeared in the concrete walls, clearly indicating that the sturdy metal door wouldn't hold for much longer. 0

Ban Qingya walked towards the balcony with Ling'er, where a rope ladder she had prepared for her escape hung down into the courtyard below. It was her way out. 0

Since the monster outside was so powerful that even Ling'er couldn't defeat it, she, an ordinary person, would find it difficult to pose any threat to the creature even with a gun. Staying behind would only mean certain death; it was better to escape as quickly as possible. 0

However, just as Ban Qingya picked up Keara and turned to leave... 0

Boom— 0

A deafening crash echoed as the metal door was violently hurled inward. 0

"Sister Qingya!" 0

Ling'er's terrified scream rang out as the metal door was sent flying, heading straight for Ban Qingya in the living room. 0

In that moment of shock, she could clearly see the varying depths of the dents on the Machete and Metal Gate caused by the tremendous force. 0

Outside stood a grotesque and massive monster, its enormous body resembling a Meat Mountain, nearly filling the doorway. Several Dark Red Tentacles sprouted from its chest, thrashing wildly in the air, creating a nauseating sight. 0

The monster's face still bore a faint resemblance to Pan Dayou, but its Blood-red Eyes were now filled only with a frenzied thirst for blood. 0

"Hahaha... Eat them! Devour them all! Anyone who eats people must be consumed entirely!" 0

It opened its gaping maw and laughed maniacally, revealing a Madness-filled grin as it looked at Ban Qingya, who was about to be crushed by the door. 0

"All must be eaten! Roar! Roar!!!" 0

In the next moment, a steady hand reached out from behind Ban Qingya and caught the flying door. 0

The metal door, originally carrying the Fury of destruction capable of turning anyone in its path into pulp, was caught effortlessly by this arm. It was tossed aside as if it were nothing more than a child's toy. 0

"You seem to be enjoying yourself, Mr. Pan Dayou." 0

A cold voice echoed as Chu Donglin slowly stepped out from behind Ban Qingya. 0

After rescuing Ban Qingya from her predicament, Chu Donglin did not linger. His tall figure moved directly toward the monster at the entrance. 0

As he gazed at the creature ahead, his eyes were icy, showing no hint of fear. 0

"What’s so funny? Why don’t you come out and share the joy with us?" 0

The moment the words left his mouth, Chu Donglin extended his right hand and forcefully pressed it against Pan Dayou's large face, exerting tremendous strength. 0

Boom— 0

With a thunderous sound, the monster's hefty body was sent crashing out of the living room, slamming into the Metal Gate across the hallway, creating a deep dent. Countless fragments of concrete fell, raining down on the monster. 0

Bathed in the cool moonlight, Chu Donglin stood coldly at the entrance of the living room with his hands in his pockets, looking at the dazed monster not far away with an expression that was devoid of warmth. 0

"Aren't you fond of laughing? Show me another smile." (To be continued...) 0
