As the man named Chu Donglin was rampaging through Ming Snake Base, determined to slay the monsters in revenge for the girl named Yumo Sha, miles away in the wilderness near Qianzhou, Liu Xiner awoke from her dreams.
The vehicle was speeding along, vibrating slightly, while two girls beside her had unknowingly curled up against her, clinging to her like two koalas.
Shaking her head, she gently pried the hands of the two sleeping girls away and made her way from the back seat to the passenger seat.
"Sister Qingya, you should get some rest. I'll take over driving," she suggested, glancing at Ban Qingya, who was behind the wheel.
Ban Qingya shook her head. "It's fine. I'm okay. You go back to sleep. I'll let you drive when it gets light out. I slept a lot during the day and I'm not tired yet."
Liu Xiner sighed. "During the day, Ling'er and Keara were causing quite a ruckus. You must not have slept well, right? Now that they're asleep, you should take a break too."
